PERSONALITY Lottie is a lil' bitch, to put it bluntly. She does try to be nice to people and won't just outright be a dick, but (joking) insults are their love language. They're pretty sensitive and will start crying if you slightly raise your voice at them but she's also easily angered herself so yippee for angry tears.

BACKSTORY Charlotte Dionysus Magnolia James was born in Gotham to Brandy and Samuel James, the younger of two girls, and an oopsie daisies baby. Her parents and her sister, Marlene, were normal and all that fun stuff, but Lottie, when she was three, began exhibiting strange powers. Her parents, not understanding what the hell was going on, shut it down immediately, but Marlene on the other hand, allowed her to use them, though only in secret. She didn't let Lottie use the fire though, as she didn't want that to end as badly as it could. So, Lottie grew up with secret powers, parents that hated each other and a sister who tried her best.

When Lottie was ten, one morning, she went to go talk to Marlene and found her gone. A good number of things were missing too, though there was no note saying she ran away. The James parents notified the police, but this is Gotham, they weren't gonna do shit. Oh, a runaway teenager? That sucks. Anyway, moving on. Lottie spent the next year in that apartment completely alone. I mean, sure, their parents were there, but they constantly fought, they did not like each other. And shortly after Lottie turned eleven, her parents were fighting again. Nothing new. Well, this time, right as Lottie was about to exit her room, she watched as her father shot her mother in the head. They went back into their room, very quickly packed some things, beckoned her cats, Sugar and Spice, and dipped, just like Marlene had. She spent a few weeks on the street, stealing to survive, all the street kid stuff.

Here comes everybody's favorite part: while walking, a man began talking to her, asking her where her parents were, if she was okay, you know, things you'd typically ask a child you find alone on the streets at night. Well, obviously, Lottie was wary of this guy and began trying to avoid him, when he kept pressing and trying to help, Lottie then attempted to set him on fire, which he stopped her, introduced himself (it's Bruce), and then proceeded to take him back to his silly little manor where she explained her traumatizing ass situation. A few weeks after Bruce gained a fresh new child, her father's whereabouts were located, and, after a six hour police standoff, shot himself in the head.

It was around that time that Lottie started her vigilante work as Tanzanite. She fought people, did other stuff like that, and also worked on trying to track down her sister. After two years, she finally succeeded in that, of course with the help of Tim. He found out that Marlene had a doctor's appointment the following day for a little boy named Orion. So, they went to said doctor's office, and waited there for Marlene to come out. When she came out, she came out with her son, Orion. Lottie got her attention.

They exchanged some words, Marlene said she'd run away after discovering she was pregnant after being raped by a friend of their fathers, said she knew her parents were dead but couldn't bring herself to go anywhere near the funeral. So, that was that. The James sisters were together (kinda) again. If they ever ran into each other while one was doing vigilante stuff and the other was doing villain stuff, they'd get in a few hits on each other for friendly's sake and then Lottie would babysit Orion the next day.

However long after that, Sammy died and another year later, DJ Kent was kidnapped, so Lottie went with Missy and Kody to rescue her. They all almost died multiple times. Fun. They were also rescued by Cheshire Williams at one point, who teleported them to LA. They rescued DJ and the five formed a team, calling themselves the New Vision Squad. Then DJ fuckin died, which sucks for her.

So, about a month after that, Lottie decided to do something. She wanted to know where her powers came from. Their nephew had the same powers, just blue, but where did they come from? Was it a genetic thing? A fluke? What was it? So, she went over to Marlene's, picked up Orion and began wandering around like a vagabond for any semblance of answers. She had no idea where she was going, but she knew that she was on a certain path.

At some point, that path led her to a town where she ran into a familiar face from her past. A friend of her father, Kevin Newton. The man who'd raped Marlene and fathered Orion. They talked a bit, for old time's sake, even though Lottie had fantasized about murdering him many times. Once Orion was asleep, Kevin attempted to, well, have his way with Lottie. So, they pushed him into the wall, cause telekinesis, said they knew what he'd done to Marlene, then used her telekinesis to behead him. She disposed of the body and went about her life.

After nearly two months of wandering around with their nephew and ignoring everyone's calls and texts, Lottie ended up in a temple deep in the Irish woods. Lottie knew this was where she and Orion were supposed to be. Did they know why? No, but they did. They walked around the temple and discovered a book, when she opened said book, she was shown a vision of illusions. It explained to her that her family line went back to the 1400s, when she discovered that her family on both sides had once been apart of a tribe of magical beings, called Poppets, though they'd been hunted as witches and gone separate ways, believed to have died out. But now the powers were coming back and there were others like her and Orion.

The two were then smacked with some magic and discovered their eyes had changed colors. Lottie's to purple, Orion's to blue. Lottie then had her answers, and took him back to his mom, who proceeded to chew Lottie out and hug her son, while Lottie explained where the powers came from.

A few days later, Lottie was in the batcave, yip yapping with Missy about her little journey, when she accidentally cut herself on something. Oh well, it happens, but there was little problem. Lottie's blood was purple.

Lottie, though shocked, kinda owned the new found purpleness, though she wore sunglasses a little more often. Also Orion's blood was blue too, which she got a screamy phone call from Marlene about. But she continued with her life and vigilante stuff. Then, one night, while they were sitting a top a rooftop, they were attacked.

Attacked by powers they were familiar with. But they weren't blue, like Orion's, they were pink. No, no, this was another Poppet. When Lottie's vision cleared, there was a girl standing there. A girl who she'd quickly learn was named Kyla. Kyla had been stalking her as Tanzanite for years and had figured out her identity. What had once been infatuation turned into jealously which turned into hatred.

For several months, the two fought back and forth, Kyla routinely threatening to expose Lottie's identity. Then, one day during a fight, green magic came between the two. This is how Lottie met Griffin Pierce. An old friend of Kyla's, the two had gotten separated, and now Griffin had found her again, but thought her pretty much insane, so he and Lottie made friends, though Kyla and Lottie continued fighting whenever Lottie ran into her.

Overtime, Lottie began feeling something for Kyla. They began thinking about her constantly, but not in a normal 'oh my enemy' way. And then, one night, when Kyla had a knife against Lottie's throat, Kyla leaned forward and they kissed (idk how to write enemies to lovers).

Kyla dropped the knife and the two stared at each other, purple eyes meeting pink. She told Lottie to leave, which they did. Though they still fought, there was a little more kissing in dark alleyways. Then, after two years of back and forth, they decided fuck it. Kyla, Griffin, and Lottie formed a team they called The New Poppets and if I make other Poppet ocs (they'll come eventually, I swear), at least one or two will join idk.

The New Poppets didn't really do much, it was more so of a group chat name if anything. They went around doing whatever is they do and though Lottie and Kyla didn't call themselves girlfriend, there were quite a lot of make out sessions and mayhaps the smex. Just as homies though it's not gay if they have socks on.

One night, Lottie was with Nightwing, Chastity, Chameleon, and Harms-Way, trying to stop the Joker from doing Joker stuff idk. Lottie ended up fighting one of the Joker goons. Lottie ended up being shot in the head and dying. Her body was found by Chastity.

Lottie was buried and life went on for everyone else. Though, her body did not decay, as she was a Poppet.

Three months later, Lottie was brought back by Kyla. Kyla had done something only Poppets can do; swapped her eye for one of Lottie's, which brought her back. Her right eye was pink for a few weeks before returning to purple. Right after bringing her back, Lottie and Kyla confessed their love for one another. Three days after coming back, Lottie went to the manor and was like "hey losers guess who's back".
