At night,

Preeta was sitting on bed nervously fidgeting her fingers,

Preeta(looking at the washroom door) - oh god kaise batau Karan ko!kahin wo gussa hogye to!kahin unhone mujhe ghar se hi nikal diya to!kya karu kya karu...please bhagwaan ji shakti dedo mujhe thodu si!

She heard washroom door opening and composed herself,

Karan came out of the washroom and looked at her who was already looking at him nervously,he raised his eyebrows and started setting his pillows,

Preeta was looking at him trying to start a way to talk,

Karan - kuch bolna hai Preeta?

Preeta(startled) - ha...ha kya?

Karan - kuch bolna chahti ho?

She nervously nodded in no then in yes,

Karan(sighs) - mtlb kuch baat hai!right!

She gulped and nodded,

Karan(sat on bed) - batao!kya baat krni hai?

Preeta - Karan wo mujhe aapko kuch batana hai!

Karan - ha bolo!

Preeta - lekin...aap...aap promise karo ki mujhe daatoge nahi aur gussa bhi nahi karoge!

Karan(raised his eyebrows) - aisi kya baat hai?

Preeta - aap pehle promise karona!

Karan - tum batao to pehle!kya hogya?

Preeta(looks down) - wo...wo mujhe aapko ek aisi cheez batani hai jo...jo bahot jyada serious hai!

Karan - kya baat hogyi hai Preeta?sab theek to hai?

Preeta - wo...wo...shaadi se pehle!I mean shaadi ke kuch din pehle...wo...

Karan(held her hand) - bata skti ho tum mujhe!trust me!batao!

Preeta - aapko to pata hai mera Raghuveer Arora ke saath kaisa relation hai!

He nodded,

Preeta - to jis din aapne mujhe gundo se bachaya tha..ussi din mera unke saath jhagra hogya tha...aur uske baad mai club chali gayi thi...akele!

Karan looked at her being startled as he knew what she was leading to,

Karan(mind) - nahi Preeta please...ye baat mat karo...mai...mai kaise chupaau tumse sab!

Preeta - aur club jaake maine bahot jyada drink krli!uske baad mujhe kuch yaad nahi...lekin...(looks down in tears) jab...jab mai agli subah uthi tab...tab mai ussi club ke ek room me thi...b..bed par...wo bhi...(gulped) without clothes!

Karan looked away not able to see her tears,

Preeta - mujhe kuch yaad nahi ki maine wo raat kiske saath spend ki!nahi yaad kon tha..aur kya hua tha!

Preeta - trust me...maine kuch jaan bujh kar nahi kiya!mujhe pata bhi nahi tha mai kya kar rahi hu...aur kiske saath!(looks down) I am sorry!

Karan looked at her,he was surprised as he didn't expect her to tell him these things,

Karan - Preeta tum....

Preeta - mujhe laga...ye sab aapka jaanna jaruri hai!aap meri pati ho...to aapka haq banta hai ki aap ye sab jaano!lekin please mujhpar gussa mat karna...maine kuch jaan bujh kar nahi kiya!please!

He looked at her with tears of guilt,not able to control he just stood and went out of the room slamming the door,she flinched and misunderstood the situation,

Preeta - iska...iska mtlb wo mujhse gussa hai!oh god!ab mai kya karu!(looks down in tears)

On terrace,

Karan ran to the terrace and started punching on the wall,he sighed heavily and sat on the bench,

Karan startled and looked up,his eyes widened seeing Rohit standing there with a damn shocked face,

Karan gulped,Rohit came towards him,

Rohit(loudly) - wo aap the jisne....

Karan - dheere bol!kya kar raha hai!

Rohit(composed himself) - wo aap the jo Pree ke saath club me...uss raat...

Karan looked down and nodded,

Rohit - dammit bhai aapne mujhe ye pehle kyu nahi bataya?

Karan - kya?kya batata ki mai teri best friend ke saath raat bitaa kar aaya hu jab wo drunk thi...aur usse kuch yaad hi nahi hai!

Rohit - bhai aapne...aapne aisa kyu?wo drunk thi aur aapne uske saath....

Karan - maine uska use nahi kiya Rohit!mai kisi ladki ko use krne ke baare me soch bhi nahi skta...lekin....

Rohit - lekin kya bhai?aapne uske saath ek raat bitaai jab wo apne hosh me nahi thi!

