??? POV

   I woke up to a lot of clatter coming from well... everywhere. That's when I realized today is the day I try out new jobs. 'Joy,' I thought sarcastically.
     I walked out of the Homestead to find both Newt and Alby standing out there waiting for me. Cuz that's not creepy at all. (A/n: Can you guys feel the sarcasm dripping from that?) Man, they even have the same stance and facial expression.

       "Uh, heyy guys. What's up," I questioned, slightly creeped out.
  
       "Hey, you.... are you ready to start trying out for different jobs? It's really helpful to the whole glade," Newt said in his British accent.

      "Not really, to be completely honest, I'm really nervous," I said truthfully.

        "Don't worry you'll be fine. Today, you'll be working with the builders," Alby stated.

         "So, I'm working with Gally today,"I asked.
 
          "Yup, pretty much,"Alby said nodding his head.

         "Joy," I said sarcastically.

        "Oh stop complaining, Gally isn't that bad. Now let's go," he said, then started to walk towards where the builders were.  Gally was furiously hammering a nail into a plank of wood, ya know soon enough he's gonna just hammer his thumb. I even told Newt this.

         "Oh, don't worry. Believe it or not, Gally has hammered his thumb before," Newt said.

'Wow,' I thought. Well, this is gonna be interesting.

     "Oi, Gally! The greenie is now in your hands, make sure none of the others hurt her," Newt told the builder.

     "Yeah, yeah I got it," Gally said with a mouth full of nails.

     "Alrighty then, if Gally or the others bother you, just give us a shout. We'll be there in a heartbeat, okay," Alby said/questioned.

     "Yeah, don't worry. I'll be fine, now go, you guys have jobs to do," I stated, pushing them towards the Homestead.

I walked towards Gally, who stopped what he was doing to tell me what to do. Man, I hope he isn't as bad as everyone says he is.

     "Hey Gally, what do you want me to do," I questioned.

     "Well, greenie, before I give you an assignment for today, let's get something straight. If you don't get in my way, I don't get in yours. Got it," Gally said. I just nodded, kinda scared to say the wrong thing by accident.

     "Good. Now, for today you can help me hammer on these nails.... wait are you waiting for? An invitation? Go," he commanded.

I gave him a military salute,"Aye aye, Captain Gally." Then, I started to hammer the nails.

~ Le Time Skip~

After a whole 6 hours of working (I woke up at 6 am), Gally and I had lunch. We really got to know each other during our time. Turns out, he's not as bad as everyone made him out to be. He's kinda like a brother to me... anyway, after lunch we went back to work until sunset. That's when I heard pounding footsteps.

      "What's that," I asked turning around. Gally chuckles.

      "That's just the runners coming back from the maze," Gally started,"They always come back at sunset." (A/n:Idk, do they actually comeback at that time?)

      "I think we're done for today, greenbean. Good job, and good luck tomorrow," he said while putting down his hammer.

       "Why tomorrow?  What am I doing tomorrow," I asked.

      "You're gonna be with the slicers, I really hope you have a strong gag reflex," he said seriously.

       "Haha," I laughed. "You're being serious aren't you?"

He just nods. Well, great... I wonder what slicers do. I thanked Gally and walked away to get dinner. There I saw Newt and Minho, I sat with them.
      "Hey guys, what's up," I asked.

     "The sky, the roof, space," Minho said smirking. I felt my cheeks go red at this.

       "So, how was you're day with the builders," Newt asked.

       "Pretty good, Gally and I are really good friends now," I said happily.

       "That's good. Are you ready for tomorrow," Minho questioned.

       "I guess, Gally said that he hopes I have a good gag reflex," I said and took a bite of what looks like meatloaf.
      

We all finished our dinner, then headed to bed (hammocks?). I bid goodnight to Minho and Newt, and then went to bed.  But, I couldn't sleep. I lay on my hammock, awake, thinking about tomorrow. What will I be doing? I guess that will all be answered tomorrow. I then fell into a deep sleep.

And that's it for the second chapter. I'm so so sorry for the long wait. I have been so busy with school, and there has been a lot of drama for me. But, I will start updating more frequently. I'm also gonna start putting up my ninjago fanfic as well, so look out for that. Bai!
