"BACAO"

he recognised the voice and got alerted. he instantly raced towards the voice and was shocked to see a bear like creature forwards towards nandini.  a form of scaredness, worriedness and anger rushed through prithvi.

"Choro usse" shouted prithvi and as the bear turned towards him, Nandini looked at the source of voice who came to her rescue. As she saw him, the question arrised in her mind was 'kya surya mere liye aaya hai?'

the bear moved its focus from nandini to prithvi who draw out his sword and got in a fight stance. nandini was shocked to see him fighting for her. few hours, it was him to play a scary prank on her and now he was protecting her.

the bear pounced towards prithvi roaring. he managed to dive roll and dived towards the left side. nandini got worried and shouted his name thinking if he got hurt. the bear turned and roared loudly. it's voice echoed through the forest. the bear forwarded towards prithvi. using its claw, the bear attacked prithvi only to get blocked by his sword. but before he could do anything else, the bear attacked with its second arm and injured prithvi.

"SURYA" shouted scared and worried nandini seeing him injured.

the sword fall off from his hand and he stumbled back. As the bear forwarded towards prithvi, nandini saw his sword on the ground. she picked it up and stabbed the bear from behind injuring it. As the bear groaned with the pain, prithvi picked up some dust and sprayed it in its eyes making it blind. seeing an opportunity, he grabbed nandini's hand and both rushed from there. though feeling pain, he kept running ignoring it but the pain bring halt to his run and he fall on the ground. nandini instantly held his side.

"surya tum theek ho" asked a worried nandini. prithvi took a heavy breath.

"haa nandini mai theek, hume chalna hoga (trying to get up) aaaaa" he fall on the ground.

"chup, bilkul theek nahi ho tum. itni chot lagi hai aur." scolded nandini but a loud roar echoed stopping their conversation and making them look towards the source of direction.

"hume chalna hoga" she made him stand and put his hand over her shoulder. prithvi looked at her confused.

"kya kar rahi ho, mai chal sakta hoon" said a injured prithvi.

"nahi tum nahi chal sakte aur mai tumhe iss haalat mein aise nahi chorne waali" said a sten nandini. Before he could said anything else, the roaring and growling sounds bring a halt to their conversation. nandini helped prithvi walk and they soon hid behind a rock. As the growling sounds got louder, nandini hugged prithvi in fear.

As the time passed, chamki realised what she was doing and instantly departed from him. as they stood up, something changed. something changed in their emotions. they didn't know what they were feeling but it brought calmness to their hearts. chamki started looking here and there feeling nervous around him.

"hume udar bhi dekhna chahiye" saying she started walking towards that direction but was stopped as a hand held her wrist. she knew it was him. it was only him who had ever held her so softly.

"sanjam aapne hamara haat kyu pakara hai. chor dijiye." said a nervous chamki looking down with her cheeks red.

"chorne ke liye nahi pakra aapka haat." his words brought a warmness in her heart. blood rose to her cheeks as she blushed.

"matlab" asked chamki not having the strength to look towards him and kept looking down.

sanjam made her turned. he held arms softly and with a finger, he made her look at him. 

"kyuki chamki tumhe tande dimaag se sochna parega, aise harbari mein hum koi galti kar baithe ge. gehri saas lo chamki phir socho kaha doonde nandini ko" his soothing words brought calmness in her heart. As per his advice, she took heavy breaths and thats when she got alert.

