"Lekin..." Reem suddenly broke the group hug and said, "Itna khush hone ki zaroorat nahi hai. Maine tujhe abhi adha hi maaf kiya hai."

"Bc itna manane ke baad tune sirf adha hi maaf kiya hai... Main nahi khel rahi aise... Mat kar maaf tu."

Sana made a sad pout.

"Thik hai. Phir main jaa rahi hoon."

Reem was about to leave but Sana held her hand.

"Accha accha thik hai...bol kya karna padega tujhe pura maana ne ke liye..." She said and Reem gave a victorious smile but immediately hid it.

"Shopping pe chalenge hum teeno ek saath... Chalegi?"

"Yaar mera mood nahi hai...."

As Sana said this, Reem and Ashi both glared her.

"Accha thik hai chalungi..." She said sighing.

"Phir teen trending reels bana na hoga hum teeno ke saath."

"Okay... Phir maaf kar degi?"

"Nahi." Said Reem making Sana puzzled and looked at Ashi. "Aur kya kya karwayu iss se?"

"Umm..." Ashi started thinking. "Ek kaam kar. Tu aaj raat humare ghar hi ruk jaa. Phir tu jo jo bolegi, Sana karti rahegi. Kaisa rahega?"

"Kutti! I thought tu meri behen hai." Said Sana giving angry looks to Ashi.

"Par best friend toh meri hai na?" Said Reem. "Tu ready hai yaa nahi yeh baata."

"Ok main ready hoon. Bas maafi de de mujhe." Said Sana dramatically folding her hands making Reem and Ashi giggle.

"Chal abhi shopping pe chalte hai. Saamne Diwali hai. Acchi acchi dresses lenge. Iss baar Mummy ne paise diye hai bohut." Said Ashi excitedly.

"Mere paas toh Papa ka credit card hai hi. Chal aaj pura shopping mall hi utha ke laayenge." Said Reem flipping her hair.

Sana smiled seeing her overexcited friends and thought that she also used to be like them. She couldn't let her personality change because of that one guy for whom she didn't even mean anything. She couldn't let him take the control of her life and happiness. She would move on and show him that nobody had the power to break her.

"Guys ab baatein hi karte rahoge? Let's go." Said Sana giving them hurry.

Ashi and Sana got dressed and the trio went to the shopping mall.

As Sana, Ashi and Reem walked in the shopping mall, hanging their bags over their shoulders, laughing and giggling with each other, Sana felt that her all pain faded away. She was feeling happy and enjoying. Who needed therapy when she had her girls in her life?

They started selecting dresses and ornaments and also took a lot of selfies with those and even made reels in some places. Like this they didn't realise when their time passed.

"Sana do ghante ho gaye... Hum sabki shopping almost complete ho gayi... Ab toh tu kuch select kar le apne liye." Said Reem being fed up as Sana was not being able to select her dress.

"Yaar kuch pasand hi nahi aa raha kya karu? Kisi dress ki colour acchi nahi hoti toh kisi dress ki fabric acchi nahi hai... Bohut pareshani hai." Said Sana making a pout while seeing the dresses.

"Behen kaash itni mehnat ladka select karne mein kar liyi hoti." Murmured Ashi which Reem heard and nodded in agreement.

"Yaar tum dono karte raho phir select. Main thoda perfumes and glasses dekh ke aati hoon apne liye. Ho jaaye toh mujhe bula lena."

Saying that, Reem left from there while Ashi started helping Sana to select.

After sometime, Ashi also became tired as Sana couldn't select any dress. Suddenly an idea came to Sana's mind.

She hold a dress and took a selfie with it. Then she sent it to Sid.

"Yeh dress le rahi hoon Diwali ke liye. Kaisi rahegi?"

She typed and started waiting for his reply.

Here, Sid was making notes with the help of Internet when he received Sana's message. As soon as he saw this, a smile came to his face.

He looked at the dress carefully and then typed.

"Bohut bekar hai. Kuch aur dekh."

After reading his message, Sana said making faces, "Yaar yeh bohut bekar hai. Kuch aur dikha."

"Accha phir yeh...."

Ashi showed another dress and she took a selfie with it then sent it to Sid.

"So so hai."

"Ashi yeh so so hai... Mujhe kuch accha chahiye yaar." Said Sana.

"Yeh last wala hai. Agar yeh bhi pasand nahi aaya toh khud dhund lena." Said Ashi getting irritated.

Sana took a selfie with it and sent it to Sid.

Sid's eyes got stuck in that dress. He started imagining her in that dress.

"Reply de. Kaisi hai?"

Sid's thoughts broke by her message and he replied.

"Beautiful 👌🏻"

A huge smile came to Sana's face and she said excitedly, "Yeh badhiya hai. Yeh hi le rahi hoon main."

Ashi huffed and said, "finally."

She didn't realise that Sana sent those selfies to Sid to select the dress for her.

Sana then typed, "Thank you 😊❤️"

Sid chuckled seeing her message and replied, "My pleasure 😌"

Sana smiled cutely and then kept her phone inside her bag.

