The two Kasugai crows flies in the air gracefully, following after their new owners that were walking down below them. The sun was already out, showing that it was morning and soon to be the afternoon. Tanjiro fists were clenched, his nails digging into his palm to the point where it almost would start to bleed. (Y/n) was quiet as usual, but was stuck in their thoughts ever since the two of them left Kazumi to the girl that was about to be eaten.
Their first mission really did affect the victims, including both of the demon hunters.
And the both of them knew, they knew that the missions they'll be having ahead of them, will affect them also. Because the things that are tragic would show and be told on missions.
It isn't just Tanjiro that lost something, it was also (Y/n).
Including every victim on earth.
'How many people has he killed..? How many more made to suffer...?' Tanjiro ponders, glaring down at the ground that both him and (Y/n) were walking on.
'Muzan Kibutsuji..' (Y/n) whispers out in their head.
'I'll never forgive you.' (Y/n) promised to themselves, stopping in their tracks and snapping out of their thoughts when Tanjiro crow landed on his shoulder and (Y/n) crow landed on their shoulder.
Tanjiro snaps out of it also when his crow lands on his shoulder.
"Next up, Asakusa; Tokyo!" The crow yells out, being loud as ever. "Rumors of a demon lurking there!" The crow makes a 'kaaaw!' sound after that. "Huh? I'm heading off to my next job already?" Tanjiro questions the crow, shocked that him and his partner already have a mission to head to. "Yes! Go!" The crows responds, being replied back with an exhausted 'Hold on a minute!'. "No can do!" The crow exclaims, starting to get annoyed and decides to flap its wings while sitting on Tanjiro shoulder. (Y/n) just watches the duo bicker at each other with their crow that silently watched, as well. This went on and on as they went back to walking, changing directions to their new mission ahead of them.

After a few days, you and Tanjiro finally got to your destination.
The town was very crowded, which was the opposite of what you were hoping for. The bright lights that lit up the streets were fine, although, with many random people just bumping into you and taking up your space bothered you. It was loud too, louder than Tanjiro crow.
Realizing how the loud crow owner was oddly very silent, you twist your head towards Tanjiro, only to stop immediately when you look at him.
His eyes were bulging out of his sockets, flabbergasted by the view around him.
The face would've made somebody laugh, but it didn't seem funny to you, you had a different reaction.
You were confused. As always.
Emotions were confusing to you, including how people react to things like this.
You never really payed attention to the word and how people around you react when you were younger. Instead, you just focused on yourself. Nobody really wanted to care for you anyways. That's what you thought all the time, right when you started to observe and learn things around you in life back in that small village. Although, you actually did have somebody care for you. Unfortunately, it was before you could even observe and learn things in life that you were in. You didn't know them, you never and never will know them, nor were you able to see them again. They died before you could even start to observe them. You used to think about what they looked like, wondering who they were. Your only guess on who knew that person that took care of you was the people in the small village you were surviving in. But at the same time, you didn't want to go there.
"(Y/n), can we find a place to rest at?" Tanjiro calls out to you, sweating bullets as he asked you.
'Is it really that bad?' You ponder for a few seconds before nodding and following after him when he starts to find a place to rest at for all of you.
Tanjiro stops in the middle of the street, the trio crowded by the people walking both opposite directions. You were a bit disappointed that Tanjiro just lead you right into the crowd, but decide to not be a baby about it. Tanjiro looks around, eyes full of curiosity and wonder. 'What is this?!' Tanjiro thought to himself. 'The cities..' Tanjiro repeats the two words in his head, starting to finally walk and explore.
He stops when he sees a vehicle drive by, stepping back a little.
You watch as the vehicle drives away, curious on what it was called and how it works. "I feel dizzy.." You hear the boy beside you mumble, moving your gaze from the vehicle to him. You saw that he has his scarf pulled over his head like a hood. 'Is he sick or something?' You tilt your head to get a better look at him, noticing he has his eyes closed as he sighs.
You move your head back straight up before he opens his eyes and find a place for you all to rest at.
You all follow Tanjiro, stopping immediately at an alleyway when you all see a couple making out. Tanjiro blushes, embarrassed that he just walked on a couple making out. While you just stood there confused.
'Were they trying to eat food out of each other's mouth's? Are they fighting over food?' You stood there like a deer in headlights while Tanjiro bows down and apologizes.
You all rush out of the alleyway, getting tired from all the walking and all. Well, to be more specific. It was Tanjiro and Nezuko being tired for the most part. Tanjiro finally rushes you all out of the bright, crazy, crowded town. All three of you in relief and can finally relax. You slowed down your pace when you took note of the two getting tired and slowing down. Tanjiro finds a udon stand with a man sitting there as he took a small pipe of smoke before spotting you all walking towards him like zombies as Tanjiro calls out to him.
"A bowl of udon with grated yam on top please.." Tanjiro exhaustively—but politely—asks him.
The man looks a little concern, responding with a 'Uh, sure thing!' before he looks at you asking what you want to order. You were hungry, you didn't eat since morning. Like usual, you would eat whatever would taste good and fill your hunger quick. However, you couldn't 'talk' to him.
You stayed silent, feeling one of the same feelings from before but a bit smaller and not that much to feel.
That feeling, it was being upset.
You didn't know what the feeling was and decided to just ignore it and stare at the man in front of you.
You couldn't write on the ground, your body felt a bit tired and you didn't feel like writing on the ground. So instead, your probably gonna have to pass eating today, which you didn't feel so great about.
"Do you not want one of my udon?" The man questions, his face faltering into a bit of a frown. "I think they'll have what I ordered.." Tanjiro uttered out, panicking a little when he saw that you weren't writing on the ground like before and wondering why.
The man rose a brow at Tanjiro before nodding and going to make the udon Tanjiro ordered for you and him.
You nodded at Tanjiro in thanks before he went to sit down on the bench with his sister to rest.
You stayed standing, observing your surroundings incase anything that would have to do with the demon on your mission. Tanjiro stares at you out of the corner of his eye before calling to you. When you turn your head to him, he asks why aren't you sitting down to rest.
You just stared at him and then did something he didn't expect.
You sat down, but on the ground.
"W-wait! Not on the ground!! I meant the bench!" Tanjiro panics, feeling guilty that you would think he meant to sit on the ground.
It didn't take long for you to finally get off the ground, with you refusing Tanjiro offers and being stubborn while he refuses that you were gonna sit on the ground and instead sit on the bench with him and Nezuko, also being stubborn.
Tanjiro was bit more happy than he was when you finally sat on the bench and not the ground.
The both of you never really sat this close, Tanjiro cheeks flushed red. 'Will it progress more and more..?' Tanjiro shyly glimpse at you, feeling his heart beat a bit faster. Tanjiro smiles, thinking about what it would be like in the future with you.
'What it would be like with you..'
