After the conversation, Sid and Sana came to the dinner table and sat with others. They all started having dinner.

"Mmm... Khana bohut tasty hai... Yeh aap ne banaya hai Aunty?" She asked looking at Vaani Ji, who smiled at her and nodded.

"Ab mere Kabir ke dost aaye hai, socha unke liye kuch special banaya jaaye. I'm glad you liked it."

Sid became sad hearing that but shrugged it off as he was habituated to it. His friends already knew how Vaani Ji behaved with him so they didn't say anything but Sana became confused at her words.

"Aunty hum Sid ke bhi friends hai." She said correcting her while Vaani Ji's expression changed.

"Haan main jaanti hoon. Mera kehne ka matlab woh hi tha." She said smiling forcefully.

"Shehnaaz Beta, khana accha lag raha hai toh aur lo na. Itna sharma kyu rahi ho?" Said Dadi changing the topic.

"Nahi Dadi itna hi kaafi hai. Main dieting pe hoon. Actually main na easily weight gain kar leti hoon isliye mera kam khana hi thik hai. Already kaafi moti hoon, mujhe slim hona hai."

Sana made a pout making Dadi chuckle.

"Kisne kaha tu moti hai? Tu toh badi pyaari hai."

Sid smiled hearing his Dadi's words while Sana giggled showing her bunny teeth.

"Waise main toh aur lungi. Kyu ki main jitna bhi khaa loon, weight gain nahi karti." Said Reem while eating making everyone laugh.

Amid this, Dadi noticed Sid whose eyes were fixed at Sana, he was adoring her. She somewhere understood his feelings and smiled in her mind.

After dinner they started leaving. Standing outside, Kabir, Randeep, Reem and Ashi were discussing about the exam when Sana took Sid away from them to talk to him privately.

"Accha sun na, woh Kabir wali baat jo maine tujhe baatayi woh filhaal kisi ko mat baata na tu. Ek baar exams khatam ho jaaye main khud sab ko baata dungi. Till then, please keep it a secret."

Sana made puppy eyes while Sid's heart pinched but he hid his pain easily and smiled.

"Don't worry. You secret is safe with me." He said assuring her.

"Paata hai... Tabhi toh tujhe baataya. Aur toh aur tu uska Bhai hai toh tujhe behtar paata hoga ki woh mere liye same feel karta hai yaa nahi."

"I don't know woh exactly kya feel karta hai. But jaha tak mujhe pata hai, uski choice kaafi kharab hai. Toh uske dil mein tere liye feelings hogi hi. Haan agar uski choice meri tarah acchi hoti... Tab chances the ki woh tujhe reject kar de."

He said playfully while Sana rolled her eyes.

"You know you are so mean. Kutta!"

She slapped his arm slightly.

"Ouch! Kamini!" He said dramatically. "Tere toh baat baat pe haath pair chalne lagte hai. Bhagwan hi bachaye mere Bhai ko tujhse."

Before she could say further, she felt something near her leg. She turned around and found Meow who was rubbing itself on her leg.

"Yeh kaun hai? Aww it's so cute."

Sana picked Meow up and started caressing it.

"Yeh Meow hai. My pet cat and my best friend too. Hum padh rahe the na toh yeh Pihu ke room mein thi. Zyada der mujhe dekha nahi isliye aa gayi hogi idhar. Bohut pyaar karti hai mujhse.... And I think she likes you too."

"Really?" Sana giggled and said, "You know I love pets, though I never had one. Papa ne permission nahi diyi. But chalo... At least kuch toh common nikla humare bich."

Sid smiled sadly and said, "Kya fayda? Pyaar toh tu Kabir se karti hai."

"Haan?"

He immediately smiled and said taking Meow from her, "I mean iss waqt yeh zyada matter karta hai ki tere aur Kabir ke bich kya kya common hai. After all you love him. Similarities toh honi chahiye."

"Haan haan similarities toh bohut hai humare bich. Hum dono extrovert hai, hum dono ko masti karna pasand, hum dono ko studies ne nafrat hai aur exams se darr lagta hai...."

Sana gave a scared expression and Sid nodded in disbelief.

"Waise exams se yaad aaya... Kal ke liye best of luck. I know topper ko iski koi zaroorat nahi hai but still..."

Sana smiled making Sid smile too.

"Tujhe bhi best of luck. Pass ho jaayegi tu."

"Woh toh ho hi jaaungi, tere suggestions hai na?" Sana winked at him.