Karan - are hogyi glti!I...I just lost my control!

Rohit - bhai...(Karan narrates him whatever happened) lekin bhai Preeta...usse ab sach kyu nahi....

Karan - mujhme himmat nahi hai Rohit!mai..mai usse nahi bata skta!

Rohit - lekin ye to galat hoga na bhai!

Karan - mai zindagi bhar usse nahi chupaane waala...shi wakt aate hi bata dunga!lekin tu bhi promise kar...jab tak mai usse nahi batata kuch...tu iss chiz ka zikr bhi nahi karega uske saamne!

Rohit nodded,

Rohit - par bata dena bhai!wo...wo bahot ghabraai hui hai iss chiz ko lekar!

Karan - hmm...aur sun Ahaan ko bhi mat batana!

Rohit nodded and left downstairs,Karan sighed and went to his room,

He entered and sat Preeta sleeping cuddling to the pillow,

He went near and covered her with duvet and slept beside her.

Next morning,

Everyone was having breakfast when Preeta came down,

She looked at Karan who was quietly sitting and eating,while Ahaan and Rohit were talking,

Rohit - are Pree aana!

Preeta smiled lightly and nodded,Karan looked at her,

She sat beside Ahaan and started eating glancing at Karan,

Ahaan - kya baat hai Preeta?itni shaant kyu ho?

Preeta - nahi kuch nahi!

Ahaan - Karan..kahi tune isse daanta to nahi?

Karan was about to say but Preeta interrupted,

Preeta - nahi Ahaan bhai aisi koi baat nahi hai!mai theek hu!

Ahaan smiled and nodded,after sometime Ahaan and Rohit went upstairs,

Karan was also about to go when Preeta held his hand,he looked at her while she was having little tears in her eyes,

Karan - kya hua Preeta?

Preeta - aap...aap mujhse naaraz hai?

Karan - nahi...mai kyu tumse naaraz hounga?

Preeta - kal maine aapko jo bataya usse lekar....

Karan sighed and cupped her face wiping her tears,

Karan - mai bilkul naaraz nahi hu!jo tumne bataya...mai uske baare me bilkul bhi nahi soch raha hu!waise bhi ho hogya so hogya!bhul jaao..hmm?

Preeta(cutely) - aap pkka naaraz nahi hai?

Karan(smiled) - nahi baba!

Preeta - sachi?

Karan(kissed her forehead) - muchi!happy?

Preeta smiled and nodded,she wiped her tears and hugged him,he smiled.

Karan(caressing her hairs) - kya baat hai madam...aap to Mr Mafia se bahot darti thi...aur aajkal itne hugs?

Preeta - ha kyuki mujhe ab pata hai ki Mr Mafia bahot ache hai!sbse ache!

He smiled and broke the hug,

Karan - jaao aaram karo!mujhe bhi kaam hai!

Preeta nodded and went upstairs,

Karan(mind) - I am so sorry Preeta!please mujhe maaf kardena!mai tumse ye nahi chupaana chahta lekin...wakt aane par bata dunga!(sighed)

After sometime,

Preeran Ahaan and Rohit were in hall,Preeta dragged Karan Ahaan for playing with them,

Preeta - dekhna Mr Mafia ye carrom ki game to mai hi jitungi!

Ahaan(nudges her) - hum...hum...ek team me hai hum!

Preeta - ha mtlb hum hi jeetenge!

Rohit - oye Preetu papitu...Karan bhai se jeetna bahot mushkil hai!

Preeta(hits him with pillow) - don't call me that!

Karan and Ahaan looked at each other and burst into laughter,

Karan/Ahaan(hified) - Preetu papitu!(laughing)

Rohit - aww....mela papitu gussa hogya!

Preeta - Rohit mai tera murder kardungi!chup karja!stop giving me typical names!

Rohit - oye tune mujhe duffer kaise bola!

Rohit/Preeta - Youuuuu!

Ahaan/Karan - shut up!chup hojaao dono!

Both startled and looked at them,

Karan - kya kabse lade jaa rahe ho dono!chup hojaao!

Ahaan - bache ho kya!

Rohit/Preeta - iski glti hai!

Karan glared them, both kept their fingers on their lip,

Door bell rang,

Ahaan - iss wakt kon aaya hoga!

Rohit - mai dekhta hu!

He went and opened the door,

Rohit - dolly aunty aap!

Dolly - O hello ji puttar ji!ki haal chaal?

