Maddison's P.O.V
I see Mark walking out of the room and walks over to Mrs. Hops telling her who he would like to adopt.
Mrs. Hops smiles wide as she opens her mouth to speak.

"Haddie! You've been chosen!"

I look over to haddie to see her face filled with joy. Lucky her. I frown and look towards the ground.

"Oh, excuse me haddie. Mr. Mark here said Maddie. Sorry!"

My frown soon turns into a huge smile as I look to Mark to see him have a huge smile on his face as well. I run upstairs, grab my suitcase from under the bed, and pack what I have.
I don't have much but at least I have somethings to call mine. I walk downstairs to see Riley with tears in her eyes. I hug her super tight and tell her I'll visit her still!
She smiles big. I can also see Sami giving me a death glare. She's just jealous that I got picked instead of her. I smirk at her, and stick my tongue at her. She gasps and growls at me, which I gladly return.
I know that I'm 13, but I still act like a child! I walk next to mark as we head toward his car. He opens the front seat door for me as I hop in. He offers to take my suitcase to put in the trunk. I hand him the thing and put on my seatbelt. It was a silent ride until he started to speak up.

"So, what kind of music do you like to listen to?"

I thought for a moment before answering him.

"I like pop, rock, dub step, and some old school."

He turned on the radio as I hummed along to the music. This is gonna be a good day!
