Shubhiksha's P. O. V.

            Waiting. If I get to know the person who actually found that word, would certainly never return alive from my hands. This wait is killing me! Literally, I was more calm before on this Idiot, but now! Now it has increased 10 folds! Just then my phone buzzed. Speak, no, think of the devil, here comes his call. I pushed up the green button and attended his call. Before he could say something, I said, "I don't care where the hell you are, but I want your unfortunately handsome face right here within 15 minutes" and waited for his reply. "I'm right behind you Shubhiksha" he said.

                 His voice was too cold for my liking. Right then I sensed something terrible is on my way! But why is he reacting the way I should? Eventhough my heart was thundering inside me to cup his face and ask what happened to him. But my brain was stopping me from doing that and was commanding me to shout at him! I got up from my seat and looked into his eyes which were too intense. "Hi Shubhiksha!" He said breaking my trance. Now it's confirmed! He never says my full name unless it's very serious. I could no more hear to my brain.

               He seated himself comfortable in front of me. His eyes were wandering around but never met mine. Sweat beads started dripping from his forehead which proved my discovery true. "You called me? Any prob-" I couldn't continue as his chocolate brown orbs gazed mine. He sighed and said, "I have got myself into a problem Shubz! My life and my job are at stake. I don't even know what should I do. I thought I would set my life and ask for your hand in marriage, but everything ruined!! I have ruined yours too along with mine! I'm sorry! I'm really very sorry!!" He said with tears afraid to come out.

                 All the anger which I had compressed inside vanished in a second. A drop of his tear traveled down his cheeks. That one thing was enough for me break down. I could stand anything but never his tears. I caught his hand in mine and squeezed it. He looked up. He smiled but his red eyes said a different story. "I have a mission, where I have to seperate Sruthi from Anirudh and..... And....... And...... To..... Make you and him a couple." He said with hurt clearly visible on his face.

                 I loosened the grip on his hand and as my hand was about to leave his, he caught it and held it tight. My gaze went right from our United hands to his red eyes. "But I can never leave you Shubhi! Not even in my wildest dreams. Neither for Hrishi, not for Anirudh. You are mine, and I'm yours!" He said. I smiled while my eyes teared. I held our United hands tightly and kissed it slowly as if keeping it as a promise concealed. We both never wanted to leave each other's hands.

                We forgot everything. My aim to shout at him for not picking up my calls, for leaving me alone, but now everything was long gone. It was just us and our and long lasting love prevailing there. I know that there's definitely something very bad going on around me. But right now, nothing bothered us. It was just us. "Ma'am your order?" The waiter asked. See the timing of this ogre. I gave my iconic 'don't-you-dare' look. He gulped and a trembling smile. "I guess I will take it afterwards" he said and left for his life.

               I turned back to Dhruv to only catch him seeing me adoringly. "I'm lucky to have you baby! Truly!" He said and got up from his chair and came towards me. He kneeled infront of me on one leg. Wait! don't tell me that it's happening. Oh God!! He took out a velvet box from his pant pocket. I got up and the whole cafe had their eyes fixed upon them. He opened the box, which had a beautiful platinum ring inside. No, no, no!! Am I ready for this? Before I analyse anything he said,

     "Together we have seen cries and smiles,
So did we went through errors and trials!
Every moment with you introduced me to a hue,
Now I clearly know that it was always you!
Only you!!"

            By now my hands were trembling and I knew that I was actually ready for this. Before he could say something, I said, "I love you too Dhruv! I want to grow old with you! I want to die in your arms! I just want to be with you!" I never knew when I also was on my knees. Our foreheads hit and our smiles increased on the sound of claps.

"You can't do this to me Shubhi! Not even in your dreams!"

                  Vanakkam Makkale, I'm so damn sorry for violating my promise and I would definitely try to keep that up in future. Thank you so much for all your love!! The song is dedicated to all of you out there!
