Third Person POV
To every single survivor on the cruise ship, what happened next was something they would want to forget but would relive in their memory over and over whether they wanted to or not.
The passengers frantically made their way to the open deck of Deck Six, as per instructions of the ship's captain through the cruise intercom.
Everyone was trying to get hold of a life vest, a flotation suit, or an inflatable life raft.
In the end those who could no longer wait to sink with the ship just jumped for their lives with the hope that they could swim to dry land and survive.
Because the sea water rushed in so fast, everyone got separated from everyone else and everything turned into a survival of the fittest kind of situation.
The ship's captain had announced on the ship's intercom for everyone to gather on the open deck of the sixth floor. The captain was barking orders to all the cruise staff who had been trained for disasters like this.
Passengers were being handed life vests and flotation suits while the rest of the crew were preparing the inflatable life rafts that could carry a total of six passengers each.
Each raft would be lowered to the treacherous waters using a mechanical lift and from there, the passengers could only hope that they would be able to get to dry land safely.
The ship was sinking fast as the ship's captain and another staff were trying to make sure from the list they were holding, that every single passenger was accounted for.
There were three more inflatable life rafts left for the captain, the assistant captain and their two remaining staff.
The two remaining staff had gathered blankets and non-perishable food stuff and medicine kits and had placed them into several water proof containers.
The captain instructed one of the two remaining staff to place as many of the water proof containers as could fit in one life raft and made the assistant captain go with him, after which the captain personally lowered the life raft with the mechanical lift, into the turbulent waters.
Then the captain, with the help of the last remaining staff, loaded the life raft with as many water proof containers as they could fit into it and he and the remaining staff lowered themselves on to the water.
The captain was teary eyed as he watched his ship slowly sink into the dark and turbulent waters.
By the time everyone got to the island they were all so exhausted that they just collapsed on the sand and did not move for a very long time, helplessly allowing the rain to drench them.
The strong rain had dwindled to a steady but lighter downpour by daybreak, as the skies started to brighten a little bit, when a few of the survivors stirred and slowly sat up.
The captain and the rest of his crew had already started to gather all the water proof containers which contained the blankets, non-perishable goods and medicine kits and other necessary items, under a huge leafy tree with wide branches.
With the continuous rain, there was no way that anyone would get dry soon, but the first concern of the captain was that everyone could at least have something to eat.

As each wet and shivering passenger approached the makeshift table which the captain and his crew had made out of fallen logs and branches, White who had been in charge of handing out biscuits that were individually wrapped, anxiously looked out for Captain. He tried to keep his mind on his duty but he could not help craning his neck from time to time to check if Captain was among those standing in line.
Finally, just as White was about to give up ever seeing Captain again, he happened to catch sight of him from afar. He was not in the line. He was just squatting farther away from the rest of the passengers, with his head on his knees, not minding the rain that was continually soaking him and his clothes.
As soon as White gave the last passenger in line a biscuit, he ran over to where Captain was.
Captain was startled when he felt someone envelope his body with strong warm arms.
When Captain lifted his head and turned to see who it was, he tried to struggle from the embrace. He didn't need someone who was engaged to be married to try and keep him warm. In fact he had been wishing that he had not survived the disaster.
"Stop fighting me," White whispered in Captain's ears.
"Leave me alone," Captain protested, "I don't want to have anything to do with someone who is engaged to be married."
"I lied to you," White confessed, "for as long as I was on the ship, I couldn't have any relationship with anyone. But I'm no longer on the ship so I can tell you the truth."
Suddenly Captain broke down in tears. But they were tears of relief.

In meantime Guy was looking around for Captain but couldn't find him because White had covered him in his embrace.
Guy was walking around with the biscuit in his hand but which he had not even bothered to unwrap. Because he was not looking where he was going, he bumped into a cruise staff who was carrying a large container. The impact made the staff drop the container.
"I'm so sorry," Guy said, helping the staff to lift the heavy container from the ground.
"That's alright," the staff said, smiling at Guy.
Guy's heart performed a somersault as he looked at the staff's smiling face.

For those who don't know him, his name is Nammon Krittanai, he played the role of Nai in Sotus S and was paired with Guy in that series.
"Here let me help you carry this container to wherever you need to go," Guy offered.
"Thank you," said the staff, still smiling.
"Finally," another staff who had been arranging the waterproof containers under the huge tree commented, as he watched Guy and the other staff set the waterproof container under the tree.
"Thank you for helping Nammon get here faster," said the other staff, addressing Guy.

For those who do not know him, his name is Gulf Kanawut. He is currently playing the role of Type in the TharnType series, opposite Mew Suppasit who is playing the role of Tharn.
It was my first time to meet this actor in the above BL series, and although I didn't like him in the first few episodes, I melted in the 7th and 8th episodes, so kill me now.
"It was the least I could do for bumping into him and making him drop the container," Guy replied.
"By the way, my name is Guy," Guy continued speaking, holding out his hand to Nammon.
Nammon took it saying, "And I'm Nammon. Thank you for your assistance. This impatient guy over here is Gulf. You have to forgive him. His middle name is Impatience."
Guy laughed as Gulf held out his hand but not before punching Nammon lightly on his upper arm.
Guy was looking both at Gulf and Nammon, unable to decide whom his heart was falling for. Then suddenly he remembered Captain. Where the hell was Captain? Did he even survive? Did he make it safely to the island?
