"Hello and welcome back to episode 2 of Island Escape. A gorgeous island with 6 beautiful people, hoping to find love in their 30s. "Why Jasper?"

"I don't know, he seems like he might be unhinged."

"Unhinged, you guys want to talk about unhinged? Can we please talk about last week's hand licking moment?"

"Oh. My. God. That is literally all I thought about. I was going about my day, minding my own business and I just would stop and think...he really just...he just licked her hand....and it was the sexiest thing I've ever seen."

"What surprises me about Henry is...he doesn't look like he would do that."

"At all. He doesn't look like it at all."

"He seems very composed, and nonchalant, and you know...kind of like the typical quiet but mysterious guy that might be unattainable—-"

"Unattainable to Lala."

"Stop that's so wrong. Poor girl. But yeah...and then he just...licks her."

"I still stand by the fact that they know each other."

"You were adamant about it last week."

"I am. Him and Lettie absolutely know each other. Because...it was too intimate. He is too intimate with her, for this to be a first time meeting."

"Yeah I agree."

"Even when he tied that apron around her, and the way he looks at her constantly, and if you guys watch, Lettie is....I swear there is recognition in her eyes."

"That would be super intriguing if they knew each other."

"But what about Lala!"

"Lala still has a chance. She does. Because if they're both there that means they're not together, so obviously whatever it was, didn't work.

"I still can't get over Lettie's comment about how she prefers guys slightly uglier than her."

"That's too funny. She's funny."

"But here's the thing with Lettie, I think she says that because she likes to be in control. Of like whatever, the situation, the person. She does an amazing job, analyzing the room, reading people's vibe, just creating this relaxed atmosphere—-"

"Except when she's with Henry."

"Exactly! Except when she's with Henry."

"When they voted for each other and they met up, she looked so nervous. And honestly that works for me. That Lettie to me is super hot."

"Again, that scene was hot. I still can't. Like after we watched it , I went home to my husband and I was like, Lick my hand, and he was like, what the fuck is wrong with you.

"I honestly didn't think we'll be talking about Henry and Lettie so much."

"Same."

"And you were the one last week, saying that she was going to be overshadowed."

"I don't get it...I just...think about it, Lala did not get a vote."

"Kane either...to be honest all our predictions were off."

"I know!"

"Gabby and Jasper? What is that?"

"They confuse me so much."

"Gabby needs to speak up."

"She really does. Like I understand being timid, but you're on a reality show girl. And Lettie and Lala both have strong personalities. These two girls will take over the island and there would be nothing left for her."

"Maybe she needs to just come into herself."

"I guess. She's pretty, but she's boring."

"She's going to have to get it together."

"I'm surprised Kane wasn't more popular."

"Oh Kane. I love him, he's so beautiful."

"And he seems very sweet."

"Honestly him and Gabby should get together."

"No, that would be like disgusting sweet. I don't know. I think he should try again with Lettie."

"Maybe Jasper should like...I don't know."

"Me neither, come on let's start the episode, otherwise I'll be sitting here all night with theories."

"Okay so we left off. It's day 2 and they were finishing their breakfast. We found out that Jasper and Gabby voted for each other and Henry and Lettie voted for each other. Both couples choosing to give the crew a breakfast feast, instead of kissing each other goodnight."

"And here we go."

"How'd you sleep last night?" Kane asked softly as he leaned against the counter, watching Lettie pour her tea.

"Good." She smiled as she brought the tea to her lips.

His eyes roamed her face. "Good, I was told that I snore like a mongoose."

Lettie snorted into the cup. "Like a mongoose?" She laughed loudly, her eyes twinkling as she playfully nudged him. "What does that even mean?" She laughed again.

Henry walked over to the other side of Lettie, grabbed the kettle and poured hot water into his cup.

"What a convenient time to get some tea."

"When we went running earlier, there was this waterfall, about 10 minutes from here. Wanna go?" Kane grinned.

"Oohhh a waterfall? That sounds really nice."

"Is he seriously just standing there?"

"I'm going to take a quick shower and meet you in 10 maybe?" Kane offered.

"Should I take my swimsuit?" Lettie asked out loud. "Are we swimming, or just hiking? I really wanted to get in the water today."

"Let's swim."

Henry stepped in between her and Kane, and grabbed the canister of black tea. He was close enough that his arm brushed against hers. His back to Kane, he straightened up as he faced Lettie. He gave her a look and then stepped from between them back to his cup by her side.

"What?!"

"Who is this guy!"

"Lettie and Kane are like What the fuck?"

"Yo, Henry is funny."

"Look he turned around with his tea to face them."

"He's being so nosey."

