Third Person POV

Jaylerr was walking out of the mall with several shopping bags in his hand. His best friend JJ was with him. They had agreed to shop together because they shared the same interest in fashion. They liked to advise each other as to what kind of fashion suited them most. Most of the time they were of the same opinion regarding a certain fashion style.

For those who don't know him, his name is James Teeradon or JJ who played the love interest of Jaylerr in Great Men Academy.

Today, both of them had free time on their hands and so they had decided to shop together for new clothes.

Jaylerr had picked up JJ from his house and they had agreed that after their shopping spree they would have lunch together.

JJ had offered to treat Jayler to lunch in exchange for the free ride in Jaylerr's white SUV.

After they had loaded their shopping bags into the back of the car, JJ turned to Jaylerr, "Where would you like to have lunch?"

"It depends," Jaylerr replied, "what kind of food are you in the mood for?"

"I'm up for anything," said JJ, "so you tell me what you want to eat."

"I would like to eat Italian food today," said Jaylerr, "is that alright with you?"

"Are you kidding me?" JJ laughed, "Italian is my favorite food after Thai food."

"There's a newly opened Italian restaurant just a few blocks from here," Jaylerr informed JJ, "it's called Cucina di Luigina." (A/N: this is just a made up name. Not sure if such an establishment exists. I'm not advertising anything here.)

"What do they have to offer?" asked JJ.

"Their specialties are pizza and pasta," said Jaylerr, "but they have other dishes on their menu."

"Okay, let's check it out," JJ said, climbing into the front passenger seat.

"Don't forget to buckle up," Jayler reminded JJ because instead of buckling up JJ was already tinkering with the car's audio system.

It was a short drive to the Italian restaurant. It was indeed just a few blocks away from the mall where the two guys had done their shopping.

It was not a big restaurant and it was located in a small plaza where the parking was a bit limited. They had to wait for a while until one of the cars parked there drove away from its spot.

They were met at the door by a uniformed waiter.

Uh-oh, JJ was thinking, this looks like an expensive restaurant, but to his pleasant surprise, when he looked at the menu booklet that the waiter handed to them, the prices were reasonable.

"What drinks would you like to order, sir?" the waiter asked Jayler first.

"A pink lemonade soda, please," said Jaylerr.

The waiter looked at JJ.

"The same for me, please," JJ said to him.

"I will go fix your drinks while you go through the menu," the waiter said before walking away from their table.

"Is there anything on the menu that interests you?" Jaylerr asked JJ.

"Hmm... I would like to try the Spaghetti alla Puttanesca," JJ replied.

Jaylerr looked at the corresponding picture of the dish on the menu booklet. It did look very appetizing.

"I got an idea," said Jaylerr, "I will order a different dish and then we can share from each other's order so that we have an idea how the other dish tastes. How does that sound to you?"

"Great!" JJ said enthusiastically.

Jaylerr went through the rest of the dishes on the menu booklet and decided on Piccata di Pollo al Limone.

When their drinks and food arrived, both guys immediately tackled the food, taking turns at taking from the other's plate.

"I'm so stuffed," JJ declared, patting his stomach with a big satisfied smile.

"We should come back here," said Jaylerr, "it will be my treat next time."

"I'm not saying no to that offer!" JJ said happily.

When the waiter came to the table to hand the leather booklet containing the bill, JJ took it and added the 15% tip to the total.

Both Jaylerr and JJ stood up and went to the cashier's counter where JJ inserted his credit card into the pocket inside the leather booklet and handed it to the cashier.

When the transaction was completed, the waiter bowed and said his thanks to the two guys and told them with a big smile to come again.

"We will," both guys replied before heading out the door.

Once back inside the car, Jaylerr turned to JJ.

"I don't want to go home yet," he said to JJ.

"Are you okay, Jaylerr?" JJ asked, "Am I just imagining it or do you look a little sad?"

Jayler looked down at his hands resting on the wheel and let out a deep sigh.

"I miss Plan," he simply said.

"I knew it!" JJ declared with emphasis. "Why did you not accompany him on his cruise vacation?"

"I was undecided as to whether we should elevate the status of our relationship to a committed one or to keep it casual," Jaylerr replied, "If I had accompanied him on his cruise ship that would change our relationship to a more serious one and I wasn't ready."

"Are you regretting your decision?" JJ asked, looking intently at Jaylerr's reaction to the question.

For an answer, Jaylerr banged his fist on the wheel, accidentally sounding off the horn, making JJ jump in his seat.

"Why don't you give him a call?" JJ asked.

"I don't know how he will react," Jaylerr replied, "he was pretty upset with me on the day that he took off for the cruise ship."

"Did you try calling him at least once since the day of his departure?" JJ wanted to know.

"I did try but my call went directly to his voicemail," Jayler said, "it looked like he had blocked my number."

Jaylerr looked at JJ. JJ was shaking his head, his eyebrows knotted in deep thought.

"I don't know at this point what to say about the situation," JJ said, moving close to Jaylerr and putting his arm around Jaylerr's shoulder, patting it gently.

At that exact moment, they heard a soft honk from a passing shiny black Chevrolet Impala.

For those who don't know him, his name is Sek Suthapong. He played the role of Mew in Together With Me the series.

Jaylerr recognized the car and the driver right away. It was Plan's cousin, Sek.

Jaylerr jumped out of the car to run after Sek but Sek had driven away without stopping.

Jaylerr pounded on the hood of his car and kicked the tires. He knew for sure that Sek was going to give his cousin Plan a call and would be feeding him all the wrong information. Sek had never approved of Jaylerr as Plan's boyfriend. He had always tried to put a wedge between Jaylerr and Plan.

In frustration, Jaylerr lowered his head onto his SUV's hood and broke down, which prompted JJ to climb out of the car and to approach his close friend and give him the comfort and sympathy that he needed.

JJ knew Sek as well and was aware that he posed a problem to his best friend.

"I would like to hang that bastard in the gym and use him as a punching bag," JJ said to his friend with gritted teeth.