After taking the dresses they were about to call Reem when she suddenly came in front of them.

"Paata hai abhi kya hua?" Said Reem excitedly.

"Tu baatayegi nahi toh pata kaise chalega?" Asked Ashi.

"Arrey maine kisi ko dekha."

"Bhoot woot toh nahi dekh liya?"

"Lagta hai mirror mein apni shakal dekh liyi hogi." Said Sana laughing.

"Bakwas band karo dono!" Shouted Reem making them quiet. "Yaar maine yaaha ek bande ko dekha. And he was so handsome and cute."

Sana and Ashi widened their eyes hearing that.

"Matlab jiju mil gaye?" Asked Sana being excited more than her.

"Paata nahi. Humara eye contact hua toh main thoda sharma ke turn hogayi. Phir jab wapas palat ke dekha toh woh waha nahi tha. I lost him."

Reem made a crying face while Sana and Ashi burst into laughter.

"Koi na. Agar teri kismat mein likha hoga toh mil jayega phir se." Said Sana keeping her hand on Reem's shoulder.

"Sacchi milega?" Asked Reem making pout.

"Aur nahi toh kya? Abhi udas mat ho. Chal counter pe jaa ke payment kar dete hai. Bohut shopping kar liyi aaj."

Ashi giggled and three of them went to the counter and paid the bill.

After returning home, Sana, Ashi and Reem tried the dresses. Then as Reem said, she made Sana do everything she wanted. She asked her to make coffee for all of them, did make-up on her face, and even made her dance in some famous item songs. While dancing, Sana asked them to join and they did a lot of fun together.

At night, after dinner, they came back to the room and played some latest k-drama on netflix and started watching while eating popcorn. After few episodes, Reem and Ashi fell asleep being tired and Sana chuckled looking at her crazy besties, who did everything they could to cheer her up.

Suddenly her phone buzzed as she received Sid's message.

"Oye! Kya haal? Woh dono so gaye? Free hai na tu ab?"

Sana frowned a little and typed.

"Aaj ka plan toh hum girls ke bich tha? Tujhe iss baare mein kaise paata?"

"Simple hai. Tu aaj shopping mall gayi thi aur shopping karne tu kabhi akele jaati nahi. Matlab uss waqt Reem aur Ashi tere saath the. Aur uske baad tune ek baar bhi mujhe call yaa message nahi kiya, matlab tu apne girls gang ke saath busy thi, right?"

"Oh my god! Tu toh bada intelligent hai."

"Topper for a reason Madam 😎"

"Flex karne ka tarika thoda casual tha 🙄"

They both laughed silently while texting each other.

"Accha sun na. Tune woh dresses Diwali ke liye kharidi hai na?"

He messaged after sometime.

"Haan. Iss baar main Diwali celebrate karne ke liye bohut excited hoon. Meri pehli Diwali jo hai Mumbai mein 😄"

Sid smiled reading that and typed, "Toh iss baar Diwali celebrate karne tu humare yaaha aa jaana. Maa aur Chachu, Chachi mil ke bohut badi party de rahe hai. Unke business partners aur kuch relatives aayenge humare. Unhone kaha hai hum apne friends ko bula sakte hai. Toh tum log aa jaana. Masti karenge saath mein."

Sana's smile faded away reading that. She thought for a while and started typing.

"Sorry par main nahi aa sakti... Udhar Kabir bhi hoga na?"

Sid frowned reading that.

"Toh kya hua? Kabir toh school mein bhi hota hai. Tu waha jaise usse ignore karti hai waise hi party mein bhi ignore karna."

Sana bit her lips as she couldn't understand what to reply. She didn't want Kabir to spoil her Diwali. And no matter how much she tried to stay strong, she would eventually get hurt seeing Kabir ignoring her, flirting with other girls and behaving normally as if nothing happened between them. Her eyes welled up thinking about it.

As Sana was not giving any reply, Sid understood what was going inside her. He sighed and started typing again.

"Dekh Sana, tu jitna Kabir ko khud ko hurt karne degi, woh utna hi tujhe hurt karega. Behtar hai tu bhi aise behave kar. And why are you only thinking about him? Zara mere baare mein bhi soch. Mujhe bhi toh Diwali celebrate karni hai, apni iss nayi friend ke saath."

Sana smiled reading the last line.

"Accha friend na sahi, apni iss nakchari frenemy ke saath?" He typed further.

Sana giggled silently and typed, "Phir toh mujhe aana hi padega lagta hai. Waise mera bhi mann hai Mr. Grumpy Pants ke saath Diwali celebrate karne ka. Kyu ki mujhe paata hai, mere bina uski Diwali boring hi hogi."

Sid smiled and typed, "Jab sab kuch paata hi hai toh padso shaam ko aa jaana Ashi aur Reem ko leke. Tera intezaar rahega, Queen of Chaos."

"Intezaar karna acchi baat hai. Kyu ki make-up karne mein waqt lagega mujhe 💅🏻"

"Of course. Bina make-up ke toh bhootni lagti hai tu 💀"

Sana widened her eyes and made an angry face reading that. She was about to type something but Sid went offline.