"haa, sanjam ek baar nandani ko kuch jaanwaro ko dekhna tha aur hum raat ko chup ke khile (castle) nikal gaye the, lekin hume koi bhi jaanwar nahi dikha aur nandini bahut udaas ho gayi aur ghar aate waqt woh khile (castle) ka raasta batak gayi thi. usne galat raasta le liya tha. sayad voh phir raasta batak gayi ho" explained chamki but many questions arised in sanjam's mind after listening khila (castle) from her mouth. though he wanted to ask her but seeing her going in search of nandini, he taught to ask later. they both went to search to nandini.

both hugged each other shutting their eyes. with the growling kept on coming closer, their heart beat kept on increasing. but soon the sounds died. still they didn't let go of each other. a new emotion was arising in their heart. emotion which was different to them, emotion which was new to them. though they couldn't hear anything, there was calmness in their hearts.

after several minutes, not hearing any sounds. they finally opened their eyes. prithvi signed her to keep quite as he peeked and saw that the bear had left.

"lagta hai voh chala gaya" saying this, both a breath of relief but the next moment, prithvi held his injury feeling pain.

"kya hau surya dard ho raha hai" asked a worried nandini and held his shoulder. prithvi looked at her hand on his shoulder and started inspecting his wounds. as she looked back at him, her eyes soon followed his gaze towards her hand. as their eyes met, prithvi saw an innocence, worrideness, care and concern in her eyes. their eyes-lock got broke as he held his wound in pain. nandini instantly got worried when something stroke in her mind. her eyes instantly wandered around when it stopped at something.she stood up making prithvi confused.

"kaha ja rahi ho" asked prithvi but she ignored him. she instantly raced towards it and grabbed some leaves. 

"ajeeb ladki ho, yaha mujhe dard ho raha hai aur tum jungli billi" said prithvi when she returned emphasising on jungli billi . she ignored his words. she put the leaves on ground and got to his level.

"chalo utto abhi." said nandini putting his arm around her shoulder.

"par kaha" asked prithvi as he got up with her help.

"davai lagani hai tumhe" ordered nandini sterny.

"nahiiii mujhe nahi lagani tumse dawai" almost shouted prithvi.

"dekho surya agar dawai nahi lagai toh tumhe sankraman (infection) ho jaye ga toh muh pe ungli rakho aur chup chap chalo hamare saath" ordered nandini. she instantly put her finger on his lips before he could spoke anything else. a flash of memory spread across in front of prithvi's eyes in which his mother had did this with his father and in the next moment, a taught of him and nandini at his parents place crossed his mind. he turned horrified at the taught of the marrying this jungli billi. In an attempt to speak, he accidentally licked her finger making her shocked.

"chiiiiiiiiii ye kya kia tumne. gunde" nandini made a ewww face and rubbed her fingers in his clothes.

"mujhe tumse dawai nahi laga ni." complained prithvi. nandini sighed at his annoying nature. picking up the leaves, she forcefully made him walked.

"aur koi dikh raha hai tumhe yaha pe jo tumhe dawai lagae ga" scolded nandini.

"nahi lagani mujhe, pata chale kab tum apne naakono se mere zakm gehre kar do" whined prithvi like a child making her eyes go wide.

" tumne mere naakono ko bara kaha ye dekho (showing her nails) koi bhi naakon bara nahi hai" pouted nandini narrowing her eyes.

After arguing a lot, they finally got to shelter. it was a small hut, probably abandoned. nandini managed to open it. As she made him sat on bed, she started making the medicine. prithvi absent mindely started admiring her.

"waise tumhe dawai kaise banani aati hai" asked prithvi with a small smile.

"meri daadi ne mujhe sikaya. unhe logo ki madad karna bahut accha lagta tha." said nandini. her face held a beautiful smile as she remembered her dadi. prithvi smiled seeing her smile.

"tumari dadi bahut acchi hogi" stated prithvi making her look at him.

"haa" said nandini with a small smile.

Later she stood up and walked towards him. as she stood close to him, she stayed quite and looked down embarrassed.

"voh tumare kapde" started nandini pointing towards his clothes.

Nervousness spread between them as prithvi understood what she meant. he slowly took his clothes off which left him bare chest in front of nandini. nandini didn't know how to apply the medicine as she was first time this close to someone. But putting her nervousness aside, she started to tend to his wounds. he was still admiring her face.