"I'll change and take a shower when we come back." Lettie grinned at Kane. "Hurry."

Kane hit the counter in satisfaction. "Okay 10, no 7 minutes. Just a quick rinse, I'll put on my trunks."

She nodded at him as he rushed out the kitchen.

Lettie picked up her cup of tea, her back to Henry.

"He's just waiting for her to turn."

"Geez, how can two people have such chemistry?"

"I know, I'm even waiting anxiously."

"Want to come to the waterfall with us?" Lettie asked softly

Henry stepped into her personal space. His chest against her back as he lowered his lips to her ear. His arms caging her against the counter. "Want me to come?"

"Henry!"

Lettie wiggled and elbowed him several times to push him back.

Henry laughed as he moved back from her pushes.

"I cannot."

"Close your mouth."

"That laugh. How is he so sexy?"

"He's playing with her."

"Stop this is cute."

Gabby walked into the kitchen and slowed her steps as she looked from Lettie to Henry, sensing as if she'd missed something. Lettie scooted further away from Henry as he stared at Gabby innocently. Feeling as if the moment must have passed, she advanced to the sink.

"Breakfast was super delicious." She offered as she put the cups down in the sink and grabbed the sponge.

"Yep." Lettie nodded enthusiastically.

Henry didn't say anything but turned to stand next to Gabby as she washed her dishes. He gave her a polite smile. "You doing okay?"

Gabby blushed and nodded as she pulled the hose and turned the tap. "Yes—-I'm....." she gasped as harsh water sprayed her face.

Henry's mouth dropped open in shock, before quickly reaching over and turning the water off, grabbing the hose from her.

Lettie clamped her hand over her mouth.

Gabby sputtered and wiped her face slowly.

Henry gritted his teeth to hide his smile.

Lettie snorted and lowered her head. "Are you okay?" She whispered as though in pain.

"Lettie is dying."

"Poor Gabby."

"Wow...." Gabby nodded and smiled brightly. "I'm doing fine." She turned to Henry, her face and t-shirt drenched.

Henry closed his eyes and shook his head, failing to hide his smile. He reached over and grabbed paper towels and immediately started to pat her face and hair.

"aww finally Gabby is having her moment."

"I swear this is going to make her fall for him."

"Absolutely."

"A little water never hurt." Henry reassured her as he passed the paper towel over her hair.

Gabby smiled softly and nodded. She stared up at him as he dried her off.

"Yep there it is."

Lettie put her hand on Gabby's shoulder and smiled. "Henry will take care of you."

Henry's hand faltered slightly as he looked past Gabby's shoulder at Lettie who gave him a brief look and then turned to leave the kitchen.

"HUH?"
"I have so many questions right now!"

"Is Lettie jealous? I don't know what's happening? What did that mean?"

"Have you always wanted to be a fashion designer?" Jasper asked as he leaned back in his chair, hands laced behind his head as he gave his back a stretch.

Lala nodded as she chewed contently on the white grapes in front of her. She sat comfortably in the chair, hugging her knee, while her other leg swung absently. "Ever since I started dressing myself. So 5 or 6 years old."

Jasper nodded calmly. "It's the best when you know what you want to be when you're young, but even better to actually follow through with it as you get older. Most people are miserable because they forgot what made them feel alive when they were younger."

Lala nodded. "You always wanted to be a football player I assume."

"Following in my family legacy." He confirmed. "Catching balls since I was 2. Fast ass little runner."

Lala giggled. "Aww I can picture little Jasper running across the field." She stared at him warmly. "You miss it?" She whispered.

Jasper sighed heavily and leaned forward. Resting his hands on the now cleared dining table. "Like hell."

She nodded knowingly. "Your back?" She leaned her cheek against her knee.

Jasper nodded and looked off at the sea. "Fucking back...." He whispered.

Lala lifted her hand and gave him a thumbs up with a wide charming smile on her face. "You did well Jasper. You followed your dreams to the best of your abilities."

"Aww why is she so sweet?"

"Look, I've never seen her smile like that."

"What a pretty smile."

Jasper looked at her hand in surprise. He blinked for a minute, his shoulders dropping slightly before he lifted those startling blue eyes to her. He chuckled and nodded. Leaning forward he crossed his arms over his chest and cocked his head to the side. "Thank you Lala."

"Oh there's sparks! There's sparks!"

"Jasper is handsome when he's not being an asshole."

Lala and Jasper both turned around to Gabby laughing.

"What happened?" Lala gasped seeing Gabby's wet hair, face and t-shirt sticking to her skin, revealing her yellow bra underneath.

Gabby shook her head. "I accidentally sprayed myself when I was trying to wash the dishes."

