I could hear a siren singing. I quickly covered my ears and looked to see who was there. I saw Jon and a woman who didn't look right at first, that's when I noticed she was a monster, just not a breed I had ever seen. The woman had blue scales on her arms and legs, angel wings and halo, and she had an amulet that was a green gem, silver chain, and trim. I noticed that Jon was fine, even though he was right next to her, so I uncovered my ears. "Let's try one more time." Jon said to her. She nodded, she seemed sad.

I was shocked. They both sang so well. Was Jon a monster? Or did he just know how to sing? He sang like a siren but it couldn't be. While I was thinking I didn't notice that Jon and the woman were starring. When I finally noticed they looked panicked. "She should know....." Jon told the woman. "O-okay... If you're sure....." the woman responded. "Atlie, this is Emma. Emma this is Ashlie, but I like to call her Atlie. Emma is my mother." Jon told me. I stood in shock for a few moments before she spoke. "It's nice to meet you. I'm sorry if I scared you." she said shyly. "No no! I shouldn't have made any assumptions!"
