Before I start this chapter I want to say thanks to SPROUSEHART4LIFE for helping me with this. Today we had our athletics carnival and we spent some time writing this. Thanks for the help Em x

Jugheads P.O.V

My eyes opened when I heard the sound of an alarm go off. I tried to move to turn it off but I was held in place by my beautiful girlfriend, Betty Cooper.

"Betty, wake up, come on" I whispered into her ear. She mumbled something and buried her face in my chest. I let out a chucked and rolled on top of her.

"Come on Betts we have school!" I said to her kissing her lightly. It was the morning after our six month anniversary. I know that sound a bit sappy and cringy but I really love this girl. She still hadn't moved yet so I got up and pulled her off the bed. She fell to the ground with a loud thump as I laughed at her.

"Juggie," she groaned. I lent down to talk to her.

"Whats up baby?" I asked innocently.

"Your evil, and to think I was going to give you a kiss!" she said. I immediately captured her lips with mine. At first she kissed back until she rolled away and straightened her shirt.

" Go have a shower while I get dressed," she demanded. I chuckled and got up to leave for the bathroom.

Bettys P.O.V

While Juggie was in the shower I got dressed. I pulled on some black tights, Juggies Tshirt and my denim jacket with white converse. I applied some makeup to my face, but not a lot. Today I didn't feel like going to school, so why try hard? I started packing our bags when I noticed something out of my bedroom window. I look closer to see my bestfriend/neighbour Archie Andrews staring at me. I pick up my phone to text him.

Betty: Hey, you all good?

Archie: Yeah just tired

Betty: you sure?

Archie: yep ;))

I look out of my window and straight at the boy who used to have the key to my heart. That was, until I found my soulmate Jughead Jones. I go back to putting our books in our bags when I feel a pair of arms snake around my waist. I lean my head back and rest it on his shoulder.

"You okay?" he asked me.

"Now that your here" I tell him.

"You look great in my shirt by the way" He tells me as he walks over to my closet and pull out some spare clothes that he leaves at my house. He pulls on some black ripped jeans, a tshirst, black hoodie and his leather jacket. He looks over at me and catches me staring at him. 

"Like what you see?" he asked me, with a smirk on his face.

"Absolutely" I tell him as I grab his hand and we make our way down stairs.

Archies P.O.V

I groaned and rolled out of bed. It was too early for this, I thought as I began to get ready for the day ahead of me. Once I was dressed and ready for school I sat down and looked out my window. I gazed across to see my bestfriend/neighbour Betty Cooper, sitting down applying her makeup. I noticed that she wasn't wearing her usual pastel jumper, but she was wearing one of jugheads T shirts with a denim jacket. I continued to watch her until she looked up and noticed me staring at her. She pulls out her phone and starts to type

Betty: Hey, you all good?

Archie: Yeah just tired

Betty: you sure?

Archie: yep ;))

I stepped away from the window but never broke my gaze from her bedroom. I could see her packing bags. I thought it was strange that she was packing two bags but I thought nothing of it. Until I saw him that is. 

I saw someone enter Bettys room and wrap his arms around her waist. She lent her head back to rest it on his shoulder as he kissed her neck softly. It must be Jughead I thought as I continued to watch their exchange. It wasn't long after he got dressed, they walked out of her room. I decided to call Betty and ask if they wanted to walk to school with me. I wish I could just ask her to come but I know that she wouldn't just ditch Jughead. I call her phone and it rings for a while just before it went to message bank though, she picked up.

"Hey Arch whats up?" she asked me.

"Hey, I was just wondering if you and Jughead wanted to walk to school with me?" I asked her.

"Juggie..." I heard her shout "Um yeah Arch, we will be at your house in just one minute, is that it?"

"Oh um, what took you so long to answer the phone?" I questioned.

"Oh um the breakfast was cooking..." she told me.

"Sureeee" I joke.

"ARCH... I gotta go Bye!" and with that she hung up.

I walk downstairs to hear a knock on my door. I open it and Betty and Jughead are standing there, holding hands. This made me annoyed, for some reason.

"That was quick guys, seeing as you had to 'eat breakfast'" I say with a fake laugh. Betty turned red and Jughead just smirked at her.

"Come on lets go!" she mumbled.

While we walked down the first street we made small talk as Betty held Jugheads hand tightly as she shivered.

"Betts your freezing!" Jughead exclaimed as he looked over to his now shaking girlfriend. He took off his black jumper and handed it to her. She took it from him and slipped it on. She secretly buried her face in it first, and took a deep breath into it.

"Smell good?" I asked her. She blushed and continued walking. When we were about 5 mintutes away from school. I began staring at Jughead and Betty who were now walking in front of me, in their own little world. I watched with jealousy as Jughead picked Betty up and carried her on his back as she let out an exited giggle. It didn't sound like how she laughed when she was with me though. This one sounded real and genuine but with me they always sounded forced. Now that I continued watching the loved up couple I realised, that I, Archie andrews, was in love with my neighbour/bestfriend, Betty Cooper. I knew that I had lost my chance a long time ago, and that she was with Jughead now, but I wanted her, so I am going to do anything to get her back from Jughead.

