I was heading to court to get this thing cleared. How dare she called me names. I was getting so much furious. With each step my anger was getting doubled.

"Shahjadi Ishwasa" Suddenly someone called me from behind. 

I looked back and found Begam sahiba calling me. Her face looked tense.

"I need to talk to you urgently." she said to me.

"I am sorry Queen but I have to go to court right now, its something important" I replied getting impatient.

"I know what you want to talk about and I am the one you are suppose to contact." She replied in her usual calm tone making me surprize.

"Come with me" she hold my hand and took me to her chamber. I silently follow her not knowing what to do.

She made me sit on the bed before her and take my hand in her caressing a bit.

"Calm down bachhe." she said caressing my hand. My head jerked towards her.

"Don't be surprise. You too are like a daughter to me. I know what is going on your head . I am a mother too" she said to me and I just stared at her not knowing what to reply.

"Believe me; what I say next will be in your favor." she said to me and I nodded believing her. I know she is a righteous queen. She will not say anything inappropriate. 

"I know what ever aapa has said to you was wrong, completely wrong. And then the rumors, it was completely disgusting and disrespecting. I sincerely apology to you Shehzadi." She said to me and I immediately nodded my head sideward not liking her apology on behalf of that old lady.

"No princess I should be doing this as this was my responsibility as the Queen to look after you and protect you from every odds. But I failed. This should not have happened. But I can not undo it and all I can do is to punish her. And Shahenshah has already done that.

I do not want this matter to go in court as it include you dignity and self respect. I know what she did was wrong but bachhe your respect is more important for me. I can not bear any finger raised on your innocence. So understand the thing what I am trying to say and do not take this matter to court." She finished and I nodded understanding.

My mother always say to me that the self respect of a girl is always at stake. One wrong move and everything will fall apart as the castle made by sand. A girl's respect is not only belong to her but also to her whole clan. One dirty spot and the whole clan is considered stained. 

People always remember the girl who was accused and will never accept the truth if proven innocent. Whatever happen they just find out the mistakes in women. 

The culprit is long forgotten. All they remember is just that girl and her being accused for something.

But the question is why only girls have to compromise for literally everything. If at my place there would be any prince of the state and he was accused wrongly and disrespected then this matter would have been handled differently. A proper apology would be there if not then war would have been initiated considering the disrespect of Prince.

For merely this reason the whole two nations would have been agreed to destroy each other. And the soldiers who would not even have known the reason properly began killing each other mercilessly.

But things are different now just because I am a girl. And everywhere; you will find girls are tied up with those thick chains of rules and regulations. They are provided freedom but in our kingdom it comes with veil and here it comes with burkha. I feel like the pet animals have much more freedom than a girl atleast they do not have to take care about etiquettes while eating, laughing, sleeping, playing and literally every activity we do.

It is what it is now, I do not want to be the center of attention on stake of my self respect. I can not afford any imputation on me while staying in another kingdom that too enemy and more than this Mughal. This should not happen. I will not act impulsive this time.

Let this matter be closed for forever. All I wanted now is to move out from here and never ever come back.

I came out of my thoughts and nodded my head looking at her. I have no option either.

 "Aap behad samajhdar hai itni chhoti c umar me hi".

"You are very sensible in such a young age" She said caressing my head.

I smiled at her slightly and take her leave. I returned in my room and once again welcomed by three of them but this time they were looking happy.

"Shehzadi sahiba do you know badi begam has been punished by Shehenshah." and Iqra told me whole story, how that old lady got punishment and how the maids who were talking ill about me have been thrown out of the palace and some were brutally punished too.

I just nodded my head giving them small smile. It does not feel good. Everything is bad. My heart felt heavy, so heavy. I dismissed them and lay down on the bed. I closed my eyes and cried my heart out. I have been suppressing my every other emotion under the mask of anger but till how much time. One day I knew that I would not able to handle the gravity of emotions and the day came early. Today happens to be the day of that ugly breakdown.

After bawling my eyes out I decided to confront the king.

I went to his meeting chamber and few moments later he entered with the Home minister and one more guy.

As I entered my meeting chamber with baaz and Arham I was surprised to see princess Ishwasa standing in front of me.

Her eyes blood red, little nose too deep red, her cheeks covered with pinkish hue and her lips slightly swollen. Anyone can guess easily that She cried so much before visiting here. 

"I want to go to my kingdom Shahenshah, If you are unable to send me back then please assign me a horse and I will go on my own. I don't need soldiers and protection I can do it by myself." she finished in hoarse voice which tuned rough probably due to much crying but her confidence unwavering.

"Firstly, please accept my sincere apology." I began in calm tone. She just stared at me giving no heed to my sorry.

"For sure I will send you to your place just give us one more day, stay here for tomorrow only and with first ray of sun the day after tomorrow you will be departed from here with our new Army chief Arham sir along with one army unit." I replied in soft tone.

"Ji, but let me make it very clear" she paused looking at me intensely and I raise my eyebrow hinting her to speak further.

"If this promise would come out fake then you will not be able to find me anywhere, anyhow I have to leave this kingdom of yours I will leave. Don't accuse me afterward that I did not warned you." she declared in no nonsense tone and went out of my chamber.

For the very first time someone oh so small has warned me, not only warned but threaten me. This little tigress has guts and I am so attracted towards her fearless attitude. I know that she is capable of doing what she said. Little part of me wanted to see her doing the thing in her way, but I equally care about her safety. A little scratch on her and my ammi jaan would kill me definitely. She likes her so much. 

I came back from my world when baaz nudged me. I looked at him and he smiled naughtily even Arham was also trying hard to hide his smile.

"What ?" I snapped. They both turned into fits of laughter.

