KILLERS  POV

My team and I just came from an AU attack,when star sanses were trying to stop us and we were fighting against each other, I was missing every hit on purpose because I was friends with them. Well except for Dream, we were together. I was looking at my boyfriend in almost every fight because it's the only time we can see each other, but the way he smiled today...

It was  like he was hoping he will get hit and die. It was breaking me even though my emotions aren't that strong

Later his smile just disappeared to get replaced with emptiness, I could notice that Nightmare was also worried.

My thoughts were interrupted by my phones ringtone, my only way to contact with my lover were chats and video calls. And as I thought, it was a message from Dream. I blushed when I thought what he could write to me. Maybe something dirty again?

-Why are you blushing Kills? Your crush texted you? - Horror said in a mocking tone and others were holding their laughter back, except for Nightmare who didn't really care.

-Shut up Horror, are you jealous that I have someone to love unlike you? Oh wait, you are too ugly to have someone like that - I responded to Horror with hatred in my voice

-That hurted my feeling Killer...- Horror said in fake sadness.

-Shush you two, what did that person write to you Kills?- Dust wanted to stop battle growing between us.

-I will show you if I'll be able to. - I quickly said and opened message

-W-What...? - I could feel tears coming to my eyes.

-No... No no no... - I opened Portal to AU I confessed to Dream few weeks ago. I dropped my phone, others could read my messages but I didn't really care about that.
The thing Dream sent to me frightened me...

"Killer?
Please, come to AU you confessed your love to me, come to the tree in the middle.
I will miss you after this, I know you will too.
I just... Can't hold it anymore, it hurts so bad..
If you won't come in ten minutes I'll do it without you by my side
I love you Sweetheart..."

I was in the AU.
I stood there staring at Dream who was standing on a stool next to the tree with rope on his neck.

-I'm sorry Killer, it was too late to save me... If I won't end it now Shattered will take control of my body. - Dream said with pain and sadness in his voice, he told me about Shattered. We both knew what will happen, but I believed that I really could do something to help him. I guess it really was too late.

-Dream wait... - he looked at me - can you at least give me a goodbye kiss..? - I tried to trick him into allowing myself to get closer. But as I expected he knew what I was planning.

-I know you always have a knife on you, you're going to cut the rope Darling... - I felt my vision become blurry with tears.
- Don't give me a "happy ending" Killer. It has to be done. I tried to hold Shattered back, but.. he would take control tonight and I can't allow this to happen

-I'm sorry sweetie...
It's not your fault
I love you...
And I always will...

-DREAM NO! - I ran over to him, took out my knife and I tried to cut the rope in half, but he was ready for that, the rope was strong and thick. When I menaged to cut it he just fell on the ground without life.

I spawned his soul to heal it. I felt myself choke with tears when I've seen his soul. Gold but turning black apple, was cracking and slowly disappearing.

I looked at my lover, he was already gone and his body was slowly turning into dust.

-D-Dream... - I barely said because of tears which were chocking me at that moment.

He turned into dust, I can't believe he really is GONE
-I love you too...- My vision turned black as I passed out.

I felt my eyes open up. I was in my room, I looked at my calendar,
Huh? Tonight I will invite Dream to that Au! Was it all just a Nightmare?
I hope so...
Or maybe it's a vision of what will happen..?
I couldn't do anything my body did everything by itself, I heard Error yelling that after breakfast we are going to attack Outertale.
It's all a flashback...

THIRD PERSON  POV
LATER

It was a sunny and calm day, everyone enjoyed it but then, bad guys attacked an AU.
Too bad the AU they went to was Outertale where Star sanses enjoyed the good weather and beautiful sky.

After a long battle bad sanses left the three star sanses in a very poor state. They looked like they were going to turn into dust in a matter of seconds.

When bad guys were back in their mansion Killer quickly came back to Outertale and helped Star sanses, he knows what will happen if his teammates find out about it, but he couldn't help it. In one of their battles Dream was hurt very bad, Killer decided to heal him. After that fight Dream wanted to talk to him. Since that day Killer started to fall for the Nightmare's brother. Dream didn't even thought about something like that, he seen Killer as his good friend and Killer was more than aware of that.

When Star Sanses were feeling better they thanked Killer and Ink started fixing Outertale. Killer just smiled and teleported to his room in the mansion. He knew what he wanted to do on the next day..

he will confess to Dream.

THE NEXT DAY
DREAMS POV

I was woken up by a text message in the middle of the night. I knew nobody normal would text me in such a moment, so you could easily figure out it was something important. I've gotten up and took my phone, when I turned it on all I could think of was: "How I'm not blind after this?!" Because I forget to lower my phone brightness, when my eyes have gotten used to the light I looked who texted me
-Killer? - I whispered to myself. - Why would he text me? W-what if his team found out...? - I started to get worried, so instead of thinking and getting more freaked out I decided to click on the message and read what happened

"Hey Dream! Sorry to text you at 2 AM but I really couldn't sleep without letting it out. I don't want to tell it to you with a text so could we meet today in that new AU on 20:15 (8:15PM)? And don't worry Dreamy! I'm not in danger!" When I read it I could feel how I got calm but also my face getting more hot then it should be.

