Later that night, we all sat in the living room watching SpongeBob. It was raining.
We could tell how angry Carmen was. I started to doze off when I heard a knock at the door. I didn't get up.
"Someone's knocking." Carmen said.
"We're not home."
A couple minutes went by and there was another knock.
"You should answer." Ava said.
"They'll go away, it's raining."
There was another knock but it got louder.
I ignored it.
Then they kept knocking, getting louder and louder and louder but there was no pause. I jumped up. "SON OF A-" I flung the door open and no one was there.
I went to shut the door but Ava pushed past me and grabbed something off the porch. It was a piece of paper.
"A major rule of scary movies." Carmen said.
I shut the door and we sat back down and flipped the light on. Ava held the paper in her hand and all the color flushed from her face.
"What is it?" Carmen asked.
"Ava what is it?"
"I-Its a page from a Bible.. there's a part highlighted.."

          Then it goes and takes with it, seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation."

We all paused. I grabbed the paper from Carmen and flipped it over. The words "We Want Out" were scribbled on the back.