Lala's eyes darted to Henry by her side and back to Gabby, narrowing it suspiciously.

"What are you two up to?" Henry asked.

Lala beamed. "Oh we were just talking." She pushed her hair behind her ear. Was he jealous? Was Henry jealous of her talking to Jasper? She suppressed her glee.

"You guys want to go to the waterfall?" He offered.

"Oh he's messy."

"Isn't it a Kane and Lettie date?"

"Lettie did invite him."

Gabby blinked and slowly turned her head towards cabin B, before turning her attention back to Henry.

"Wait, why did she do that?"

"Cabin B is Lettie's isn't it?"

"Ohhhh did she hear their conversation?"

"I bet you she did. I also bet she saw him on her!"

"Why are you making her sound so suspicious?"

"She sprayed the water on herself on purpose!"

"Stop!"

"Waterfall?" Lala asked in surprise. She sat up as Henry nodded to Jasper.

"You know the one we saw on our run."

Jasper nodded. "Yeah, sounds good." He reached out and gently touched Lala's arm to get her attention. She turned to him. "It's really pretty, you'll like it."

Lala squealed in excitement and shot out of her chair. "Let me go put on my swimsuit." She twirled and flung her hair back. She turned to them with a teasing grin. "Try not to drool too much boys." She warned before hurrying off, leaving Henry and Jasper to chuckle in amusement.

"She's too cute."

"I don't know why I expected her to be bitchier."

"Cause she's pretty."

"True."

"Well that was an interesting breakfast."

"Is it just me or is Henry a bit more active?"

"I love him. I will say this right now. I love him. He is moving things around."

"I like that we kind of saw a glimpse of a different side to everybody."

"Yeah, Lettie got jealous...that was interesting."

"Henry flirting, caring, teasing...laughing."

"Lala being a sweet doll."

"Jasper opening up to Lala...you know, I'm not mad at it. For some reason I thought those two together would just be full dramatics but it was kind of sweet."

"I don't know...I'm not feeling Gabby."

"She finally had her moment."

"I guess she did, but...I don't know."

"She's awkward. She is awkward. And I think that could work for her, if she tried it another way. Like I said, she's really going to have to standout in some way."

"Oh look they're at the waterfall."

"This place is gorgeous."

"Thermal pools! Stop!"

"Okay so it looks like the group separated."

"I like this, a little male bonding and female bonding."

"Damn...they made sure these people looked good in a bathing suit."

"Let me guess...fitness instructor."

Jasper laughed and nodded as he leaned back lazily along the rocks, allowing the warm water to flow around him. "Pretty successful. My twin sister's running it now while I'm here."

"He has a twin sister?"

Kane grinned, proud of himself and turned to Henry. "What about you? What do you do?"

"No guess?" Henry asked.

Kane and Jasper shook their heads.

"You're really good with a knife. You said you're not a chef...so something with your hands?"

"I don't know."

"I'm a cabinetmaker." Henry responded casually. "I make furniture, usually more antique style."

Kane's eyes widened as his mouth dropped. "Shit that's cool."

Jasper nodded. "Damn."

"What about you?" He nodded to Kane.

"I'm a firefighter." Kane replied. "My dad was a firefighter. I've always wanted to be one and picked up the mantle when he passed."

Jasper and Henry nodded in appreciation.

"Could their jobs be any sexier?"

"And it all truly fits them."

"Kane being a firefighter makes so much sense. I've never met a mean firefighter, like ever."

"They are truly the nicest people, and so heavily underestimated, undermined and under paid."

"Anybody ever been married?"

Both guys shook their heads at Jasper's question. The blond guy sighed.

"How long?" Henry asked him.

"15 years."

"15 years!"

"15!"

"Was my high school sweetheart." He nodded. "Biggest bitch I've ever met, but damn did I use to like her."

"Why is Jasper looking so handsome to me right now?"

"15 years straight out of high school, boy is not afraid of commitment."

"Longest relationship." Kane nodded at Henry.

"Me?" Henry sighed and looked up squinting. "7 months? 8? Something like that."

"That's it?" Kane asked. "Are you a player?" He chuckled.

"Are you?" Henry countered, arching an eyebrow.

Kane shook his head. "Longest was 3 years almost. Would have married her, except her father was a nazis."

"Wait are you serious?" Jasper gasped.

Kane nodded. "My dad was a Polish Jew and my mom was from Martinique. So he didn't like any part of me." Kane chuckled. "I wondered why it had taken almost 2 and a half years for me to meet her folks."

"Damn." Jasper shook his head.

"You dodged a bullet." Henry stated.

Kane and Jasper turned both to their attention to Henry.