I didn't thought much about it and quickly replied "DON'T CALL ME DREAMY KILLER! We already talked about this!" After a moment I've seen that he sent me a next message "You're not sleeping or did I wake you up? If I did then sorry Dreamy" I only blushed a bit more and quietly chuckled on his reply.

"Don't worry, you didn't Kills, but I think we should go to sleep now. Sweet Dreams!" I had to lie to don't make him feel bad. I wanted to continue my beautiful sleep and before turning my phone off I noticed a text from him "You're always sweet Dreamy!" But I thought it was just my tired imagination, but why would I think about this? Or maybe it wasn't just a thought? I didn't really care about it and just got back to sleep.

KILLERS POV

"WHY THE HELL WOULD I TYPE THAT?!" I thought to myself
-He read it and turned offline... I'll just delete it, maybe he forgets- I quietly said to myself and deleted my text. I turned my phone off and went to sleep.

TIME SKIP
MORNING

-I'VE GOT NO SLEEP 'COUSE OF Y'ALL!
YOU'LL NEVER GONNA SLEEP 'COUSE OF ME! - I have been waken up by Cross that was probably drunk, or high, you'll never know. I think he spends too much time with some.. weird people.

-SHUT UP CROSS! - I could hear angry voice, probably Nightmare got up too - IT'S FIVE IN THE MORNING! - Well, I'm sure It's Night. He usually gets up in 6 AM. Making changes in his perfectly balanced day plan isn't a thing you should do.
"Cross will be dead in few minutes" I thinked and laughed quietly.

After a while I heard loud scream.
-Goodbye Cross, you were a good friend and partner in crime. I will remember you- I said and laughed.

After a while I decided to get up and get dressed, when I did I quickly left my room and entered the kitchen.

I was surprised because nobody was there, not even Horror, and nobody was making a food fight. I ate breakfast and left a note
"It's Killer, I left to go to the shop. I'll be back in around half an hour"

I made a portal and entered the mall. After finding the clothing shop I purchased a suit and teleported to that new AU I wanted Dream to come, it was a beautiful forest with a meadow and a big tree in the middle.

- Ink had to be very bored to create that... - I said in amazement.

I took my phone out and called the creator himself.
-Ink? Could you come to that AU you created a few days ago? -I asked

-Well of course! But if this is a trap you're dead Killer! - Ink never lets his guard down when it comes to me or other people from my team.

-Don't worry about that! I'll explain when you come ok? -I still couldn't believe what will happen tonight.

I could hear Ink teleporting behind me so I ended our call and turned to him.

-Ink, it's very important to me so please, help me with it... - I quickly said.

-First, what do you want to do, and second, why do you need MY help?- Ink's tone was cold, it was easy to guess that he didn't really want to help me.

-W-Well...- I could feel myself blush - I want to confess to someone tonight...! - I said as fast as I could.

-Only if you tell me who's the not so lucky guy or girl, I don't know, but you're really not giving me any straight vibes, so I'll just assume that you're gay- he quickly added.

-I want to confess to... Dream... - I really felt how my bones started to melt from how hot they were.

Ink stared at me like I told him I killed Nightmare which was impossible.

-Please, don't make me regret telling you that... - I really felt my sins crawling on my back.

-Okay, I'll do everything for Dream because he's my friend. But if he says no, It's no and you can't do ANYTHING about it, and if he says yes... IF YOU DARE TO HURT HIM YOU'RE DEAD. UNDERSTOOD?! - I didn't expect THAT to happen but I was happy that I'm still living.

-I understand, I would never try to hurt him, you've seen how I always miss every attack that's pointed on him. And how I heal him when my team isn't looking. - I replied with a smile on my face.

-Okay, I'll help you. Now go before your team finds that you are gone for too long. But, how much time I have before your date? - Ink asked

-I wanted him to come on 20:15 but you know Dream - I smiled after saying that - I really have to go before others find it suspicious, thanks Ink! See you! - I said and opened a portal

-No problem Killer! Hope you enjoy that date of yours - I heard Ink said, after that i entered my room portal leaded me to.

-I can't wait Dream... I can't wait... - I said to myself and I put the suit in my closet.

TIME SKIP TO 19:50 BECAUSE I CAN DO IT AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME!

It's 19:50! I'm more than stressed, I left my room and entered the living room.

-Hey guys! - I said.

-Hey Kills! - Dust responded immediately.

-Can you tell others that I'm leaving? - I asked hoping he won't ask any questions.

-Yeah, sure. But when you come back tell me if something interesting happens. - Dust told me, I knew I could trust him.

-If someone will ask, say I leaved to make some dusting. It always works - I said and left to quickly enter my room and put on my new suit.

After doing that I teleported to meeting place and looked what Ink did.

-Wow...- I said looking at beautiful wooden pallets with a small table on it that was wooden too. Two chairs and a lot of candles with had different sizes and colors. On the pallets was a bucket with ice and champagne and a bottle of red wine in the bucket. There was a picnic basket. I opened it to see one plate, two forks and a box with spaghetti in it. I took the plate with the box out and put plate with food on the table. After that I left cutlery on each side of the plate and started watching stars. All I could do now was wait until Dream comes.

