Some triton are looking for Prince Taka, after that attack they suffered from humans and seeing Taka being caught with a net they are very worried about him.

One of the triton, King Takaaki, is constantly blowing the horn with the hope of seeing his son coming towards them.

Takaaki: "can any of you find him?" he asks the others who kept looking around

Kyiondo: "I don't see him anywhere" said a triton similar to Taka but who had white hair and luninous eyes

Takaaki: "Yasuhiro? Chihiro? Did you find something?"

Chihiro: "I'm sorry your majesty, but we haven't found him" said a little triton with a worried voice

Yasuhiro: "he seems to have disappeared into thin air" said the second with afro hair

This is not good, it has been hours since they were attacked by humans and still have not found any trace of Taka, but the king doesen't want to give up, he knows that his son is still alive and somehow he will be able to find him

Kyiondo: "Father, maybe we should split up, in this way we can have more territory to explore" suggested the twin

Takaaki: "you're right it's the only solution we have at the moment, Yasuhiro and I will go that way, while Kyiondo and Chihiro from that other"

So the four triton separated into two groups and continued their search, and the most worried of the group was the twin Kyiondo who continued to select every inch of the sea.

Chihiro: "Prince Kyondo please calm down"

Kyondo: "I can't calm down Chihiro, my brother is missing and we haven't found him for hours! We don't even know if he managed to escape from those humans or not!" He said in an angry but worried tone

Chihiro: "I know, we are all worried, but please calm down, fidgeting like this doesen't improve the situation, we must remain calm if we want to find him"

The twin takes deep breaths and moves a little

Kyondo: "You're right, my apologies Chihiro, but if I think something has happened to him and I haven't been able to stop it..."

Chihiro: he puts a hand on his shoulder "I know you loves you're brother very much and tries in every way to protect him, but I'm sure Prince Taka is fine. He's probably looking for us too, so we don't have to surrender now "

Kyiondo: remains silent for a few seconds then looks at the little triton "you're right, I'm convinced my brother is still alive, come on let's keep looking"

The little triton nods and they continue to search for the vast sea.
A few minutes passed until in the distance they see a silhouette of a newt swimming towards them

Kyondo: immediately recognizes it "Taka!"

Taka: "Kyondo! Chihiro!"

The two brothers found themselves in a strong embrace with the little merman who hugged them in his cowardice

Kyondo: "Are you okay? Did you break something?"

Taka: "I'm fine bro don't worry"

Chihiro: "What happened to your arms and tail?" he asks noticing the bandages

Kyondo: "Was it humans who did this to you?" He asks, noticing the bandages too

Taka: "yes but it's nothing serious really, it's just all-round scratches"

Kyondo: "Are you sure, bro?"

Taka: "yes really, you don't have to worry"

Chihiro: "but where did you get those sells?"

Taka: "see after I managed to escape I somehow managed to get rid of the net and found an abandoned medicine and found these bandages" he lie trying to be as convincing as possible

Kyondo: "Nobody saw you in the meantime, right?

Taka: "no, no one saw me, after I bandaged the wounded I immediately went back into the water, but I think I was lost for almost half an hour so you couldn't find me" he lie again

Chihiro: "I'm just glad you're okay Taka" says relieved smiling

Kyondo: "Me too, I was so worried that I didn't know what to think, but I'm glad no other human has seen you"

Taka: "yeah, me too"

Kyondo: "let's go now, our father is very worried"

The three triton swim away in search of the other two, in all this Taka has only one reason to lie, he knows that his father doesen't like humans much, his brother is no less too, and if he had told them that he had met a human and befriended him they wouldn't take it very well.

Maybe in the future he will try to tell them and explain the situation, but for now it is better to keep the secret, also because first he wants to know his new human friend better, not because he doesen't trust him, but they have only met for a few minutes and he wants to know his character better

~on the surface~

It was evening and Mondo had returned home after his walk with Akemi

Mondo: "I'm home!" He said to his brother's attention that at that moment he was sitting on the sofa watching TV

Dayia: "welcome back, bro" Akemi jumps into his arms shortly after "I see you're still very lively, huh?" he giggles as he strokes llthe puppy

Mondo sits on the sofa next to his brother

Dayia: "Do you feel better after your exit?"

Mondo: "yeah, now I'm fine"

Dayia: "now then tell me why were you so angry?"

Mondo: "honestly... I don't remember it anymore"

Dayia: "pff, you're always the same" he says, giggling, ruffling his brother's hair

Mondo: "You too are not outdone, ya know?" He chuckles too

Dayia: "Today you are more cheerful than usual, did something happen?"

Mondo: "nah, nothing in particular happened, it just put me in a good mood taking Akemi for a walk" he said, stroking the puppy still in his brother's lap

Dayia: 'this is because you are a sweetie with dogs' he thinks smiling "anyway you are back in time, I just made dinner"

As soon as he hears that word Akemi starts wagging his tail and dazzling

Mondo: "Looks like someone starving, huh?" He chuckles

After dinner Mondo went to his room followed by Akemi, he sat on the bed and was looking at the shell that the triton had given him.
The puppy climbs onto his bed and sniffs the shell curiously

Mondo: "You're curious about him too, aren't ya?" He says stroking his head "I'm also curious about him, I didn't think triton really existed.... especially one so cute...." he blushes a little but then shakes his head "what I'm think, is just a friend"

He puts the conch in a drawer on his bedside table while the puppy continued to look at him, as if he were saying 'why didn't you say anything to your brother?'

Mondo: "I know what you think, and no I can't tell Dayia that I met a triton, I don't even know if he would believe me if I told him, not even myself can believe what I saw!"

The puppy continues to stare at him by tilting his head a little

Mondo: "obviously I'm happy I met him, I just need some time to get used to it" he yawns slightly "but I'll think about this tomorrow"

Mondo lies down on the bed and falls asleep afterwards with Akemi sleeping on his chest
