{Y/N's POV}

Zane Ro'Meave... Oh my Irene he's gonna kill me!!! It's things like this that make me wish I had died along with my parents all those years ago. He knows it's me. He knows that his potion failed. He knows that his brother deceived him and brought me here. This is it, I'm going to die...

Suddenly, I heard a door open from behind me and the sound of shoes clopping on the floor. Then a woman appeared in the doorway of the closet and smiled.

???: Ah, I see you've finally awoken.

The woman bowed slightly and looked at me with kind eyes. She was wearing a maid outfit that was cyan instead of black. Her long, strawberry blond, hair was pulled up into a high ponytail while her brown eyes sparkled behind her black-rimmed glasses in the sunlight emitting from the large window.

???: May I get you anything to eat? I'm sure you must be starving.

I silently shook my head no and her smile faded into a concerned frown.

???: Are you alright, dear? I know you're confused, but you must eat. Are you not feeling well? Should I get you a doctor?

I shook my head no again. I jumped a bit when I heard the door open a second time.

???: Kaylee? Are you in here? Is she awa-

I saw Zane Ro'Meave standing in the doorway of the closet behind who I assumed to be Kaylee.

Zane: Well, look who decided to finally wake up. I'm sorry it had to result to us meeting like this. Kaylee, would you go get Y/N something to eat please?

Kaylee: Of course, mister Ro'Meave.

And with that, she left the room. Zane looked at me with stern yet soft eyes from across the room. We stood there, staring at each other, until Zane broke the silence.

Zane: I see you've found the gift I left for you.

He gestured towards the note I held in my hand. I looked down at the note and back at him, still, without saying a word.

Zane: Have you not yet opened the box? Oh well, you can do that on your own time, I suppose. Right now, you and I need to talk.

He stepped aside to let me out of the closet. I walked slowly towards him and he led me out of the room.

Two chapters in one day?! What sorcery is this?!?!
