Takas pov

I woke up to Leon laying on my chest. Memories flooded back and I looked at the boy with pity. I can't imagine how scared he must be.

I opened his eyes and immediately jumped up.

"ahh please don't hurt me" he screamed covering his face with his arms.

"easy Leon it's ok. Your OK" I said gently.

He looked around in confusion "oh sorry taka. I must have been having a nightmare. I thought for sure I was in danger. She's probably going to try and kill me again when I leave this room" he was staring at the ground nervously.

I pulled him into a hug "shhh Leon it's ok. Your safe now, I'll protect you"

"you promise?" he asked.

"I promise" I nodded firmly.

"ok thank you" he muttered hugging me back.

"no problem Leon" I said petting his head "now let's go get breakfast"
