Johnny's pov

I wake up in a sweat for the third time this week. Ever since pony left I been having really bad nightmares. I miss him. He made me feel safe to be in his arms. I walk to the kitchen and grab a glass and gets some water.
"Hey johnny, you can't sleep either?" Steve asked.steve and me have been alot closer now that soda and pony are gone.

"Nope,I had another dream that darry didn't win custody of pony and soda and that pony had found a new boyfriend." I said and sit at the table.

"I know darry will win back custody of pony and soda, he's been working more hours so that he can win them back." I really hope he's right.

The next day

I wake up the next morning energy runing through my body. Today was the court date. The day i get to see pony and soda. The day they come hone for good. I walk in the kitchen. Steve darry,two-bit and dally were already awake. I sit down at the table and stare at the two empty setz but then smile. Pony and soda are coming home today.

We walk into the court room waiting for them to bring pony and soda. I felt butterflys in my stomach just thinkin about kissing pony. I never loved anyone as much as i love pony. The doors open and we all turn our head to see ponyboy and sodapop all black and blue. I look at pony and frown.

"Hey." He mouths

"Hi!" I mouth back excitedly. "I love you pone"

"Love you to johnnycake!"

"All rise for the beautiful dianna Ross." The office said.

"You may be seated." She said and looked down at her paper. " the state of Oklahoma vs Darryl curtis is now in session. Okay darryl why are you here today?"

"Well your honor, my brothers were taken away from me because my baby brother ponyboy got jumped and was sent to the hospital for his 2nd time that week and soda is still 17 so they took him too"darry explained

"What happend to your faces?" Pony and sods tell the stort of all the abuse they got from Mr. Arron and how he hit them every night and every morning. The judge called a Recess. I run
Out if the court room and kiss pony on the lips. I missed him so damn much .

"Hey johnnycakes!" He said jumping back.

"Hi," i said and hide my face. He laughs and intertwined our fingers together. I look over at soda and steve and smile. Soda was crying in steve's arms and Steve was there holding him and whispering stuff in his ear. I stay in pony's arms the whole recess. The gaurd calls us back in and we all take our seats.

"Custody of ponyboy Michel Curtis and sodapop Patrick curtis gose to there legal guardian Darryl." We all jump up and celebrates. There going home.

There finnaly going home! Life is going to get better now

Or atleast i hope it dose!
