Mark's P.O.V
I walk into the orphanage and immediately see a lot of girls, and very few boys, lined up for me to interview. Boy, this is gonna be a long day.
The lady walks me into a room with a desk. In each side there are two wheelie chairs. I sit in one chair and see one of he girls walk into the room.

"Hello there, my name is Mark. What's yours?"

"The names Samantha, but other call me Sami. S-A-M-I. Got that?"
Gee, talk about sass.

"So what are your interests?"

"I absolutely love to draw, do ballet, and make people realize who's in charge."

"Do you like video games?"

"Video games are for idiots, and I am surely not an idiot. Nor am I different. Different makes me stand out, and I do not want to stand out. Got that? Good!"

"Okay, that will be all. Thank you Sami." I say with a bit of sass in my tone.

As she gets up from her seat she walks to the door and opens it, but turns around to say something.

"I honestly don't think it'll be that hard to choose. I mean, I am the one you should and WILL choose." And then she walks out. No wonder nobody ever picks her. Damn, such a sass queen. This is gonna be a long day.

Maddison's P.O.V
It's finally my turn after every one had already went in. I grabbed the door knob hesitantly turning it to walk in. I shut the door behind me and take my seat.

"Hello, my names Mark. How about you?"

"My names Maddison, but some people call me Maddie for short." I say shyly.

"Well, Maddie, what do you like to do for fun?"

"I love to play sports, draw, karate, and I absolutely am in love with video games."
When I mentioned video games, Mark sat up straighter in his seat.

"Video games huh? What kind?"

"Mostly horror, and sometimes happy wheels. I also love C.O.D! (call of duty)."

"If I don't choose you, do you think you'll ever get another chance for a family?"

"Family? Why would I ever get a family? After all, people always say I'm different. They say different is bad." I say as I slump in my chair.

"No, different is amazing! After all, that's what makes our personalities."

"Well, then I'm not the child your looking to adopt." I then get up and walk out the door and go take a seat next to Riley waiting for Mark to choose a kid to take home.

Mark P.O.V
Poor Maddie, I saw the scratches on her cheek but decided against it to ask her what happened. I know who I'm gonna pick. I've made my choice!

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! It's 10:20 at night right now so I better head to bed. I have M.A.P testing tomorrow so I gotta get my rest. But I thought why not update the story.