Then she chuckled, kept her phone aside and laid down hugging Ashi and Reem. In no time, she fell asleep.

It was the day of Diwali... Sana's first Diwali in Mumbai. She was very excited to celebrate it with her Mama, Mami, Nani, Ashi and her new friends here, especially Sid. When he became so special and important to her, she herself didn't realise. She decided that from now she wouldn't let Kabir affect her and would celebrate her Diwali with her closed ones and enjoy to the fullest.

In the morning, she wished her father Vikrant Ji happy Diwali and then became busy in making rangoli with Ashi. They made a beautiful rangoli near the door.

They also helped Anshika Ji and Nani in making sweets and Avinash Ji in putting lights.

In the evening, they got ready for the Diwali party, wearing gorgeous lehenga. They both were looking extremely pretty.

Anshika Ji performed Laxmi Puja in the house and after it was done, they started hurrying to go to the party.

"Bacchon Diwali ke din khaali haath nahi jaate. Yeh Mithai toh leke jaao." Said Anshika Ji giving a box of sweets.

"Ab hum jaaye Mami? Der ho rahi hai." Said Sana making puppy eyes to which Anshika Ji nodded in disbelief.

"Jaao par zyada der mat karna. Acche ghar ki ladkiyan der raat tak bahar nahi rehti." Said Avinash Ji sternly.

"Yeh lo. Suru ho gaya iss buddhe ka pravachan." Said Nani rolling her eyes. "Arrey Diwali ka din hai. Bacche aaj masti nahi karenge toh kab karenge? Main toh kehti hoon tum log jitni der marzi udhar rukna, koi zaldi nahi hai wapas aane ki."

Avinash Ji didn't understand what to say while Anshika Ji chuckled.

"Thank you Nani. Bye bye."

Sana and Ashi giggled and left their house.

On their way, they picked up Reem who was also ready in traditional outfit, looking beautiful and gorgeous.

Three of them sat inside the cab which started going to the venue.

"Ohho tum dono kitni khubsurat lag rahi ho. Aaj toh saare ladke pagal hi ho jaayenge." Said Reem teasingly.

"Tu bhi kuch kam khubsurat nahi lag rahi. Aaj Diwali party mein hum teeno ko hi dekhenge sab." Said Sana flipping her hair.

"We will slay together." Said Ashi and three of them did high-five while giggling.

On the other hand, Sid was waiting for Sana at the venue. Today he wore a black traditional kurta and looking the most handsome boy in the party.

Suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder and turned behind only to find Kabir.

Kabir's look 👇🏻👇🏻

"Kya hua Bhai? Aise bechain hoke kiski raah dekh raha hai? Koi girlfriend aane wali hai kya teri?" Asked Kabir jokingly to which Sid rolled his eyes.

"Tujhe inn sab ke alawa kuch aur sujhta nahi hai kya? Bhul mat main teri tarah nahi hoon Kabir." Said Sid getting little irritated.

"Chill bro! Mazak kar raha tha. Accha kiska wait kar raha hai yeh toh baata."

"Humare friends ka, Randeep bhi nahi aaya abhi tak aur naa hi Sana, Ashi aur Reem."

"Aa jaayenge. Don't worry. Waise main bhi kisi ka wait kar raha hoon."

"Kiska?"

"Naina... Usko invite kiya hai maine. Aati hi hogi."

"Kya? Tune usko invite kiya?" Asked Sid with disbelief. "Woh kabse teri itni acchi dost ban gayi? Pehle toh tu baat tak nahi karta tha uss se."

"Haan but koi toh chahiye na flirt karne ke liye. And Naina is perfect for me. Khubsurat hai, hot hai, aur kya chahiye?"

Kabir laughed which irritated Sid, thinking that now Sana would again get hurt seeing Kabir with Naina.

"Happy Diwali Bro!"

Sid's thoughts broke by Randeep's voice who walked towards them.

Sid and Kabir hugged Randeep and wished happy diwali. After sometime, Naina arrived at the party and Kabir became busy with her forgetting his friends.

"Ek aur ladki? Seriously?" Asked Randeep being shocked.

Sid sighed and said, "Mere paas words nahi hai kehne ko. Abhi toh main bhi thak chuka hoon. Bas Sana ka soch ke darr lag raha hai. Bechari phir se hurt ho jaayegi, woh bhi Diwali ke din."

"Koi nahi. Tu hai na uske liye? Woh hi enough hai."

Sid gave a sad smile hearing that. He wished if he was actually enough for her.

Sid and Randeep were busy talking when suddenly Randeep's eyes fell on Ashi who walked in and he became speechless seeing her.

Sid became confused at first but then noticed Ashi.

"Bhai I know tu Ashi ko like karta hai, woh teri future girlfriend hai but aise kisi ladki ko taadna acchi baat nahi hoti. Control yourself." Said Sid teasingly.

Randeep suddenly noticed something and said, "Yeh hi baat tu piche dekh ke bol.... Dekh dekh..."

Randeep forcefully made Sid turn behind and as soon as he looked there, his mouth became o-shaped.
