The Durins entered the girls house and proceeded to play spin the bottle, eeew.

But now I can find if they have any weaknesses, especially for Thorin.

"Boss each Durin has their own weakness, and you'll never guess what.
Yes I'm going to tell you,
Girls,
Yes not just any old girls,
The girls,
Yes the two descendants and a friend of theirs,
No I don't know where the other one is,
I know you only want those two,
Yes Thorin and Fíli,
Good,
The time is getting closer,
Yes soon don't worry,
Right okay boss."

I hung up and went back to watching the house. We've finally found a crack in Thorin's emotionless shell.

Becca's POV

I had a strange feeling someone was watching us yet the street was empty and dark as I'm not sure many people would be out there at 2am.

Oh god it's 2am, why am I awake, and what am I sleeping on?

I looked down and saw I had fallen asleep against Thorin's shoulder whilst he had a pillow on the floor as his bed.

I got up being careful not to wake him when I almost walked into Kíli's arm which was hanging off the sofa as Libby was laying almost on top of him.

I headed into mine and Ellie's room and got dressed into clean work clothes. Ellie and Fíli must be in the spare bedroom, I thought to myself as I tried to brush through my messy hair.

I eventually gave up, leaving the top still looking fuzzy and walking out into our garden.

There was a tree in the garden probably an apple tree, but it was quite tall and perfect for climbing and sitting in.

I made my way up to the top branches and settled against a U shaped branch looking up at the misty sky.

"Far over the misty mountains cold, to dungeons deep and caverns old, we must away, ere break of day, to find our long forgotten gold."

I sang looking up at the stars as their pure light reflected in the tears rolling silently down my cheeks.

I kissed Thorin Oakenshield... Middle earth characters are suddenly real in this universe, and I'm somehow in it.

Thorin kissed me.
No he can't, he needs someone who won't let him down, who's confident and independent, who will help him not drag him behind, someone who's not me.

I curled up almost ball like and my head rested against the rough yet relaxing bark of the tree. As I drifted off to sleep I swore I heard a voice saying.

"Should we take her or wait until she breaks down Thorin's wall?"

I can't put him in danger. I thought as my eyes closed in the cool early morning breeze.

Ellie's POV

I woke up to find Fíli curled into my chest where I carried him last night after everyone fell asleep.

I was going to look at the time but Fíli woke up and turned around.

"Hello my beautiful princess."

He said kissing me on my nose, making me giggle.

"Hello my golden lion."

I said moving closer to him.

"So, I know this may be a little soon but would you officially be my girlfriend?"

Fíli asked nervously avoiding having to look me in the eye.

"Fee of corse!"

I said kissing him passionately on the lips, until;

"Uh could you two help me find Becca?"

A voice came from at the door causing me to groan and drag myself up out of bed.

"I thought she was with you Thorin?"

Fíli asked now wide awake, how on earth did he do it?

"She was but I woke up and she was gone."

He said going over to the sofa and waking Kíli and Libby up.

It had been half an hour but still no sight of her, until the back doors opened and a tired looking Becca walked in.

"Where on earth were you?"

Thorin said going over to her and checking her over to see if she was hurt, but she flinched slightly at the sound of his voice.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me. You guys have work this afternoon so you should get ready, I'm off there now so bye."

She said in a hurry putting her shoes on and walking out, with a slightly shocked and confused Thorin trailing after her.
