"Dev, I will just bring Sona. U stay with Rehaan" Priya after instructing Dev left to bring Sonakshi.

'Finally u will see her' his brain mocked

"Rehaan, what hap...."

"See Dev, if u wanna talk about that least important person in my wedding, then I dont have time to waste. I dont want to spoil my mood as I feel like cherishing all my wedding events."

Rehaan was in no mood to talk about her and I preferred to keep mum. I know he doesn't hate her but he just needs time to settle everything. Its normal.

"Why r u not ready yet?" Priya asked Sona

"I dont feel like to attend. Why r u here? Its ur Haldi"

"I m here to bring my fiance's best friend and it will be incomplete without u"

"No Priya, the ceremony will be more enjoyable without me. FYI, he is no longer my best friend."

"Hey, friends can be replaced but best friends are for lifetime. Please dont be a spoilsport. Lets go" Priya dragged Sona

DEV'S POV

I was constantly looking at the entrance and there enters Priya followed by..Sonakshi who was wearing a golden Salwar Kameez that ended below her knees with dark shaded leggings. She was looking so pretty that I could not take my eyes off her.

"Buddy.." Rehaan clapped twice to break my trance.

When he turned, he saw Sonakshi and fold his fist in anger. I patted his shoulder. Soon Priya took her seat again and signed Sonakshi to apply Haldi.

She took Haldi in her palms and rub it in Priya's cheeks and was about to do the same for Rehaan but he told her not to as "I think my body is full, no place for Haldi. Lets end the ceremony" 

I noticed Sonakshi's fallen face but she replied, "One place is left Mr. Groom" and she applied Haldi on his nose and all the people laughed on her childishness. Rehaan out of anger took some Haldi and rub it in her hair roughly and face as well. She was smiling that finally he reacted to her. Their distances will not last more than 2 days, I have full faith in their friendship.

After the ceremony, everybody were sitting and giggling.  Me, Rehaan, Priya, Anisha, Rohit and Sonakshi were sitting on a round table. She has not even looked at me once. Doesn't she remember me? If she is not interested to start a conversation then its alright with me. I dont give a damn to her attitude. 

But then, her phone rang and she left after excusing..

SONA'S POV

"Hello Sona, have u reached Goa?" Bihaag was on the line

"Yes Bihag, dont worry. Thanks for arranging my leave in such short notice, I m so thankful to u"

"No need of this. Am I not ur friend? Have u met ur friends?"

"Yaa. The Haldi ceremony has just finished. I m quite busy and so bye.."

"Bye.. I miss u" 

I hung up the call immediately. Bihag cares for me too much but he is just  a colleague turned friend from my viewpoint. I hope he understands me.

'Sona, stop thinking about Bihag. He is not ur priority now, ur priority is Rehaan and u have to settle everything alright.'

 "Is this ur room?" Rehaan shouted at me

"Yes. What is ur problem?" I shouted with equal effort

"I have told u before also that u r not my guest and Priya's guest. SO accordingly u should be staying in their floor"

"But for ur kind info, the hotel is fully packed up and only this room is left for my stay. SO being Priya's guest, she arranged it for me"

Rehaan rolled his eyes and went inside his room. I m on top of the world that atleast he fought with me, soon he will talk and everything will be alright.

After I settled down on my bed, my mind went into a flashback mode.

FLASHBACK

"Mam, I wont sit with this fatso Sonakshi" Rehaan requested teacher.

"Same goes for me Mam, I wont sit with duffer like him" I too requested her

"This is my final decision. From today onwards Rehaan will be sitting with Sonakshi otherwise we will call ur parents" our class teacher of class II made the announcement. 

I hated Rehaan back then bcz he used to call me fatso and he hated me back. Our fights were something to behold. As I was intelligent and he was poor in studies, the teacher made us sit together.

One day, he saw my tiffin which had Macroni made by my mother. 

"Can I have ur tiffin fatso?" he asked politely

"No.."

"Please Sona, I have not brought my tiffin today and I m feeling hungry and ur tiffin seems to be tasty"

I passed my tiffin and from that day, the  doors of our friendship opened. A bond over tiffin.

FLASHBACK ENDS

I received a call from Priya and thus breaking my trance

"Are u having any problem there?" she asked me

"No. I m perfectly fine now lemme focus on my plan"

"Yaya.. Best of luck. Tomorrow we r going for sight seeing and at night we have bachelor party. So be ready"

"I m ever ready and thanks for giving me the chance to meet all of u again"

"Stop ur senti drama. I m not interested in it. Bye" she hung the call and I dozed off to sleep thinking about the sweet memories
