"You're dead, Harrington." Dustin said to Steve as he pulled the older boy behind an old car.

"What?" Steve asked, oblivious to the fact that your little brother has just finished solving the puzzle that was Steve Harrington's biggest secret. His feelings for you.

"Oh don't play innocent with me." Dustin says, rolling his eyes. "You were checking her out." He says flatly, making Steve cough and laugh. "It's not funny!" Dustin exclaims, slapping his bicep. "That's my sister. You hurt her, you're dead."

"It's not like I can hurt her," Steve groans, "she doesn't like me."

"Sometimes, your complete obliviousness just blows my mind." Dustin sighs. "She's likes you for a long time."

"What? Really?" Steve's eyes light up. "Look, if you're joking-"

"No, really." Dustin says, looking up at Steve's smiling face.

"Look, if you want to go out with her, you have my permission, just, don't break her heart, and don't kiss too much around me. You have a maximum of three kisses around the little brother." Dustin says, making Steve laugh again. "Go get 'er, tiger." He then says, patting Steve on the back as he walks off to go talk to you.

You were helping find things to attack the demodogs. You hated this old car lot, it was barren and served no use to you. You saw Dustin and Steve talking but didn't pay much attention, apparently the two were friends now.

Then you felt a hand touch the small of your back, and another hand help you pull a metal rod out from under the bus you stood in front of. Steve.

"Thank you." You say, looking up at him. Steve just nods, smiling. "What?" You ask, grinning.

"You're beautiful." He says, making your face instantly flush red.

"W-what?"

"You're beautiful." Steve repeats, as if it's nothing. But to you, these words were everything. Steve coughs, bringing you out of your trance. "I... I like you. A lot. And I was wondering if you'd go out with me?"

Your lips instantly find their way to his, smashing onto them as you smile. You felt Steve's lips smile, too, and then his hand go to your waist as he pulls you closer. Your eyes flutter closed as you feel yourself in complete happiness and bliss.

"YOURE DOWN TO TWO!!" You hear Dustin yell from behind you, Steve flipping him off as he continues to kiss you, and you both pull away laughing.