Rohit - ab tak to theek hi hai!

Ahaan - Rohit! kaise aana hua aunty?

Dolly - wo ji puttar...mera bhatija pehle baat Mumbai aaya hai...to socha tum logo se milwaadu...aakhir padosi padosi milna chahiye na!

All smiled fakely and nodded,

Preeta(lowly) - ye aisi hai to inka bhatija kaisa hoga!siyaapa rabba siyaapa!

Trio chuckled,

Dolly - oh ji Aman puttar aaja!

Koyi na jaane kthon aaya hai tu
Sabke dilon wich ho gayi kukkad koon

A boy came towards the entrance wearing goggles and a breathtaking smile,

He stopped at the entrance and looked at them with a smile on his face,

He removed his goggles, Preeta widened her eyes seeing him,she froze for a moment,

Karan looked at Preeta and wide his eyes seeing her drooling over the boy,

Aman - hello everyone!

Aenu vehe jeh kudiyan toh kehndi

Preeta(shouting) - oh my god!oh my god!

Karan Ahaan and Rohit looked at her being startled while she was jumping in happiness,

Preeta - omgggg....I can't believe this! Aap...aap to...omg!

Aman smiled,

Rohit - Pree kya hua?

Preeta - Rohit...ye...ye wo...omg!

Ahaan - are aage to bolo!

She ran towards him and hugged him tightly,Karan widened his eyes and glared her,

She broke the hug and looked at him happily jumping,

Aman - oh okay!Hi...Aman Rathore!(forwarded his hand)

Karan(shaking hand forcefully) - Karan Luthra!

Aman met with Ahaan and Rohit too,

Rohit - ohkayyyy...so aap hai Aman Rathore jiske songs par Pree din bhar vibe krti rehti hai!

Preeta smiled widely,

Aman - okay...mujhe nahi pata tha aap meri itni badi fan hai!

Preeta - are bahot bahot bahot badi fan hu!I am so happy meeting you!

Karan(murmurs) - itni bhi kya khushi ho rahi hai isse!

Ahaan listened him and giggled,

Aman - hmm..so Preeta...(forwards his hand) friends?

Preeta(held his hand and smiled) - friends!

Karan looked at their hands and glared Aman,he pulled Preeta back,

Karan - I guess tum thak gaye hoge!tumhe ghar jaana chahiye!

Aman - ya actually!okay Preeta see you soon!

Preeta smiled widely and nodded,Aman and Dolly left,

Preeta - oh my god! Aman Rathore hamare neighborhood me rehta hai! I am so happy!yay!(went to her room smiling widely)

Karan looked at her going and narrowed his eyes,

Ahaan and Rohit looked at him and smiled teasingly,they kept their elbow on either side of his shoulder,

Ahaan - kya hua Karan bada ukhra ukhra sa lag raha hai!

Rohit - ha bhai...aapko Aman pasand nahi aaya kya?

Karan - uss bandar me pasand krne layak hai kya?

Ahaan/Rohit - par Preeta ko to wo bahot pasand hai!

Karan(jerks their hands) - kyuki wo dumbo pagal hai!aur kuch nahi!hatto dono!

He leaves towards room hurriedly, both giggled seeing him,

Preeran room,

Preeta was sitting on bed scrolling on phone,Karan entered and saw her,

She looked up and smiled and then again got busy in phone,

Karan clears his throat gaining her attention,

Preeta - kya hua?aapko kuch kehna hai?

Karan - amm haa...wo...actually....

Preeta - boliye!

Karan - wo Preeta mai kya keh raha tha..(sits beside her) ab kyuki hamari shaadi hogyi hai...and hume puri zindagi saath hi bitaani hai to...wo...kyu na hum hamare rishte ko thora aage badhaaye!

Preeta choked and looked at him with wide eyes,

Karan - no no no...dumbo wo mtlb nahi hai mera! I mean hum dosti se to suruaat kar skte haina!

Preeta sighed,

Preeta - oh yeh mtlb!mai to dar hi gayi thi!

Karan - to hum dost to ban...

Preeta - hum friends nahi hai kya?

Karan - hai?

Preeta nodded,

Karan(forwards his hand) - so friends!

She smiled and instead hugged him,

Preeta - forever!

He smiled and hugged her back,she kissed his cheek and left downstairs,

He kept his hand on his cheek and smiled unknowingly looking at the door.