"Chal bye. Kal milte hai school mein."

She waved bye towards him and then towards Meow.

"Oo Queen of Chaos, ghar jaa ke thoda revision kar lena, ghore bech ke so mat jaana." He said loudly while she was leaving.

"Aur tu ho sake toh thoda so lena, puri raat jaag ke padhai mat karne lag jaana, Mr. Grumpy Pants." She too said loudly and their other friends laughed hearing their conversation.

After their friends left, Sid and Kabir went to their room. Kabir immediately fell asleep, Sid decided to study little more.

While studying, he remembered Sana's words when she confessed her love for Kabir. Everytime he thought of it, his heart broke. It was obvious from the starting that she loved Kabir but still his heart couldn't accept it, as he started liking her too. He was in dilemma as it was wrong to have feelings for someone you likes his brother. He needed to control his emotions.

"Mujhe toh Sana suru se pasand nahi thi. Phir itna bura kyu lag raha hai? She and Kabir, they are just perfect for each other. Mujhe nahi aana unke bich. Main aur woh dost hi thik hai. Sana ke liye jo bhi feelings mere dil mein hai, usko control karna hoga. I can't let her know about my feelings, never."

He became determined that he would never tell her about his own feelings and would always support her as a friend. Maybe that would be the best.

Sid closed his eyes and remembered his first meeting with Sana. Their fights at the school corridor, then him caring for her, her constant support when they were locked inside the classroom and then slowly becoming friends. He himself didn't realise when he grew feelings for her amid these incidents.

"Suna tha, first love always hurts... Aaj paata bhi chal gaya."

Thinking it, he chuckled painfully.

From next day, their exams started and they all became busy in that. Be it toppers, averages or backbenchers, everyone's focus were on books only, some read to top while some read to pass. However their exams days passed with all this and as soon as the exams were over, Sana started preparing to confess her feelings to Kabir.

One day, the school corridors were empty, and Sana's hands trembled as she waited by the staircase, heart pounding. She had rehearsed this a thousand times, yet the thought of finally telling Kabir made her nervous. But today was the day she could not hold back her feelings any longer.

As Kabir approached, Sana took a deep breath, her voice barely a whisper, yet filled with emotion. "Kabir… mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai"

Kabir raised an eyebrow, looking amused but impatient "Kya baat hai, Sana? Bolo na"

Gathering all her courage, Sana looked him in the eyes "Main… tumhe pasand karti hoon, Kabir. I really like you."

For a moment, silence hung between them, and Sana's heart soared with hope. But then, Kabir's expression changed. A smile played on his lips.

"I like you too Sana." he said looking into her eyes, she smile shyly.

She was so overwhelmed that she lost speech. She just kept staring at him.

"Sana tum itni chup kyu ho? Kuch bolo.... Sana.... Sana...."

Sana frowned when Kabir's face and voice slowly turned like Ashi's.

"Sana kaha khoyi hui hai? Main baat kar rahi hoon tujhse."

Sana came out of her delulu world as Ashi jerked her shoulder.

"Kya hogaya?" She asked looking at her.

"Woh hi toh main puch rahi hoon kya ho gaya. Tae Moo ne Ha Ri ko propose kiya, tu toh uss mein aise kho gayi jaise usne tujhe propose kar diya ho."

Sana made a sad pout and said, "Tae Moo kyu karega? I thought Kabir ne..."

She immediately bit her tongue realising what she said while Ashi widened her eyes in shock.

"Kabir ne kya?" She asked to know further.

"Kuch bhi toh nahi. Abhi business proposal khatam karte hai. Iss baare mein baad mein baat karenge."

Sana looked at the laptop while Ashi paused the episode.

"Mujhe abhi baat karni hai." She said sternly. "Tu Kabir ke baare mein soch rahi thi, iska kya matlab hai? I hope tum dono ke bich aisa kuch nahi hai jo main soch rahi hoon...."

Sana paused for a while and said, "Aisa hi hai... I like him."

"What?" Ashi freaked out.

"Tu... Yeh sab... Kaise? Kyu?.... Oh God! Samajh nahi aa raha tujhe kya bolu."

"Tu itna gussa kyu ho rahi hai?"

"Gussa nahi hona chahiye? Mere aur Reem ke itna maana karne ke baad bhi tu uske pyaar mein kaise padh gayi? Yaar chalta phirta red flag woh, aur Dora the explorer jaisi andhi tu."

