{Y/N's POV}

What felt like weeks were only days, and finally the day where the Ro'Meaves would set off back to O'Khasis was here. Oh, how I was elated. I didn't want to hurt anyone anymore than I had to. I couldn't control myself when Zane attacked me. Well, almost attacked me. I'm lucky my sword didn't get involved with the little fight. Otherwise the son of lord Garte would be... No. Don't think about that kind of stuff, Y/N. It's all in the past, and Zane is okay. They're all okay...

Aiden: Y/N, come to the docks with me to see my brother and his family off.

Y/N: I-I don't think I should...

Aiden: Y/N you've been avoiding them for the past two days. You know Zane is okay, just a little sore. Everyone forgives you, my dear.

Y/N: But lord Aiden-

Aiden: No buts, Y/N. I was trying to be nice about this, but now I order you to assist me.

Aiden left my room so that I could change. I sighed, but got out of my bed and threw on the clothes I wear under my armor. The F/C cotton tunic and my S/F/C canvas leggings. Once again, I pulled my H/L H/C hair back in a ponytail with a leather strap. I turned and walked out my door where lord Aiden was waiting for me.

Aiden: Ah, you're ready. Shall we?

He held out his hand gesturing that I should grab it. I took it gratefully and smiled. His grasp was firm and loving, like a father-daughter sort of thing. We walked throughout the castle and village together until we reached the docks.

Garte: Well brother, my family and I shall be off. Thank you for the lovely stay. It was a pleasure meeting you, Y/N.

Y/N: Same to you, lord Garte.

Garte: And possibly, could you come to O'Khasis next time my brother comes to visit to teach my boys some self defense techniques?

We laughed until Aiden walked over to his brother and hugged him. I heard footsteps come from behind me and turned around in alert. It was just the Ro'Meave brothers. Vylad came up to me and hugged me.

Vylad: It was great to meet you, Y/N. Even if you did throw my brother on the ground, making him twist his ankle. By the way, you've gotta teach me that sometime!

We both laughed. I honestly thought they were all going to hate me after the incident with Zane. Why aren't they mad? Did I do something that was good? What am I saying? Of course it wasn't good. I nearly killed the seccond youngest child of lord Garte! Vylad walked away and Garroth walked up to me and shook my hand.

Garroth: Y/N, it has been a pleasure getting to know you.

Y/N: And you as well, Garroth.

Garroth: Do you think I will see you again?

Y/N: Well, your father wants me to come over and teach you three some self-defense. Which I would be more than happy to!

Garroth: Great, well I shall see you then.

He turned and walked onto the boat like his younger brother did. I turned around, half expecting Zane to be there. But he wasn't. Maybe he didn't want to deal with me and already got on the boat before I arrived. Just then, I felt someone hug me from behind. I try to look behind me but all I could see was black hair.

Y/N: Zianna! Holy mother of Irene, you scared me!

Zianna: Oh, Y/N. It's been great getting to know you! You know, I've been thinking.

Y/N: Well, that's dangerous.

Zianna: Beautiful and humorous, you really would be a perfect bride for one of my boys!

Y/N: Yeah... Wait, wut?

Zianna: Maybe when you become lord, you can marry one of my boys so you wouldn't be alone!

Y/N: Zianna, I don't have any intentions of getting married any time soon.

Zianna: B-but Y/N-

Y/N: Zianna, I'm not getting married.

She looked at me with puppy dog eyes and almost made me cry. I don't like seeing people sad, but I have to learn to resist that kind of stuff. It's one of the most important things when being a guard: not letting people know your weakness.

Garte: Zianna! It's time to go.

Zianna: Oh, Y/N... Please think about what I said...

And with that, she walked off and boarded the ship.
