Kartik reached singhania sadan in the afternoon next day.

"Kartik!" Keerti said as soon as she saw him.

"Tum kahin baahar jaa rahe ho?" Kartik pretended to not know about it.

"Haan woh naksh ko kuch kaam tha toh unhone mujhe saath chalne ko kaha. Lekin tum yahan kya kar rahe ho! Mujhe pata tha tum mujhe wi...." Kartik interrupted her.

"Woh mujhe Naira se kuch kaam tha, toh main aagaya." Kartik blurted, as he didn't know what to say else.

"Tumhe? Naira se kaam? Kya kaam tha?" Keerti asked looking at Kartik while he rubbed the back of his neck smiling sheepishly.

"Hmm woh actually ab sangeet performance toh dekha hum sabne, Naira unka performance kitna accha tha, toh isiliye mujhe unka choreographer ka number chahiye tha, mere ek dost ka bachelor's party hai, toh usme dance ke liye." Kartik said, and Naira looked at him from behind, while he gave her a proud smile for the reason he made.

Keerti looked at Kartik first and then following the gaze she looked at Naira who instantly passed a smile at her.

"Woh rahi Naira. Tum karlo kaam...lekin ruko." She stopped him.

"Ek phone number ke liye ghar pe aagaye? Call karke puch lete na." Keerti said, while Naira facepalmed herself.

"Aise hi bekaar ideas aate hai yeh mendak ke dimaag mein!" She said nodding her head.

"Nani dekho na! Ab kya main yahan aa bhi nahi sakta? Mujhe toh nani ke haath ke matar ke kachori khaane thhe, toh bahana dhund ke aagaya. Lekin yahan kisi ko accha nahi laga toh main chala jaata hu." Kartik said very innocently.

"Dramebaaz kahin ka!" Keerti hit his head slightly, smiling.

"Nahi beta, tum toh kabhi bhi aa sakte ho. Chalo aao andar." Rajshri said smiling.

"Nani main jaake aati hu." Keerti said smiling looking at her.

"Dhyaam se jaana beta, aur aaram se aana." She said and keerti nodded walking out.

"Tum aur Naira kaam shuru karo, hum sab mithai sab ka dekhte hai tab tak." Rajshri said.

"Kya Kartik, ek dhang ka bahana nahi bana tumse? Thodi derr aur, aur phir bhabi ko pata chal jaata plan ka!" Naira said as soon as Kartik came to her.

"Arrey lekin pata chala? Nahi na? Toh bas. Mere naatak ne pata chalne hi nahi diya." Kartik said smiling.

"Naatak? Dramebaaz ho tum poore ke poore!" Naira said

"Haan toh kisi drama company mein kaam karu?"

"Nahi baba nahi, rehem karo unpe!" She said joining her hands, while Kartik narrowed his eyes at her.

"Tum dono ka jhagda khatam hogaya, toh kaam shuru kare?" Gayu said and they both nodded.

"Main gifts packing karunga!" Kartik said.

"Haan aur ladder pe chadke main sab decoration karungi hai na?" Naira said sarcastically.

"Haan ji!" Kartik smiled back.

Naira nodded and climbed up, but as soon as she took the last step, she slipped, but before she could fall, Kartik held her. All the decorations in her hand, along with the garland entangled them.

Kartik signalled that he will remove it. And standing really close to each other, hir breath fanning her face, she kept looking at Kartik, while he tried to detangle them.

"Hogaya!" Kartik finally detangled them both, but Naira kept looking at her.

"Maine kaha tha na, meri harr baat sach hoti hai." Kartik crossed his arms and Naira came out of her thoughts.

"Kya?"

"Maine kaha na ki 5 minute tumhe chodhu toh tum kisi khayaalo mein kho jaati ho."

"Aisa kuch nahi hai. Ab tum karoge yeh decoration ka kaam." Naira said and sat on the couch wrapping all the gifts.

Soon the decoration was done and Keerti and Naksh were about to arrive anytime soon. The door clicked open, and Keerti stood in awe, looking at the whole house decorated.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!" They all sang as they walked out.

"Aap sabko pata tha?" She asked back.

"Haan, kaise humari gudiya rani ka birthday bhool jaaye." Rajshri said cupping her cheek as she smiled.

"Yeh plan tha kiska?"

"Humara!" Kartik said pointing at Naira too. Naira looked at him and whispered,

"Idea kisi ka, credit kisi ka! Bhalai ka toh zamana hi nahi hai." Naira spoke.

"Arrey toh kiya toh saath mein na sab. Main kya tum kya, hai toh ek baat."

"Aise kaise?"

"Dost hai hum, yaad hai?"

"Haan pata nahi kaunsi ghadi thi woh jab dosti ki thi." Naira chuckled.

"Life changing moment for you." Kartik smiled at her.

"Toh iss wajah se aaye thhe tum subah! Kya bahana banaya tha kartik." Keerti laughed while the others joined her

"Chalo cake cutting karte hai." They all went and celebrated her birthday.