THIRD PERSON POV

Dream teleported to the AU and said - S-Sorry... Ink maked me wear THIS... - by saying that he ment the yellow-aqua dress he was wearing. Killer started blushing after seeing his crush like this.

-W-Well, I asked you to come here for a reason didn't I? - Killer asked coming closer to Dream and pulled him closer making the other blush.

-Dream I... - Killer had trouble with saying next part

-You...? - Dream didn't knew what Killer wanted to say

-I have a crush on you! - Killer said that with a lot of confidence.

Dream was shocked but after a moment he tried to kiss him as deeply and passionately as he could. But the fact it was his first didn't help him and decided to just let Killer continue what the stronger one gladly did.

When they finally pulled away and gasped for air Killer started to talk first.
-I'm sorry... I shouldn- -but he was interrupted by Dream - shhhhhh... Don't worry... - Killer started blushing and his soul formed into a white upsidedown heart.

-We should start eating before it gets cold - Killer said didn't knowing how will he thank to Ink for that.

Dream giggled - You're right Darling-

Killer could only blush more.
Like a gentleman he pulled the chair and waited for Dream to sit. After that he sat in front of him and got some spaghetti on fork and leaded it to Dream's face. Dream opened his mouth and ate the spaghetti.

-Champagne or red wine Love~? - Killer asked with a romantic deep tone. He wouldn't admit how he practiced, but he did.

-Wine please. - Dream answered having a blush across his entire face.

After Dream said that Killer quickly got the wine bottle and two wine glasses.

-Killer? - Dream started

-Yes? - Killer said putting glasses on the table and pouring the wine into them.

-Are we official? Or it will be a secret? - Dream asked and took one glass in the hand.

-Well... I think others won't be happy to know we're together - Killer said the brutal truth.

-My brother could even kill you for "being a traitor for them". But I think you're aware of that. - Dream said quite sadly.

-I am Dream. But I love you with my whole soul.. I can die for you and your love Darling...- Killer said and after that Dream was holding in his tears.

- I... - Dream couldn't said anything he just got up and sat down on Killer's knees and kissed him.

Later they ate the dinner and made themselves flower crowns. Killer had dark blue and black flowers while Dream had cyan and yellow to match his dress. They watched stars. But it slowly was getting close to midnight so they had to leave.

-See you tomorrow Darling! - Killer said happy

-Sweet Dreams! - Dream smiled.

-You're always sweet Dreamy~ - Killer said making Dream blush, they both remembered that text from last night

-W-Well see you! - Dream said still blushing. After that they both teleported.

DREAM'S POV

After teleporting home I entered my room trying to be as quiet as possible and not to wake anyone up. I took off that dress and put on my pajamas and left my flower crown on the small table next to the bed. After that I have slowly fallen asleep.

KILLER'S POV

I teleported back home just to see all my friends play VR except for Dust who was laughing at their mistakes.

-O-Oh hi K-Kills...! - He had problems with saying that because he was laughing too hard.

When he saw me he got very serious.

He took me by my arm and leaded me into his room locking doors behind me.

-Why are you in a suit and why you have a flower crown? - Dust was really... Suspicious about me?

-Well... I confessed to someone and it turned into a date...? - I answered his question.

-Okay I don't wanna know - Dust was looking at me like I told him that I'm dating our boss which again is not possible.

-Yeah, it's safer for your sanity Dust - I started laughing.

-Yeah Yeah, but you better change and hide that flower crown. - Dust said

-You're right, thanks - I answered and left opening the door quickly getting to my room. I wonder why he was suspicious. Maybe he has a crush on someone and he's afraid of that I had took that person away? Even uf that's true I'm pretty sure he's not in love with Dream.

END OF FLASH BACK

I woke up, it was dark and I was hugging Dreams dust-covered clothes.
I started crying at this sight.

-Dream..- I wispered and got up letting his dust fly away. I picked up his cape and crown and slightly hugged it still sobbing as my tears soaked into cape's material.

When I stopped crying I opened a Portal and entered it ending in living room of my base. I felt somebody hugging my back

-I'm so sorry for you man... -It was Dust.

-We read the messages, even boss did... When he heard about Shattered he started crying... Do you think Dream is happy? He died to save everyone. To save YOU Killer... He would feel bad to know you are sad becouse of him. - Dust words started to calm me down.

-Thanks Dust... I just can't believe he isn't here anymore... -I felt tears coming to my eyes again.

-Killer, I can see my brothers spirit, maybe you will be able to see him too? - Dust words shocked me.

-There must to be a way to bring him back! We just need to find it... - Dust seemed sure of that.

-It's a hard day for everyone... We should get the rest we need - I quickly said.

-You are right, but if you will need help come to my room Killer. - Dust said and left.

I entered my room and layed down on my bed. I put Dream's crown where I put the garland from our date. And hugged my, now dead boyfriend's cape and started crying into it. I couldn't sleep, not after that...
