Boruto's POV

"Boruto, get up! Sarada's waiting for you." Himawari yells into my ear

"Two more minutes," I mumble going deeper into my blanket. Himawari drags my blanket off my body to show my bare chest and boxers. "Fine! Fine! I'm up," I say sitting up "Is Sarada downstairs?"

"Yes, now get ready," She says "She looks impatient."

Sarada's POV 

"Why is he so late nowadays?" Boruto asks

"Probably kissing up to your dad." Mitsuki says

"I thought we were past that." I say, pacing

"Apparently not." Boruto says

"I guess we should start training," Mitsuki says getting up "It's getting late."

"Konohamaru-Sensei said he wanted to teach us a new formation, and you know how he is with his new formations," Sarada says, sighing "It's always-"

"-still in the planning phase." We all say

"So if we waste our chakra now, we'll be basically dead by the end of the day."

"In other words; wait 'til he gets here," Boruto says flatly "Great."

Boruto's POV

As I walk home, I start thinking about what happened a few weeks back in October, when we were on a mission. How could I forget when Sarada gave me a punch in the stomach that almost killed me, it still hurts sometimes

"Beautiful sunset isn't it?" Mitsuki asked

"Yeah, isn't it Sarada?" I asked looking at her, is she...blushing?, I'm gonna mess with her

"Is a certain somebody thinking about a certain someone?" I asked referring to the red-headed guy she couldn't keep her eyes off today

"How did you kn-" She asked before blushing, freaking out and giving me a punch in the jaw "SHANNARO!" "DON'T INTERUPT ME WHEN I AM THINKING!" She exclaimed, Mitsuki was laughing at my predicament before she gets even angrier and punching him too

"How did I get stuck with these two?" She said after she calmed down

Long story short Konohamaru sensei found us gasping for air on the ground twenty minutes later with Sarada sulking in a corner

Who was she thinking of that got her so worked up?

*Snap* "Who's there?" I say, no one answers "If you think I didn't hear you step on that branch, I did" I say loudly,Sarada steps out

"Sorry, I wanted to talk to you earlier but you left before I had a chance" She says "I came to tell you I'm sorry for what happened earlier" Sarada says

"No problem, I guess I overreacted too" I say sheepishly

We laugh as Mitsuki jumps down from a tree "I knew you couldn't stay mad at each other" He says "You're too in love with each other"

"Could you stop the 'they're meant to be' look, we are just friends" I say

"I honestly don't know why I still hang out with you people" Sarada says shaking her head

"Don't worry that's not why I followed you, you seem to have forgotten about the all-nighter Shikadai planned yesterday"

"Why can't boys just say sleepover?"Sarada asks to no one in particular

"Because saying all-nighter is cooler" I say putting my hands behind my head

She scoffs "Idiots" She mumbles

"At least we're not as idiotic as we were three years ago..." I say

"...and no matter how many times we annoy you, you always come back" Mitsuki says

"And we know you love us" I say, she blushes "You look cute when you blush" We say at the same time, she blushes even more

"S-so are we still on for the 'ramen meetup' tomorrow" She says using air quotes as we pass by her house "Yeah, see you tomorrow" I say waving to her as she walks back towards her house.
