Being independent and away from her parents control has been Rayaan's dream since the day she realized that everything about her revolved around her parents. She felt like she had no identity of herself something she can truly call hers that she worked for. Not something handed to her. When her dream finally came true she starts learning what life is like without her parents in her everyday life. She and her closest cousin Sophia move I together in a small apartment. With reason of both of them trying to find themselves and getting away from their parents both with different reasons.
Sophia can't stand to see the Sorrow in her father's eyes every time he looks at her because she reminds him so much of her mother who died five years ago. She doesn't want to feel like an intruder in his new family so she made a decision to move out.
