Hey guys it's been a while. In the last couple of chapters I got the characters names all messed up. It was lia who kidnapped the others and the one who died. I'm so sorry for the confusion. Let's blame this on my dyslexia 🤣

The rain falls heavily outside the car window. Paris is miserable, not like before. The car drives slowly through the city. I squint my eyes so I can see through the window which is covered in water droplets. Although it's dull and lifeless I can only see all the beautiful memories of mari. The time we brought ice cream, when we walked on the bridge, went to see the elife tower.... I look out the window one last time. The car passes a bridge. The bridge full of lockets. A tear comes to my eye. Mari and I placed a locket there. I pull down the window. I see a figure standing on the edge as if they were going to jump. My throat goes dry. That figure, that body structure, looks so familiar... it's as if I can feel the shape of thier body. All the edges and smooth outlines of their stature.

Mari.

I realised that I said it out load.

As soon as I did she fell backwards onto the decking.

I couldn't help but smile. She pulled through. I began to open the door. But gorilla shut it forcefully and locked it.
I see her turn her head.

He eyes widen.

But my window goes up.

And we drive away.

I'm playing with a ring which I keep on a necklace. It's a small delicate diamond with smaller jems either side. It reminds me of her every time I wear it.With every passing hour and day I still love her.

"Gorilla please can you drive to the bakery I want to buy a Pastry for Isabelle"
He lets me jump out.
I run to the bakery. The rain soaks my suit and my hair. Water is dripping from the tips of my fringe and I can barely see. I make it to the bakery. It's closed but I knock frantically on the door.
Tom answers worry covering his face.
I drop my head ashamed, hoping he doesn't recognise me.
"Sir... could u give this to marinette?" I say shaking. I give him the engagement ring on the necklace.
"Young man who are you?" Tom reply's whilst taking the necklace reluctantly.

I tilt my head up.

"Some one from her past"

I reconise that face from anywhere. I burst into tears and stand up quickly. My leg is burning, must be from when I fell back onto the decking.

The window of the car rolls down.

I blink my eyes lots of times and try to think straight. I pace over to the road. Reaching my hand out I try to grasp the last piece of me that wants to forget about him.

But I can't seem to reach it. It's a sign.

There's no part of me that wants to forget him. I want him still. I run after the car. Rain is getting stronger and I begin to run out of breath fast. I pant and fall to the ground. It does black.

I wake up alittle bit later. I'm on the side of the road wet and sore. It has stopped raining but it's still late. There's no cars, so I walk on the road and I finally reach the bakery.

My mum speeds outside and welcomes me with an embrace. "My darling where have u been!!??" SHe asks with worry in her voice.
"I went to jump off a bridge" I walk past her and enter the house. I feel lifeless.
I leave her speechless.
Tom sits quietly in the living room as if he had something to hide.
"Mari-nette... I have something to tell you..."
My eyes perk up. He has my full attention,well what's left of it I guess.
"Here" he passes me a ring on a necklace.
It shines like a thousand stars. It's beautiful. I can't help but smile.

But my smile soon fades. Fear fills my heart.

"Where is he?" I say whilst turning round to face my dad . He is perched on the sofa with my mum. Both looking frighten not knowing how I'm going to react.
"Where is he!!??" I say with more urgency.
"He's gone. He stopped by 2hours ago"
My heart beats fast. I feel dizzy. I run to the door. But my dad stops it with his hand. "Let go!" I cry.
My dad grabs me around my waist my pulls me back. I yell "put me down!!! I need to find him"
I kick my legs and my dad seems to buckle his knees and falls down. But the last thing I feel is a needle in my neck. It goes dark.
"Mum? Dad?" I whisper.
I see them fade away as my eyes close.
