It spend another week and Taka was almost able to finish studying the book he had borrowed, but he couldn't because all of a sudden he had a certain headache, so he went to the infirmary to be examined.

Mikan: "l-luckily it's nothing serious, it's just a m-mild stress headache"

Taka: "Stress headache?"

Mikan: "hm-hm, it h-happens when you study too much s-something or you're stressed/w-worried about something"

Taka: "Oh I see, well actually I've been very busy lately studying something very important. I probably went too far with that."

Mikan: "It's possible. And i-if I may ask, what is that thing y-you were studying so much?"

Taka: "sorry Mikan, but I promised to a person to keep the secret, I can only tell you that it is very important to me"

Mikan: "I understand n-no problem. But I suggest you r-rest a bit for now, otherwise the headache i-it could get worse" from a shelf take a small bottle with pills in it "and if i-in case you still feel a little headache t-take these, it should help relieve the pain "

Taka: takes the bottle "okay, thanks Mikan"

Taka comes out of the infirmary and puts the bottle of pills in his pocket

Taka: 'I guess I can't read the book for today, huh' he thinks as he walks through the corridors

Mondo: "Oi Taka!"

He sees Mondo in the distance coming towards him

Taka: "hey Mondo"

Mondo: "I saw you leave the infirmary, are you okay?"

Taka: "yes I'm fine don't worried, I just had a little headache, nothing serious"

Mondo: "are you sure?"

Taka: "hm-hm, you know that lately I've been studying 'you-know-what', and I must have gone too far with the study"

Mondo: "so I guess you will have to rest all day"

Taka: "I guess so"

Mondo: "great! In this case we can spend more time together!"  He takes him by the hand and starts running with Taka in tow

Taka: "don't run Mondo!"

~ out of school ~

Mondo and Taka were in the woods behind the school for a walk

Taka: "Where are we going, Mon?"

Mondo: "It's a surprise. Lavender flowers are your favorite, right?"

Taka: "hm-hm"

Mondo: "then you'll like the place I found"

The two walk for a while until they come to a small clearing full of lavender flowers

Taka: "wow! This place is beautiful!"  He says excitedly

Mondo: "haha, I knew you would like it" he giggles

The two sweethearts sit in the clearing, with Taka looking at the flowers and Mondo looking at his happy boyfriend

Taka: "this is very nice"

Mondo: "it sure is"

Taka: "I'm sorry if we haven't spent much time together in this period"

Mondo: "it's okay you don't have to worry about"

Taka: "Are you sure?"

Mondo: "yep, I know my dramatic prince is obsessed with studying and helping others, so he's fine" he chuckles as he wraps his arm around Taka

Taka: he gets a little red and chuckles too

Mondo: "Anyway, can I ask you something?"

Taka: "sure!"

Mondo: "why do you like these flowers so much?"

Taka: "Because I like the color and they remind me of you!"

Mondo: he looks at him perplexed "How does a flower remind you of me?"

Taka: "because they have a beautiful lilac color, like your eyes!"

Mondo: he blush at that statement "you mean... you like my eyes?"

Taka: "of course I do!" He says smiling

Mondo in response becomes even more red and making Taka giggle.

They stayed in that clearing for most of the day until it began to turn into evening

Taka: "it's better to go back now, if it gets too dark we won't be able to go back to the academy afterwards"

Mondo: "yes, you're right, let's go back now- Ggh!" He puts a hand to his head

Taka: "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

Mondo: "I don't know, suddenly my head hurts. Ggh!" He puts his arm around his stomach

Taka: "What's happening Mondo? Are you-" he notices that Mondo was starting to transform, and realizes that he is having one of his attacks. 'Oh no'

Mondo: "ugh, i-it's happening again... y-you have to go away, ack!"

Taka: "No, I won't leave you here"

Mondo: "T-Taka please, just go-ack!!"

In a moment Mondo takes his werewolf form and starts growling at Taka

Taka: "Mondo please calm down"

Mondo began to approach him threateningly, walking on all fours, while Taka, still on the ground, retreated

Taka: "M-Mondo it's me, snap out of it!"

Mondo did not seem to blink as he continued to approach him, suddenly Taka found himself with his back attached to a trunk while Mondo's face/muzzle was almost very close to him.

He doesn't know why but instinctively Taka stretches out a hand in front of him that almost touched Mondo's face/muzzle closing his eyes

a few seconds have passed until Taka feels something touching his hand, he opens his eyes and sees that Mondo was rubbing his head on his hand

Taka: "....Mondo?"

He received no answer, but Mondo lay down next to him, resting his head on Taka's lap

Mondo was behaving like a normal dog, but Taka was puzzled as to why he hadn't attacked him as he was growling at him a few moments ago.
Then he remember what Daiya had said, when Mondo has this kind of attacks to calm him down he uses it seems like something he likes.

so Mondo must have recognized Taka's smell, and being someone he really likes himself, he has become calm again

Taka: "hehe, it looks like you really love, didn't you Mondo?" He chuckles as he strokes Mondo's head

Mondo just stands there to be caressed while he wags his tail

It seems that for now they cannot go back, also because in this state Mondo is not quite in himself and someone could have seen it, so for the moment until he was back to normal they would have stayed there for a while.

But in the end Taka didn't mind that much, even if now Mondo was behaves like a dog it was always his Monsi, so he would have stayed there with him for as long it was necessary.

~ 10 minutes later ~

Finally Mondo comes to his senses and realizes where he was

Mondo: "....Taka?"

Taka: "hey Mondo, you finally came back to yourself, are you okay?"

Mondo: he gets up and sits up "I guess so, but it's not important. Are you okay? Did I hurt you?"

Taka: "don't worry Mondo I'm fine, you just acted like a dog"

Mondo: "wha-... really?"

Taka: "hm-hm, at first you growl at me, but then somehow you must have recognized my smell and you have calmed down"

Mondo: "good" he sighs in relief

Taka: "See? I told you shouldn't have worried" he smiles

Mondo: "I guess you're right" smiles too "but how long did I stay in that state?"

Taka: "I think for 10 minutes"

Mondo: "and you stayed here for 10 minutes?"

Taka: "I certainly couldn't leave you alone, but don't worry it wasn't a problem, I'm just happy that you came back to yourself"

Mondo: "yeah, me too" '...10 minutes.... it's not normal, last time I was in that state it was only for 3 minutes.... not good.... it's possible that it's getting worse? '  He thinks a little worried "Taka, by chance you know-" he feels something leaning on his shoulder

He turns and sees that Taka had fallen asleep, to scrupulously Mondo looks at the time on the boy's watch and sees that it was almost midnight

Mondo: "I guess I'll have to ask you tomorrow" he says smiling a little

Without waking him Mondo picks up Taka and goes to the academy, at that time all the students were in their dormitory so no one would see him, and in addition, in the form he was in, he could see well in the dark so he knew where he was going.

Without making any noise he arrives in Taka's dormitory, and after taking off his boots, he lays him down on the bed.

Mondo: 'now I better get back to my dorm before anyone sees me'

He was about to go to the door when he feels something grabbing him by the tail, he turns and sees that what was holding him was Taka still asleep

Taka: "...stay..." he whispers in his sleep

Mondo: smiles a little "ok I'll stay with you" he whispers

So Mondo lies down next to him and takes him in his arms, noticing that Taka has a slight smile on his sleeping face.

Mondo gently strokes Taka's hair before falling asleep too
