27| The Evil Four
** Flashback **
Isabella
No. This one is too small.
That woman has a big butt.
I applied more of the shoemakers glue on her chair while the rest of the class laughed seeing what I was doing.
"Isabella is okay na!" Tayo shouted while laughing wholeheartedly.
"Nna eeh. This woman go hearam today"
"This one na everlasting seat we de give am"
"Make una pity this woman nau... Chai!"
These were the comments coming from my classmates as I put the final touches.
I did it in such a way that she wouldn't know there was anything on her chair mere looking at it and everyone knew that Mrs. Abayomi was as blind as a bat.
She had a problem with her eyes and therefore wears those crooked glasses up and down looking like an English turkey.
Next time she will not confiscate my diamond earrings.
Can you imagine? The woman can't see properly but she was able to see my diamond earrings and confiscate it. The annoying part was that the earrings weren't even on her table anymore.
"She's coming! She's coming!" Daniel who was at the door shouted and I immediately ran back to my seat.
I gave Sandra who was sitting next to me a high five while everyone put on their innocent look waiting for Mrs. Abayomi to walk in.
Mrs. Abayomi was our class teacher and no one liked her at all. She had a big mouth. She could insult you till you would even feel like crying. She was just a headache and she had crossed the red line when she decided to confiscate my diamond earrings.
If she sold her destiny, she couldn't even afford it.
She walked in with her big butt and crooked glasses. Whatever she had put on her head was look like a rag and not a wig.
We stood up, greeted her and all she could do was hiss and glare at us before balancing her butt on the chair without looking at it twice. I smiled to myself before taking my seat and watching.
"Next time she will not mess with the evil four" a girl seated behind me said.
"Isabella Nwankwo!" she called out
"Present!" I shouted back at her.
"You this foolish girl you don't have respect abi?" she hollered at me, "see the way you're shouting and you can't even say 'present ma'"
She hissed and continued her roll call.
When she was finally done she closed her register and attempted to stand up but she couldn't.
She tried again and again and then she decided to remove her glasses and tried again.
Most people were already laughing and giggling.
"What is happening?" Mrs. Abayomi murmured to herself. I was enjoying the show and I'm sure everyone was enjoying it too.
"Come and help me o!" Mrs. Abayomi called out "Ah! Jesus! What is this?" the entire class burst into laughter and some people were even rolling on the floor and holding their stomach.
"Why are you laughing?!" she barked, "Come and help me and you're there laughing!"
"Isabella Nwankwo I know this is your hand work!" she shouted but I only smirked at her.
The noise had become too much that other students and teachers began trooping in to see what was happening.
Daniel, Sandra, Tayo and I quietly left the class while all the commotion was going on. We went to our favourite spot which was the balcony on the topmost floor of the building where we could see everything.
"Cheers to finally putting that English turkey in her place" I said as we all raised our La Casera bottles in the air for a toast.
"Come and help me!" Sandra mimicked Mrs. Abayomi and we burst into laughter.
"It's good for her. Everything she'll be running her mouth any how" Daniel laughed.
"Haha! Come and see" Sandra shouted pointing at something downstairs. We all came closer and saw Mrs. Abayomi running to God knows where with the back of her skirt ripped off. We could clearly see her white undies.
We couldn't stop laughing and mimicking her. It was really satisfying to finally take my revenge.
"Isabella get ready o. Principal go call you anytime" Tayo reminded me.
"That one na normal routine na" I bragged with a smirk.
"Isabella! Isabella!" Daniel hailed and Sandra gave me a high five.
Going to the principal's office was already a weekly routine for me. The principal knew me very well. Of course, you can ever forget Isabella Nwankwo once she was through with you.
"You lack disrespect you this girl" the principal shouted, "Nwankwo! What is wrong with you?!"
I yawned and kept looking at her like she was a news caster broadcasting news on NTA. The job would suit her actually.
"How many times do you want to go on suspicion?" she asked "I think the best thing to do would be to just expel you. And I want to see your mother first thing tomorrow morning"
Who was she deceiving?
The only reason why she wanted to see my mom was just to threaten to expel me and my mom would write a big check to make sure that doesn't happen.
The principal was only after money and nothing else. If she was really doing her job then I would've been expelled long ago.
During lunch break I sat with my friends at our usual table while our classmates would occasionally stop by to hail us "The evil four!" which was the name they'd given to us for being so notorious and rebellious.
We were still talking and eating our food when the new girl that had just came to our school the previous week walked up to our table and took a seat.
Who did she think she was?
"Hi, I'm Tiffany Stevens" she shook hands with everyone except me. I just gave a cold glare.
"Are you related to Stephanie Stevens?" Tayo asked.
"Yeah she's my cousin but we're nothing alike, as you can see" she was forming British accent but she was only fooling her ancestors.
"Yeah, of course" Tayo mumbled.
"I like you guys a lot. I've been monitoring you guys and I'd like us to be friends" she grin widely.
Hmm.... Monitoring spirit.
I immediately snapped at her "Tiffany or whatever your name is, if I were you I'd just walk away before I empty this Coke bottle on your shapeless head"
This is a flashback of what happened before Isabella left Lagos and later came back.
