I'm woken up to my noisy alarm clock. Great, you know what that means? It's Friday. Today is the day that we line line up for interviews. Someone is here to ask us questions about us to see if they want to adopt us. I mean, I might as well not go. Nobody ever adopts me anyway.

"What's got you in such a weird mood?" Riley asks me.

"I was thinking, maybe I shouldn't go to the meet up. Nobody ever picks me anyway."

"Don't give me that, nobody ever picks me either."

"Well of course they never pick you two! Who would want someone like you?" Sami interrupts.

"Well, then why are you still here?"

Sami scoffs and slaps me square in the face with her nails. I touch my cheek feeling blood running down it. I run into the bathroom seeing there's three scratches on my right cheek. Great start to my day.
I walk to my bed and grab a suit case that's been hidden under my bed. I change into some sport shorts, and a short sleeve shirt that says 'Markiplier is awesome, and if you disagree, you get a 3rd burn degree'.
I walk down the stairs and line up right next to Riley waiting for it to be my turn to get interviewed.

I never thought that I would do it. I'm actually going to adopt another member into my family. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love dogs. I just want someone else to make me happy in life. Someone, different than the rest. A good different, not a bad different.
I park my car and walk inside the orphanage.

The man walks inside the orphanage. My eyes widen at the sight.
