In police station

"Will you three speak up or not?" Inspector bangs the table in front of three people who sat cooly.

"Please don't shout anymore. Nowadays heart attacks come frequently for old men. If you go, who will see your family." One fair funny guy said.

"This is not a joke time, Cabir." Inspector glared at Cabir, who shrugged his shoulders.

"You're wasting our time. We will leave this place in 2 minutes." Another guy said giving hifi with Cabir. Middle guy sat silent.

"Oh really! But who will come for a low class gangster like you." Inspector smirked at them .

"30..29..28.. timing going inspector, leave before something happens to you." Cabir said.

"You bloody gangster, say your boss's name." He shouted at them but three sat unaffected.

"10..9..8..7..time is very less...3" Arya said.

"Sir there is someone who came to see you." Constable said to the inspector who glared at them.

Cabir gestured to him to go. Inspector went out to see a lawyer standing with paper.

"See this." Lawyers gave a paper. Inspector opened and read, sweat forming on his face.

"Leave them or your family is dead. If you want to see your wife alive.

"Leave them." Inspector said, three came out.

Tall guy stretched his arms and stood in front of the inspector, "Doing your duty is not bad. But you should treat criminals in a nice way. Be happy, I didn't lose my temper and kill you." His deep voice made the inspector shiver in his place.

He walked out in attitude, Cabir and Arya followed him.

"Hahahah, Manik, did you see that inspector shivering in his place?" Cabir laughed giving hifi to Arya.

Manik smirked and sat in the car. They drive to their house.

"Call the boss and inform him that drugs are safe with us." Manik said while driving.

"Didn't the drugs reach the police ?" Arya asked in confusion but seeing Manik smirked they got to know he did something.

"Manik is here, why fear?" Cabir said laughing, Manik smirked.

Arya called boss and told him, "Money should be transferred."

"So Holiday for a few days." Cabir said stretching his muscles.

"But Cabir Manik has work to do tomorrow." Arya said, smirking.

"Ohh yes manik's love must be waiting." Cabir teased Manik, who rolled his eyes.

"Fuck! She is not my love, shut up." Manik growled at them.

"Manik come on for one year we are seeing. She looks at you with so much love." Cabir said seriously.

"Cabir, you know what kind of job I am doing. So in my life no love, marriage, nothing." Manik stopped the car, and rushed inside the house hurriedly.

"He won't understand Cabir." Arya said looking at the manik figure.

"Till how many days he's going to be like this I don't know.", Both sighed sadly and walked inside. All slept except Manik who spent the whole night thinking about something.

Next morning, as usual, the Manik gang sat near the tea stall.

"Manik your love." Cabir said seeing Nandini and her friend coming. Manik ignored and got involved with his phone.

"She looked sad, but smiled seeing you Manik." Arya said all her expressions. Manik corner of his eye saw her figure in his bike mirror, and ignored it.

"She went." Cabir and Arya said together, Manik glared at them, which made them silent.

It's usual for him, for one year he saw her seeing him. At first he thought she was seeing him in fear but as time passed, he and his friends assumed she liked him. Manik strictly told his friends not to talk about it. But these idiots are not minding his words, teasing him.

One week went

"Nandini what happened, why did you fail in two subjects?" Teacher asked Nandini, who was standing in tears.

"You want to study or not. I am sad to see a topper getting this mark." Nandini cried, the teacher sighed sadly, and held her hands.

"Nandini don't worry, if you have doubts anytime ask me. Any problem you can share with me or your parents right." Nandini nodded but refused to say her problem. Teacher sighed and told her to go.

"Nandu shh." Outside Navya saw her coming, walked to her and hugged her.

"Shh it's ok, next time you will get good marks." Navya rubbed her back.

"Navya, he went to the station. Ma and papa so hate him, how I will say I love him." Nandini said like a child, Navya rolled her eyes.

"Nandu, are you serious? you are going to say to your parents you love him. last time I was saying, he is a criminal , you can't live with him. He doesn't love him." Navya's words made her cry more.

Navya sighed and held her shoulder and both walked to their home. Nandini was thinking about something.

She saw Manik laughing and talking to his friends. She smiled seeing him happy. Her mind thought something, gaining courage she walked to them.

"Nandu, where are you going?" Navya asked, pulling her hands.

"To him, I need to know. I can't live like this. I will be back in Navya." Navya made a horror face. Nandini removed her hands and walked to his gang.

"Manik she coming here" Arya made a horror face, Manik frowned and turned back to see Nandini coming to them.

In the second he made a shocked face but covered it.

"Ma..Manik." Nandini called him, but he ignored her.

Cabir asked,"What do you want, little girl?"

Nandini frowned, ignored Cabir and called "Manik, I need to speak to you." Arya controlled his laugh seeing Cabir grumpy face.

"Manik" she flinched back when he stood up suddenly.

"Say." He said looking down. Arya and Cabir see it as a serious show.

"Alone." Nandini said nervously looking at him, to her height he is so tall.

He rolled his eyes and walked front, Nandini glanced at Cabir and Arya walked behind him. Navya stood far in fear, if someone saw them or asked her.

"Now say." Manik stood far from their place between two buildings.

"I..Manik...I." Nandini's heart beats increasing in fear and happiness. Happiness seeing him near, his handsome face, his muscles, height. Her love for him.

Fear what if he rejects her?

"Listen, say fast, I need to go." Manik said rudely which scared Nandini.

"I ..am here to say..i ..love....her words cut by Manik who glared at her "Don't complete your word, I know what you are going to say. I don't have any feelings and you can leave."

Nandini is heartbroken hearing him, she somewhere knows he won't love her. Tears rolling down her eyes.

"Manik but I ...love you seriously." Nandini said, crying.

"Seriously, are you kidding me? Do you think I will love a kiddo like you." He shouted at her angrily, her eyes soon filled with tears.

"Do you know what your age is? 16-17?" He scolded her.

"17, will soon be 18. Is that your problem? Age doesn't matter in love you know" She asked him with hope.

"I am 23, I think you know who I am too? So stay away from me. I don't love you and never will I. Get lost." He shouted at her, she cried, looked at him and ran away from there.

Cabir and Arya saw her running away crying, they felt bad. Navya saw Nandini running crying, even she ran behind her.

She pulled her to her house, Navya's parents were not there.

"Nandu, shh. What happened? Did he do something?" Navya whips her tears, checking any mark on her body.

"He doesn't love me." Nandini said crying, Navya sighed. She knows Nandini needs to know, she can't live in this imaginary world of Manik.

Nandini cried in Navya arms.

Cabir and Arya looked at Manik, who was looking at the Nandini retard figure.

"You seriously an idiot Manik. Can't you say nicely to her. She is crying." Arya shouted at Manik who glared at him.

"Stop glaring. I know you are a gangster but you are not like others Manik. We know about you." Cabir said seriously.

Both always want Manik to get a life, they know about Manik suffering and all. They want to see him happy.

"Can we go? Boss called me for something. I don't have time for useless things." Manik said rudely, sat on his bike and drove away.

Cabir and Arya sighed sadly and looked at each other.