"What?" Henry asked looking back and forth at the two guys.

"As the youngest and dare I say the most handsome guy." Jasper started. "You get a lot of girls?"

"Okay, I'm starting to like Jasper more and more."

Henry scoffed in disbelief. "No, I don't...I do, but I don't."

Both guys laughed childishly.

"I don't have time to date." Henry protested. "I've been busy, I mean, I guess that's why were all here."

"How many girlfriends have you had?" Kane asked him.

"3."

"I call bullshit!" Jasper splashed him.

Henry laughed and moved out the way. "I'm serious. One in middle school, one in like 10th grade and then one when I was like 26."

"Afraid of commitment?" Jasper teased.

"I just don't have time." He explained. "I was in the studio with my dad all the time."

"Aww they're ganging up on him."

"Okay how many girls have you been with?" Kane asked slyly.

Henry paused and looked back and forth from Jasper to Kane. He sighed heavily and moved his head to the side, his eyes connecting with one of the cameras, before he sighed again and turned to them. "I don't kiss and tell."

"Did he just look straight at the camera?"

The boys hollered.

"More than 2 less than——"

"Less than 15." Henry nodded at them. "What about you guys? Wanna start putting out numbers Mr. Commitments."

Jasper grinned. "I'm trying to catch up with you." He replied. "One girl for a long ass time. 4 months of straight buck wild shit. Shit wasn't healthy. I need to go back to being a one woman man. Might be at 15 or 16 now, although half of them I don't remember."

They both turned to Kane who seemed to be thinking hard.

"17. I remember them all. It was probably one almost every year since I turned 16." He nodded and leaned back with a sigh. "I want to settle down."

Henry shot him a look.

"Wait, did you see that?"

"I saw it. I thought it I was too early, but I really don't think they like each other."

"I don't know. I think it's fun and games. Amongst guys we always like to tease the younger one. This conversation is purely fun."

"No. I don't think they like each other, the body language...Henry didn't like him asking all those questions, but also it looked like Kane was targeting him."

"Nah, it's just boys being boys."

"No, I see what you're saying and I think Jasper might have sensed it, cause he's diffusing the conversation, trying to make it more casual."

"Who did you guys pick yesterday?" Kane smiled as he leaned casually against the boulder. "Who made the biggest impression?"

"I was waiting for somebody to ask this question."

"Look how he looked at Henry first before looking at Jasper."

"He knows Lettie didn't pick him, he's trying to figure out who she did pick."

"He knows who she picked."

"I picked Gabby." Jasper answered. "She's pretty, quieter than what I'm used to, but...I'm rooming with her. Wanna get to know her."

"I thought you were into Lala." Henry grinned at him.

Jasper laughed. "Yeah, Lala's pretty too, honestly all the girls even Lettie. I don't discriminate. Are they pretty? Are they funny? Do they care about me? My criterias are super basic. I'm easy to please."

"Awww Jasper....is he really becoming one of my fav?"

Henry chuckled. "Good for you." He leaned back and didn't answer even though Kane turned his attention to him.

"I picked Lettie." Kane said turning to Jasper. "She's like my ideal woman." He turned to Henry. "Did you pick Lettie, Lala or Gabby?"

"Oh he's straight up asking now."

"I picked Lettie." Henry responded calmly.

"Oh there's tension. What did I tell you. They don't like each other!"

"Wait you did?" Jasper shouted out in surprise. "I thought you would pick Lala."

"Poor Jasper, the only one that doesn't know."

Henry straightened up in the thermal pool. "She picked me too."

"Why?" Kane asked.

"Why not?" Henry countered.

Jasper sat up as he looked from Kane to Henry.

Kane must have realized how abrupt his question was because he chuckled and shrugged. "I mean you two barely interacted yesterday." He passed his hands through the water gently. "Just wondering."

"Gabby and I picked the breakfast. But it was too extravagant." Jasper pointed out. "So you and Lettie must have picked the breakfast too." He clarified lightly.

"I know I've said it already but....awww Jasper."

"He's really trying to ease the tension."

Henry stared at Kane. "Lettie chose breakfast...yeah."

"OH SHIT!"

"He basically said, that's not what I wanted."

"Look at Jasper, look, he's trying not to laugh."

Henry chuckled and sat back. "Lettie and I met before." He said lightly, throwing Kane a small smile.

"I feel so validated!"

"Really? How?" Kane asked.

"No way, how?" Jasper leaned in curiously.

"We met at auditions." Henry replied. He met Kane's eyes. "We met in the elevator."

Kane nodded. "Oh I see." He grinned. "So it must have been cool to see each other again. Cool. Nice."

