Its been a few days since Preeta got discharged,she hasn't recovered totally yet, and the boys were full in charge of her care, especially Karan,

They looked at her being startled,

Preeta(hits him) - areee...kal Christmas hai to kuch party to hogi na!

Karan(mimics her) - party to hogi na! Tuti taang lekar party karni hai tumhe!

Preeta(puppy face) - please Karan..please...jyada badi party nahi...bas hum sab milke thoru sa celebrate kr lenge...(pokes in his arms) please please...pretty please!

Karan looks at her and melts seeing her face,and sighs,

Ahaan/Rohit(murmurs) - pighal gaya!

Karan - fine fine...jo karna hai karo...par abhi tum rest karogi!come on!

He stood,she forwards her both hands signing him to pick her up,he picked her up in his arms,

Preeta - Rohit kal party me Aman ko bhi bulana yaad se!

Karan scowled and glared her,

Preeta(innocently) - what?

He narrows his eyes and nodded in no,

Preeta(teasingly) - jealous jealous!

Karan - chup hojaao warna yahi fek dunga!

She pouts and rests her head on his chest,he smiled.

Next Day

Ahaan and Rohit were in hall ordering snacks for dinner,Karan too came to them,

Karan - aur bhai...madam ka kehlaaya sab hogaya?

She pouts and stand down holding his shoulder,both went in room,

She again tried to walk and took few steps ahead,she started walking without support,Karan smiled seeing her,

She was about to fall but he rushed and held her properly,both fell on ground with her above him,

They looked at each other lostly, keeping an eye contact,his hands were on his waist while her hands were on his chest,

Her hairs were falling on his face blocking his view,so he leaned forward and tucked her hair strands behind her ear,

Karan entered the room and saw it empty,

Preeta(from inside washroom) - aayi do min!

He sighs and starts scrolling his phone, door knob clicked,Preeta came outside,

He looked up at her and was mesmerized by her look,

She saw him staring her intensely and gulped nervously,

He came back to senses and looked away,

Karan - ha...haa?

He went to the cupboard and took put a box and sat beside her on bed,

Preeta(excitedly) - ye kya hai? Christmas gift?

Karan - amm..kind of yes!

Karan - its ok..mujhe kuch chahiye bhi nahi !dikhaau ab?

She nodded excitedly,
