Ragini caressed an unconscious Ritika as Sanskar stood in a corner leaning against wall.

"You knew" she simply stated not looking at him as he sighed her left hand and held her little sisters hand tightly.

"All this while, he was here and you both knew."

He didn't utter a word knowing that anything he would say right now won't matter. She's hurt and that's it, nothing but her pain engulfed her right now.

"Is he a better friend to you then I am?" and that question took what he needed as he finally replied "He's not my friend anymore Ragini, the day he left you it wasn't just you but all of us."

"What if it were Lav in my place? Would you have betrayed her the same way you did me?"

He clenched his fingers into a fist, anger clearly showing on his face now "hiding the truth isn't betraying, especially when the truth hurts not just one but many people."

Ragini looked into his eyes "nothing matters but just the fact that you knew he was here" she stood up her voice now deadly "all along you knew Sanskar! And yet you didn't have the courtesy to tell me just once?"

"What would you have done if he had told you earlier Ragu?" Sharmishtha stood at the door.

"Maa.. " Ragini was on the verge of tears but Sharmishtha lifted her right palm up signing to stop.

She turned towards Sanskar and smiled "I'm sorry beta" Sanskar rushed to her as Ragini couldn't believe what her mother just said.

Sanskar held Sharmishtha's hand "She's really not in the state to understand, I'll just leave please take care of her."

"Your not going anywhere beta, I'm sorry but you deserve better. You waited so long just for her and look at how she's behaving!"

Ragini wiped her tears as her mother turned to her "Is this why we stood by your side all these years? So that you break the moment that man comes back into your life?"

Ragini was speechless as her mother caressed Sanskar's face "this stupid boy loves you like anything and yet all you do is not value his love!"

Ragini gulped in as her mother walked in and past her "Tell your family there's no wedding happening, a relationship that has no trust will never last!"

Ragini felt her life being sucked out of her as Sanskar left from there without uttering a word.

"Maa, please" she pleaded falling on her knees "I'm sorry" tears rolled down her cheeks.

Sharmishtha smiled sadly "Ragu, you don't trust him, you blame him, you accuse him and all that boy does is listen. You know why?"

Ragini nodded replying "because he loves me."

"And?"

"He fears he would loose me" her reply made Sharmishtha smile as she lovingly wiped her daughter's tears.

"I really want to marry him Maa, I don't know its just that man. His coming back- "

"If Sanskar would have told you earlier that he's back, would it have affected your decision of marrying him?"

Ragini did not take a second to shake her head in No "Then why baccha? Why are you angry on him?"

"I don't know" Ragini pouted making Sharmishtha hit her own forehead.

"If you don't stop him before he leaves and apologize I'll cancel this wedding laadoo" she turned her attention to her younger daughter.

"You're kidding right Maa?"

"Do i look like I am?" Ragini gulped in her saliva and ran out of the room.

He was in his car dejected "I'm really sorry Ragini" he sighed starting his car's engine.

He drove towards the gate when suddenly someone stood right in front of his car.

"Shit!" He stomped on the breaks scared and car came to a near death halt.

He opened his eyes to find hers "Wanna die and then accuse me of your death do you?" he exclaimed getting out.

Her mouth formed an O "haww and I thought you would ask if I were fine or not?"

"I wouldn't be fine if you weren't" he replied and her lips curved up.

"What?" He asked but she shook her head holding her ears she started doing sit ups.

"I'm really really sorry" she made puppy eyes "You know how stupid I get at times na? It's not all my fault though but still! I'm sacchi mucchi sorry."

Sanskar leaned on his cars bonet as Ragini sulked he sighed "You can stop."

She jumped up with a smile "But that doesn't mean I forgave you."

She frowned "Meri majburi ka fayda uthare ho?"

"Excuse me?"

She pouted at him cutely "I love you naa!"

He rubbed his ears "What did you say?"

"I love you" she smiled cutely blinking her eyes and he made a face replying "thik se sunai nhi dia."

She walked closer to him and yelled near his ears "I LOVE YOU IDIOT!"

He felt deaf for a moment but then she kissed his cheek "I know you do too!"

His cheeks flushed as she walked back he complained "You made a handsome man deaf, not fair."

"Aww don't be such a baby" she giggled "I love you."

"Keep saying that, I swear my heart might pop out any moment."

Ragini closed her eyes as the first drop touched her, she felt something weird. More drops touched her, warm and weird.

"RAGINI!" She opened her eyes to find his eyes staring at her. Cold and dead eyes, the drops were nothing else but blood... His blood.

"Baba!" The little girl came running towards the gate spreading her arms in the air "Baba!"

He twirled her in the air making her giggle "I missed you so much! Are we going back home today?"

He smiled weakly "No princess, we can't go back now."

