Boruto's POV

"Boruto! Boruto! Get up Baka!" Sarada says flashing her phone in my face, "Get up it's 1:00AM and if you don't get moving we'll get caught!" She says

"Do you always have to yell, you're going to wake up my mom" I say sitting up in my bed

"Why are you still with my hoodie?" I ask putting on my shirt, as she looks down her phone blushing

"You look cute when you blush" I say. Wait...did I say that out loud?

She blushes even more "Can you guys not flirt right now? We've got work to do!" Chocho says putting her head through my window

"I'm not one to talk much". Funny joke. "But we have to leave now" Mitsuki says

Sarada's POV

"Are we there yet?" Chocho asks Boruto for the millionth time "No" Boruto says menacingly, he looks like he wants to strangle her, oh sweet revenge

It's getting to him

"Actually yes" Inojin says looking up from his phone "Its in the Hokage tower" He says

"Why would it be in the Hokage tower?" I ask

"Its simple" Boruto says as he and Shikadai start walking on the wall of the building "My dad was so tired he forgot to send security detail to get it" He says as he stops in front of an open window and goes in

"Is he in there?" Chocho asks loudly

"Chocho!" Everyone whisper yells

"If you keep yelling we'll get caught and-" I start before Boruto puts his hand over my mouth "If you don't stop talking, we- OW!" I'm sorry I know it was meant to be a cool one liner but I couldn't help it, he's just so punchable

"The coast is clear, its surprisingly empty so we can go in" Shikadai says

He walks into the tower and we all follow, Boruto last of all, after checking every single room to make sure the building is empty, we all walk into the office and start seaching for the key to the box which is on the table, I walk out of the office and go down the hall into the file office and see the box of scrolls, I search through it trying to read the messages written on any of the scrolls until I see one written in english which I take to the office while everyone else is searching for the key

"You know you could help, right?" Boruto asks

"You seem capable of finding it all on your own" I say waving my hand dismissively at him

"Can't find it anywhere" Chocho says loudly

"Chocho!" Everyone whisper yells yet again

I get up and walk towards the Sixth Hokage's picture and trip over a book on the floor bumping into the wall making the picture frame shake which causes the key to fall on my head

"I found it!" I say excitedly, I place the box on the floor "What's in it?" Denki asks as I get down on my knees to open it

Do I look like I know?!

"Are you sure that's the key to the box?" Chocho asks

"I think it is" I say putting the key in the lock and turning it

"Its not opening" Boruto says impatiently

"Can you be patient?" I ask

"Maybe I can break it with one of my kicks" Metal says excitedly

"No!" Everyone whisper yells, I jiggle the key in the lock as it opens

"Nice work Sarada-Chan!" Metal says loudly, everyone stops breathing to listen if anyone heard him, everyone except Chocho

"Open it already!" She says, everyone leans in trying to see what's in it "They're......rocks?" Chocho asks

"Crystals" Mitsuki says

"Rare crystals" Someone says behind us, suddenly flashlights come on behind us, as we turn around to see Lord seventh and my mother, we all sweatdrop

"It's not-!" I start as they start arguing

"Look what you've done Metal!"

"Its not his fault!"

"Shut up!"

"You shut up!"

"Guys! Not now!"

"Stop acting like an idiot!"

"I was only praising Sarada-Chan!"

"Do you always have to be so loud?!"

"Whatever, you're thinking its not what you think" I say waving my hands desperately

"Are you by any chance thinking we came here to see what was in the box?"

"CHOCHO!" Everyone yells

And through all the fighting, "Um...Hi?" Hima the eternal optimist says

"Achoo!"

"Can you stop?!"

"You can't stop allergies"

"Yeah! It's not like I can control my sneezing"

"Shut up!"

"Stop being temperamental"

"ACHOO!"

They've been arguing for so long, I've given up on stopping them. After we were caught we were sent home and thinking we got off without any trouble, we were later sent to the Hokage's office to be given punishments, Boruto is helping Nico, Metal, Hima and Shikadai are dusting/cleaning windows, Mitsuki and Denki are on food duty, and I've been listening to Chocho, Iwabe and Inojin bickering for hours in the same file office Boruto and I were organizing days ago

"Here are some more documents for you to sign and stamp" Boruto says dropping some files on a table

"And here are some more" Sumire says walking in and dropping some more papers. What is she doing here?