Henry rubbed the back of his neck and didn't say anything else, but clenched his jaws.

"Is this a reality show or a tv drama, cause damn the air is thick."

"Honestly Kane is being dismissive of Henry."

"Is it the age thing?"

"I don't know but I know Henry's biting his tongue. He looks like he just wants to say more, but he's holding back."

"How does it feel to be right?"

"It was super obvious. And I'll say this. Just call me the Henry expert...there was more than just an elevator meet-up."

"Oh you think they hooked-up?"

"Absolutely. Maybe right after the auditions."

"No....no..."

"I don't think Henry is a stranger to hook-ups. Obviously he doesn't do long term, but I won't put one night stands past him."

"I could see it."

"I don't know if Lettie would agree to that though. I just feel like she's more serious about who she sleeps with. She's carefree, but also seems reserved. She doesn't seem to me like one night stands are her thing."

"With the right guy...girls you think you know start to act different."

"Who did you all pick last night?" Gabby giggled as she lowered herself into the water.

"Henry." Lala tied her hair in a bun before lowering herself into the thermal pool.

"Henry." Lettie responded.

Gabby and Lala both turned to her as she swam to the other side.

"You like him?" Lala asked swimming up to her slowly.

"He's hot....but he's not my type." Lettie replied turning to her.

"Lettie you lie."

"So why'd you pick him?" Lala asked seeming unconvinced.

"I was surprised to see him here, that's all." Lettie replied.

"Wait you know Henry?" Gabby asked.

"They flew me over to L.A. for the final auditions, and I met him there." Lettie explained. "He was carrying this huge heavy box with him, and I held the elevator for him."

"Oh lucky!" Lala moaned. "He's so hot. So that's it? That's all?"

"What do you mean?" Lettie asked innocently.

"OH she's playing dumb!"

"They for sure hooked up."

"Wait did Henry also choose you?" Lala asked. "He didn't pick me." She pointed to herself. She turned to point to Gabby. "Did you pick him?"

"I picked Jasper." Gabby confirmed. "I should have picked Henry."

"Wait what?" Lala screeched turning her attention away from Lettie, who seemed to slowly exhale. "You like Henry?"

"He's so nice and beautiful."

"Jasper is great." Lala put her hands up. She looked back and forth at the other two girls. "We can't all go for Henry."

"I won't go for Henry." Lettie put her hand up. "He's not my type."

"Why is she so adamant about it?"

"Which is why, when she fails, it's gonna be all the more satisfying."

"Maybe they really choose each other just to check up."

"We saw what we saw. They're both saying one thing, but I know what I saw last week and I don't trust either of them."

"Good." Lala turned to Gabby. "I don't mind a little friendly competition." She grinned. "May the best gal win. I'm very competitive." She turned around to both girls. "Are you?"

Lettie shook her head. "I'm not great at winning."

Gabby stared at Lala for a little longer and then shrugged. "I can get competitive."

Lettie reached out and put her sunglasses on and leaned back against the boulder. "You two compete, I'll watch and enjoy."

They looked up seeing Sarah's drone above them. A holographic image appeared.

"Good morning ladies. I hope you have enjoyed your time in the thermal pool."

"It's the best ever Sarah." Lettie replied lazily.

"Great. Please get ready for your challenge for today."

The three ladies looked at each other and huddled together.

"Each of your cabin mates have been relocated to an area of the island, patiently awaiting for you to rescue them. In your cabin there is a map with instructions on where they can be found. You must collect 5 gold coins on your way. The person to first successfully reach their cabin mate will have a choice of going to the luxury villa with their cabin mate or change the assigned cabins of all the members."

"Already?" Lettie explained in shock.

"The villa?" Lala squealed.

"You may begin." Sarah disappeared, and the drone flew off.

"Wait..." Lettie called out.

The girls looked at each other for a couple seconds. Lala was the first to react as she swam to the edge and climbed out the pool. Gabby and Lettie followed suit. Grabbing their towels they all three rushed to their cabins.

"Yes! First official competition!"

"The villa choice already! I love that they didn't wait too long."

"Lala booked it! She is ready!"

"Oh my god, this is exciting."

"I wonder who will win?"

"I like that they have the ladies rescuing the guys."

"I am just watching, because I have no idea, no predictions...like...which of those girls seemed more capable."

"I think Lettie."

"Yeah she looks like she'll be able to follow directions or read a map."

"Or Gabby."

"Yeah I can see that...I mean going off looks, which I know we shouldn't...I don't know Lala might not be good at this."

"She was the first to start moving though. She seemed to have the most confidence."

"She did say she was very competitive."

"Okay let's see how this goes."