Jugheads P.O.V

While we were walking to school Archie seemed pretty quiet, but I didn't mention it because I knew he wasn't a morning person. As we walked Betty began shivering so I gave her my jumper. It was more like a dress on her but she didn't seem to mind. In fact she even buried her face in it and smelt it. I know that it sounds a little weird but she always says how much she feels comforted by the smell of me. We kept walking for a little while but then when we were about 5 minutes away from school, Betty began to complain about her legs hurting so I picked her up and piggy-backed her all the way to school. She was on my back, giggling like someone had just told her the funniest joke ever as I spun in circles. We were having a great time until I could feel someone staring at us. I look around to see that its Archie. He seemed to be lost in his own thoughts as he stared longingly, even lustfully, at us. I went to ask him what was wrong until I heard Betty start giggling again, and suddenly all my thoughts were taken over by my girlfriend. 

I carried her all the way to school on my back. When we got to the front doors Archie said his goodbyes and left us to go talk to Reggie and the rest of the bulldogs. Betty tried to jump off my back but I held her tightly so you couldn't move.

"Jug put me down!" she exclaimed.

"Nope," I said simply as we walked straight to our English room. As we were heading to the room we spotted Veronica Lodge in the crowds of students walking to class.

"V!" shouted Betty. veronica whipped around to face us and a smile broke out across her face. 

"Aww you guys are adorable!" she says to Betty, who was still one my back. Betty blushed at the comment and I replied.

"Yep we sure are and I love her." I said

"I love you too Juggie" she told me. 

"see this is why it sucks to be single" Veronica said as we all walked off to class.

Archie's P.O.V

I watched as Jughead walked Betty to the blue and gold room where she was going to spend her free period while he went to biology. I watched them walk into the room and she sat on the desk while he moved in between her legs. They spoke softly to each other before leaning in and kissing each other softly then with more urgency. They stayed like that for a good five minutes until the warning bell went and Jughead broke apart and left for biology. When Jughead walked out he spotted me and walked over. 

"you saw all of that didn't you?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"Every last second," I joked with him. He walked away towards his classroom as a wave of disgust and jealousy washed over me. It should of been me in there making out with Betty. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. I walked into the Blue and Gold room to see Betty sitting at the desk tapping away on her laptop. She swirled around and asked 

"Is that you Juggie?" Before she saw it was me. Her smile dropped a bit.

"Hey betts!" I say happily moving closer towards her. She got up out of her chair and lent against the chair.

"Hey Arch what's up? You seemed really distant this morning." She asked me

"Just thinking about something important," I tell her.

"What was it" she asked me "Come one Arch I have been your friend for like 16 years now, I think you should tell me."

"I've just been thinking how horrible I was to you when you liked me," I told her

"No harm done Arch, in fact it was great because then I would never have met Jughead, so I would never have known love!" She exclaimed.

"See now that's the problem!" I exclaimed " You don't love jughead your just using him to get over me!"

"Archie why would you say that? I love Jughead with all my heart, much more than I ever liked you" she said. Her words hurt but deep down I thought this was her way of wanting me back.

"What if I told you I loved you? Then what would you do?" I semi-shouted at her

"You love me?!" She gasped. Suddenly I grabbed her and pulled her closer pushing my face to hers. I smashed my lips against her and tried to hold onto her waist. She didn't kiss me back like I thought she would. In fact she did the opposite. She pushed me away and punch me. Right on the nose. She punched me so hard I could feel the blood rushing down my face and I could feel the broken bone.

"That's my girl!" I heard someone say from the doorway. I turn to see Jughead standing in the doorway. He walks in and kissed Betty.

"I love you," he tells her. I scoffed at his comment.

"Something wrong Andrews or is your pretty boy face my GIRLFRIEND mucked up for you hurting?" He asked me.

I was shocked. Jughead never seemed like the protective type.

He wrapped his arm around Betty's waist and they walked out of the blue and gold room.

3 years later...

Betty's P.O.V

Jughead and I have been together for three and a half years now. It has also been 3 years since Archibald Andrews kissed me. Archie is now dating some chick from a town across from sweet water river. Sometimes I still catch him staring at me but I always make it clear that I love Jughead. After the incident in the blue and gold room everyone seemed to ditch Archie. He lost me, Juggie, Veronica, Kevin... hell even Reggie didn't like him after that. 

We are now all at a picnic together (Kevin, Juggie, Veronica and her boyfriend Reggie, Toni and Cheryl). We were all watching the sunset in peace and quiet. That was until Jughead got up and spoke to everyone.

"Attention friends I would like to make an announcement!" He shouted.

"Betty Cooper I have loved you for a long time now. I loved you when you beat Archie's face, I loved you when saved us from the black hood and I will always love you if you let me. That is why..." he said getting down to one knee "I would like you to become Betty Jones. Betty Cooper the love of my life, will you marry me?" He asked opening the ring case. The ring was beautiful.

"Oh course I will Juggie!" I exclaim then I pulled him into a passionate kiss. And then Archie became irrelevant...
