EMMA'S POV

After a while the firefighters put out the fire but the house and mostly everything in the house was burnt and destroyed.

"Okay guys we are gonna stay at a hotel tonight and tomorrow we can stay with Dylan." Ty said.

"O-okay." You said.

You and Chloe followed Ty to his truck and drove to the nearest hotel in silence. Partially because it was midnight and you and Chloe were both exhausted and partially because you guys were shaken up a bit from what had just happened.

You guys finally got to a hotel and Ty checked for any available rooms. There was 1 suite left and 5 normal rooms left.

He booked a normal room so that you and Chloe could each have your own bed and he would sleep on the pull out couch.

You guys went up to your room and went to sleep right away because you guys had nothing with you.

Chloe laid on her bed and fell asleep right away. Ty laid down on the pull out couch and said, "goodnight Em, sleep well." You said goodnight back, and with that he fell asleep.

You on the other hand, well, you didn't like hotels that much. Your parents would bring you to a hotel, get drunk and then beat you and rape you, but they would always put duck tape over your mouth so no one could hear you scream.

After about 15 minutes of terrifying thoughts running through your head, you called Ty.

"Ty?" You said in a very soft whisper.

He didn't hear you so you called him again and again slowly saying his name louder and louder until he heard you.

"Emma? Did you call me?" He said in a groggy voice.

"Ya."

"What's wrong?" He asks with concern in his voice.

"I- I don't like hotels. Could you sleep here with me?" You ask shyly.

"Sure." Ty said as he got up and laid down in bed next to you.

"Why don't you like hotels?" He asked.

"Because my- my parents would take me to a hotel just like this one and would beat me and rape me." You said.

"My gosh, Em, I'm so so sorry. Why didn't you say anything?"

You shugged your shoulders, and you feel tears threatening to spill out of your eyes. You try to blink them away but it didn't work. You just let the tears stream down your face.

"Come here Em." Ty says with open arms. You leaned into his chest and wrapped your arms around his torso and cried into his chest.

"Hey, you know what?" Ty asked leaning away from you a bit so he could see your face.

"What?" You asked looking up at him.

"It's all over now. That will never happen again. I promise you that. And tomorrow because we're staying at Dylan's house, I'll call over your little crush Sprayberry and ask him if he wants to join us for a movie night, How about that?" Ty said smiling a bit.

You chuckled a little as you nodded your head at the though of Dylan Sprayberry and you smiled to your self.

"Okay, we should probably get some sleep." Ty said as he laid back down.

"Okay." You said and snuggled up to him.

"Goonight Em." Ty said with a soft toned voice.

"Goodnight Ty." You said back and slowly fall into a peaceful sleep.
