I was walking to my way the the DX to get me and johnny some gum and a coke when i seen a kid getting beat up by a soc. I never seen the kid around so in guessing he's new to town. He looks about soda and steves age.

"Hey leave him alone!" After Johnny stabed bob eveyone is scared of us. Im kinda glade he killed bob.

"You okay kid?." I ask him.

"Yeah, and the name's Nathan Ross."

"My name is ponyboy, ponyboy curtis."

"That a original name."

"Yeah, my dad was an original person, i have a brother name sodapop it even says so on his birth certificate." I said proud of soda's and i names.

" so wanna go meet my gang?" I asked forgeting about the Coke's and gum for me and johnny. Eh I'll come back.

"Sure!" We walk back to the house. everyone siting in tbe same spot.
"Heya pony , whos your friend?" Two-bit asked.
"This is nathan ross, he just moved here from Colorado." Nathan smile and shakes everyone hands exept johnny who was shooting Jaggers at him. He's so cute when he's jealous.

" hey ponyboy,wanna go see a movie?" Nat asked. I smiled. "I heard theres a new paul Newman movie out."

"You like paul newman?"
"Like i love paul newman,I wish i could look like him."

"Me too!" I said and lead him to my room. Forgetting about johnny.

"Omg, you like gone with the wind and how to kill a mocking jay?!" Nat yells holding the books. I smiles and and nod.

"I only read them about 100 times.
By the time it was time to go to the movies i found out that me and nat hsd a lot in common. Like we both like robert Frost, sunsets, books and school! I came out of the room smileing like an idiot but didn't care. I found someone who likes all the same things as me. I say bye to the gang and started walking to the theater with nat.