"Why baba? I hate it here, they make me do the house chores and don't let me read books. See" she showed him her little bruised palms "It hurts so much and even the food is not yummy like you said it would be!"

He caressed her hair "You have to do this princess or they won't let us bring back our baby."

"Baby?" her little eyes now wide "Baby sister?"

He nodded and she pouted "But she's with Nanu and Nani, can we go there?"

He shook his head in a no "They are bad people, we hate them princess."

"But why baba? They took care of me nicely when you weren't there, when mumma slept Nani hugged me and loved me. Mumma didn't get up of her sleep, she cried and cried taking your name baba and then she slept."

He looked away from her as she queried "Did she wake up Baba? Did she see how pretty baby sister is ?"

A man approached them with a bundle of notes, seeing him come near she hugged her baba tightly "He's bad baba, he hits me. My hands hurt and yet he-"

Her baba pushed her away and that's when she saw it, his greed for those piece of papers were far more then his love for her.

"It's even lesser then last time" he exclaimed counting the notes.

"The way she works, its pretty more. This little bitch doesn't know anything!" He spat.

She looked up at them confused and completely innocent, "Baba, please don't leave me here."

"Your monthly visits are spoiling her more, stop visiting and your payment will be done by posts."

He nodded "Don't let her die, she's my only way to these" he exclaimed fanning the notes.

"Good bye princess" as he left she cried louder, pleaded him to not leave her.

The other man held her arm and pulled her away, far far away from her baba, the man who was supposed to protect her left her there stranded...

Silence engulfed the atmosphere, people all dressed in white. The color she hates the most was waiting for her to be adorned.

She shoved away the dress "You called me?" Ritika queried leaning onto her room door.

She smiled nervously "You're not wearing one of those?" She asked pointing at her own white dress that lay on the floor.

"Why should I?" Ritika asked and before Ragini could reply she interrupted "I'm not even attending that stupid thing, he deserves an un-peaceful forever sister and I wish he gets it!"

Ragini did not try to change her opinion cos somewhere in her, she knew her little sister is right. That man doesn't even deserve her tears let alone be remembered and loved.

The last word made her chuckle, she laughed, she laughed even louder.

A worried Lakshya stopped by "Hey?"

"You see that?" She asked him pointing towards her window, people all dressed in white whispering to each other.

Lakshya nodded walking in "Seems like a pretty funny discussion to me."

"Hun?"

He nodded "Mahila mandal all judging you for not going down to your khoon ka rishtedar's death, what can be more funny then the fact that they don't even know the man. But judging is fun so then why not?"

"You think I should go?"

"My thoughts shouldn't matter you Ragini, you have your own life live it. Don't go cos they'll judge you otherwise. Go because you want to end his chapter from your life forever."

She nodded "But I don't wanna wear that" she exclaimed making a face at the white dress.

He chuckled lending his hand to her "What your wearing is just fine, they'll judge you either way."

They walked outside hand in hand and far away someone sighed relieved, his lips curved up.

Lakshya's eyes found him and the big brother mouthed a 'Thank you'.

Lakshya smiled letting Ragini go as she breathed comfortable, she nodded as a few ladies gave her sympathy talks.

She smiled a bit her eyes searching for him and thats when her cell phone vibrated. She picked up the call "Where are you?"

"Just around, people asking me how my fiance's doing?"

"Your Fiance's missing you" she pouted her eyes finally met his and he queried "Really?"

Ritika's lips curved up as she found her sister finally happy.

"What's so good about a shok sabha?" he queried his hand holding hers tightly.

She glared at him "You brought me here zabardasthi ka!"

"Haww" he gave her a dramatic look "I did this for you and you accusing me? Dono behene same to same!"

She twisted her lips as he finally gave up "Okay, I hate if people judge you or hate you for no reason and by not attending this funeral or whatever your just giving these guys one."

She sighed "I'm hungry" he just stared at her as she pouted cutely "Please?"

He shook his head pulling her along they went to an aunty "arre beta how are you now?"

"She's very sad aunty, she just has no words" Lakshya started talking to her while Ritika just stared at him.

He gave emotional speeches as Ritika yawned, lakshya smiled nervously "She's not slept since this happened."

She nodded bored but then an idea struck her mind as she made a sad face "I toh didn't even eat since then" she held her head "I feel so weak."

She stepped on his foot and he jumped up in pain "Ah!" He exclaimed.

She held his arm "sympathy pains" she exclaimed and the aunty nodded.

They walked away as Ritika whispered to him "Agli bar Ritzi se panga na liyo!"

"So?" He turned to her "your trying to spoil your sisters future? That sister who got you your one true love?"

The darkness hid her face but not her intentions "my one true love! For him I can go to any extents buddy!"