"Hey...Sumire, I'm sorry for everything" I say

"Come on Boruto, you promised to help me out" She says ignoring me completely

"Wait Boruto, you said you would help me with-" I start

"Yeah" He says dismissively "Sorry, Sumire's filling in for Nico so she's my commanding officer, oh! And I can't help you tonight, maybe later, I promise" He says before being pulled out by Sumire, he was going to help me with my Shuriken practice

"Well-" Chocho starts as I realize Chocho, Inojin and Iwabe witnessed everything

"I-I need some air" I say before Chocho can say anything, I step out of the room and take a huge breath, I see Boruto and Sumire kissing in the other room, I let out a hiccup as tears cloud my vision, I slide down the wall and sit on the floor, the idiot, why did I have to like him? I just keep misleading myself to believe I had a chance with him

"Are you ok?"

"Does it look like I'm ok?" I say not even looking up

"Well, I can't help you if you won't talk to me" He says "I'm Dai Haruki"

"I'm Sarada" I say

"Nice to meet you" He say "So will you tell me what happened now that we're friends?". Wait...what?

"Uh, I have to go, but it was nice meeting you" I say as I get up and rub my eyes "See you later" I say as I bump into Boruto

"There you are! My dad's calling us to his office" He says, he was right across the hall and he didn't see me on the floor, talking to a guy next to the door

"How oblivious are you?" I ask thinking out loud

Boruto's POV

"Stop! You're getting soap suds in my eye!"

"You mean like....this!"

"You're going to get us in more trouble!"

After we were called to my dad's office, Aunt Sakura decided to punish us for the party Sarada and Chocho threw by cleaning up her house, and ever since yesterday when I told Sarada I couldn't help her with her Shuriken practice last night so I could go out with Sumire, she's been giving me dirty looks

"Guys can we concentrate on this so we can all go do other things" I say

"Why? So you can go back into the arms of your girlfriend" Sarada says

"Ohhh". I hate you all

"Actually, I'd like to go back to bed" I say

"Big surprise there" She says as I turn back to dusting photos

"Looks like there's trouble in paradise" Chocho says in a singsong voice

"Sarada, I love your team picture it looks so cute" Hima says coming down the stairs holding my team photo from three years ago

"Yeah, we were all so cute back then, me most of all" Chocho says standing beside her looking at the picture "Look at this picture of all of us right her"

"Remember how Sarada and Boruto used to be enemies but are now best friends"

"I wouldn't call us friends" Sarada murmurs

"Thats it I can't take it any more" I say going over to her and pulling her up from where she was sitting organizing books and hold her by the waist

"You've been staring holes into the back of my head all day and now you call out our friendship, what did I do to make you so mad?" I ask as her cheeks go red, she opens her mouth to say something, everyone watching us like we're some sort of telenovela

"My OTP" Mitsuki and Chocho say at the same time as my phone rings. OTP?. I let go of Sarada and answer

"Why didn't you tell me there was a party at Sarada's a few days ago" Sumire asks
"I didn't think you would want to go, you were angry with Sarada and you didn't answer my calls or my texts"
"You could have tried going to my house!"
"We both know you wouldn't have opened the door"
"Forget about that! I was told you and Sarada were cosying up to each other"
"It was Wasabi and Namida wasn't it?, you don't have to sugar coat it"
"Answer my question"
"Yes"
"Boruto!"
"It was before we started dating! Just calm down"
"Did you....did you kiss her?"
"No...I don't know, I was drunk!"
"...Sumire, are you there?"
"Where are you?"
"I'm at Sarada's cleanin-"
"I'm coming over"
"Wait, what! No! I'm not alone, its not what you thin-"
"Bye"
She hanged up on me

"So.." Hima starts as I realize I had that entire phone call in front of everyone, in front of Sarada

"Uh..." I start as Sarada goes red and goes back to organizing. ust great

"This is awesome" Chocho says to Mitsuki, I put on my headphones and go back to work, five minutes later the door bell rings, Sarada gets up to answer the door. Oh no

"Hello" Sarada says with that look in her eyes, the look which tells you she's going to win

"Uh...hello Sarada, I'm here to see Boruto" Sumire says smiling

"Sorry, but we're busy" She says

"A-are you two alone?" Sumire asks

"Yes" Sarada says

"Well, I can help if you want" Sumire says

"Sorry but my mom wouldn't approve" She says slamming the door in her face

"Do they even try?!" Chocho asks rhetorically