"Ahhaan! Aise mat bol na. Kabir accha hai trust me. Aur mujhe lagta hai woh bhi mujhse pyaar karta hai... Please meri help kar na usko propose karne mein..."

Ashi sighed looking at Sana's face. She understood there was no use of making her understand now. She wouldn't listen to her.

"Tu sure hai na? Do you really like Kabir?" Asked Ashi for the last time and Sana nodded in yes.

"Aur kis kis ko paata hai iss baare mein?"

"Sirf Sid ko paata hai aur kisi ko nahi. Usne kaha ki Kabir bhi mujhe pasand karta hai. Maine socha tha exams ke baad tum sab ko baata dungi aur hum saath mein ek accha sa proposal plan karenge."

"Agar Sid keh raha hai toh... I hope Kabir sudhar gaya ho aur woh tere baare mein serious ho."

"Aisa hi hoga. Tu dekh lena."

Ashi smiled looking at Sana and hugged her. Though she had doubt on Kabir, but she didn't want her sister to get hurt.

After breaking the hug, Ashi said, "Chal main Kabir ko chhor ke bakiyon ko message kar deti hoon. Hum sab ek jagah pe meet kar ke planning karte hai kuch."

Sana nodded her head excitedly.

Later that day, all the friends except Kabir, gathered near a cafe and Sana told everyone about it. Randeep and Reem were shocked hearing it and Reem was angry at first but then she understood realising that Sana was serious about him.

"Accha toh ek kaam karte hai, main, Ashi aur Randeep decoration ka dekh lete hai aur Sid... Tu aur Sana jaa ke jagah book kar le. Tere Chachu ki toh jaan pehchaan hai, toh easily ho jayega." Said Reem.

"Mera aur Sana ka saath jaana zaroori hai?" Asked Sid immediately as he didn't want to stay near her. There were lot of emotions which bubbled up inside him. The more she would be near, the more it would be hard for him to control them.

"Main aur Randeep chalte hai na? Tum teeno decorations ka dekh lo." He said further.

"Nahi yaar. Mujhe teri zaroorat hai. Raaste mein tu mujhe practice karwayega ki Kabir ko kaise propose karna hai. So we are going together." Said Sana and Sid couldn't say no to her. He nodded.

Meanwhile Randeep noticed Sid's face and understood that there was something wrong. He knew that he was hiding something and it was related to Sana. He decided to talk to him about it later.

After that, they did as they planned. Randeep, Ashi and Reem went to buy the things for decorations while Sid and Sana booked a place for the proposal. On the way, Sid told Sana about Kabir's like and dislikes and how she should propose him.

While walking, Sana's eyes fell on a flower shop and she stopped there.

"Main toh bhul hi gayi thi. Propose karne ke liye flowers toh chahiye honge. Accha Kabir ko kaunse flowers pasand hai?"

Asked Sana and Sid started laughing.

"Pagal hai kya? Yeh sab galti se bhi mat karna. Usko flowers bilkool nahi pasand."

Sana was shocked.

"Duniya mein aise insaan bhi hai jisko flowers nahi pasand?"

"Kabir aisa hi hai."

"Par main usse badal dungi. Movies mein bhi toh aisa hi hota hai. Heroes toh pehle pyaar mein hi yakeen nahi karte lekin heroines ke aane ke baad sab kuch change ho jaata hai. Yaaha bhi aisa hi hoga. Akhir meri love story hai, it will be the filmy one."

Saying that, Sana giggled.

Sid nodded in disbelief and said, "Tu apni filmon ki duniya se kabhi bahar nahi niklegi na?"

"Kabhi nahi. Yeh duniya best hai.... Accha woh chhor, abhi yeh baata, kaunse flowers loon? Tujhe kaunse flowers pasand hai?"

"Arrey mujhe kyu..."

"Baata na!"

Sid sighed and said, "I like sunflowers."

"Phir sunflowers hi le leti hoon."

Sana bought a bouquet of sunflowers and then at last asked, "Last baar puch rahi hoon... Kabir pakka mere proposal ko accept karega na?"

"Kya paata. But I really wish woh tujhe reject kar de. Because my brother deserves much better." He said intentionally to irritate her while Sana showed him her tongue.

"Ab chal... Aur bhi bohut kaam hai." Said Sid laughing and they started walking together.

While going, Sid noticed the excitement on her face and smiled sadly. She is his first love whom he didn't get. But he wished that she gets everything she wanted as he didn't want this smile to go away from her face.... never ever.