 "PlEaSe aCcEpt mY sInCeRe aPoLoGy; Oh Allah what have I just witnessed!! Ariz the mightiest grump saying sorry for the SECOND time to that tiny human. Ahh I will just die out of shock, gosh I just can't breath" Baaz the Bastard said in his as usual overly dramatic tone and put his arm over my soulder.

"Indeed bhaijaan the softness of voice and the delicacy UFF!!" This time it was Arham, he stepped towards me and put his one hand over my another shoulder saying so.

I jerked their hands and gave them a furious look which states : one more word and I will chop your tongue. They both tuned quite but start murmuring something to each other a moment later.

"We were here to discuss something important." I stated in heavy voice.

"Ji Shahenshah" they replied in unison.

"Baaz what is the progress in Anwar's case?" I questioned him.

"We found out many things sir, it mostly include the weapons and gold, seems like he was preparing for a war, the distinctive feature of his people is they all have same kind of tattoo on their arm and we also found many more men who were having same type of tattoo which shows that they are Anwar's people. They are under brutal investigation. One after another they are disclosing the new information to us and we are working on it keenly." he replied.

"Okay that sounds good." I said to him. I looked at Arham and said.

"Arham I want you to take charge today only and investigate everything from scratch. Not even a tiny thing should go un noticed by your eye and not even single paper should be left. From counting army men to their finance to their leaves. I need every thing cross checked." I assigned him his duty.

"Ji shahenshah" he replied. I know he will get many difficulties in this task but I have full faith on him.

He is the most trusted person here after Baaz. He has always been neglected just because he was illegitimate child and was heavily bullied by Anwar and Adwaan. When I became king I wanted to give him his rights and give him higher rank as he is one of the finest skilled soldier in the kingdom be it sword fighting or archery or anything else. But because of narrow mentality he was judged on the base of birth not by skill. Even the cabinet of higher rankers did injustice to him. That day I sworn that I will definitely make him my army chief so I kept him near me and trained him secretly. 

The suspicious activities are still taking place in palace but I have notice none in my chambers. I will have to find the source soon. 

The next day was exhausting. Arham worked whole night and came up with the scams in finance which is not a small amount. A considerate amount was used nowhere for the military and the matter has been hushed up. There were a lot of other things here and there which need to be handled wisely before its too late.

But the major thing is earning the believe of western soldiers and southern soldiers. Both Anwar and Adwan has a great influence on both the military troops so I ordered the transfer letters of soldiers. 

The western and southern border soldiers has been divided into three main parts. 

1ST section is transferred to east borders

2nd section is transferred to north borders and 

3rd section has been called to royal home and adjusted their duty in city areas and few were made guards to the outskirts.

Only the trusted soldiers were left there and the soldiers from north and east border along with royal home guards were sent on their places. The whole process was hectic and lengthy but I have done it with help of Baaz and Arham anyhow. 

All the orders has been passed and from tomorrow everyone will join their duty. Approximately it will take two days for everyone to reach their assigned places.

We will anyhow win the trust of brainwashed soldiers because I, Arham and Baaz always had a very good relations with our military. 

Major corrupted soldiers will be shortlisted on behalf of their behavior. We just have this discussion but I know it will not be easy to do so. Once again I am being trapped in labyrinth but this time I am the one in control here and I have my trusted people to have my back.

With the thought of next few days, thinking about tricks and plans to execute and a lot more things I drifted off to sleep.

Next day came with new hustle bustle. Few of the soldiers were ready to depart and after meeting me they begin their journey. Few soldiers who were on leave from north and west border directly reported here and joined their duty. 

Looking after everything I retired to my chamber. I found Ammi jaan with Shehjadi Ishwasa. Oh I literally forgot about her departure. 

"Are you ready princess?" I asked being so confident.

"Ji shahenshah" She chirped and I internally smiled seeing her happy self.

"Lets move then." I walked along with both till the entrance and called Baaz and Arhan. 

"Arham you will accompany Shehzadi Ishwasa to her kingdom with one set of soldiers as I instructed you before." I ordered him with full confidence. He looked at me for a moment and understood the assignment well. Baaz coughed and I glared at him making him shut.

Soon the preparations completed and Ishwasa was instructed to sit in palanquin but Ishwasa being Ishwasa refused to sit and demanded horse. I tried to negotiate but she was adamant.

I sighed and gave her my horse my AATISH. 

I don't want to compromise her safety. 

She greeted my ammi jaan and she too hugged her and kissed her forehead. My ammi loved her already. She greeted me too and I reciprocated.

I saw her saying something to my horse and patted him lightly. She caressed his back as well. She then jumped and gracefully sat on my Aatish in one go. All of us saw them with wide eyes because Aatish is a type of horse who did not let anyone, I repeat anyone sit on him except me. Even he threw away baaz once when he tried to tackle him. I was surprised by my Aatish and her as well.

Soon the little fireball along with the trope left palace. It will take two days for them to reach the kingdom as I ordered to take rest in between. 

I indulge myself in work for the whole day meeting newly transferred soldiers and performing other duties. 

Next day 

"They must have covered major distance till now Ariz" baaz said  as we were discussing about some kingdom matters.

"Yeah, Once they reach there, they will stay for a night and will be back till next midnight if they move with one break in between." I calculated the time period.

"Yes. and one more thing, almost every soldier will report to assigned place till evening. Here is the list of new soldiers have a look and you know what to do." He said to me and I nodded.

"Shahenshah a soldier is here with urgent information." a guard came running.

"Send him in" I ordered

He entered and was heavily injured. I immediately stood up and made him sit on couch with help of baaz. I offered him water as he was on verge of getting unconscious. 

"Shehzadi is kidnapped Shahenshah" He uttered before passing out and my world got upside down.
