Ashlie's POV-
It was around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. We were in a clearing that they had set up, there were fairy lights, and a it was full of flowers. Jon and Emma were waiting in the trees for the signal. We left and sat in the park, sending a text to the others where we are. "Why did you guys disappear like that? How did you do that?" Uni asked, we just shrugged. "Listen, we'll explain if you follow us." Nick stood up and walked into the forest, me following suit. We made our way to the clearing, I could hear then struggling to keep up. When we finally got there we sat in the middle of the field. "And, why are we here?" Tommy asked, looking around. "Well, earlier you had asked Jon a question. And he wanted to give you an honest answer, he just didn't like the circumstances. So we helped him set this up!" I explained. "Where is he then?" Dawn asked, looking around. I smiled lightly before having them sit down. Vines started to come from the surrounding forest, holding them tightly. "W-what's going on?!" Uni yelled. Nick and I just smiled, and then we heard some burst out laughing in the tree. Then Emma fell from the tree, laying on the ground, laughing."Emma! You ruined it!" a voice yelled from a separate tree. The vines receded and out jumped Jon, but he looked different, his hair was green, one eye was purple the other green, his mask hung from his belt, he wore his jeans, t-shirt, and jacket. They were all shocked. "Oh, and sorry about the slap, Tom. Instincts kicked in," Jon apologized. "Wait, you slapped him?!" Emma asked. "Jeez, Ma. It was instinct, you can't tell me you wouldn't have done the same." She glared playfully at his comment. "Wait, 'Ma'?!" Tommy asked, "How, aren't you two the same age?" "Awwww. I'm flattered Tommy!" she smiled. "Yeah, aren't you over a thousand years old?" Nick asked. "In human years, yes." She shrugged. "Hold up, please explain, before I explode," Cory said. "I am Emma, I am the queen of monsters. My friends died when Jon was 4. My fiance ran out on me once he found out who I was. And that's about it," she explained. "Would you like me to heal your souls, Dawn and Uni? It seems like it's hurt." Jon asked. "Sure," responded Uni. Dawn simply nodded. Jon went over to Dawn and placed his hands on his head, his thumbs on his temples. After a few minutes they stopped and Jon went over to Uni and repeated the process. Once he was done he went back over to Emma. By now it was getting dark. The fairy lights were sparkling softly. They asked questions, we answered, this kept going for a few hours. We were having a good time, getting to know each other. Then, Nick started acting strange. "Guys.... Something's wrong, I don't know what's going on." Nick was shaking, he was scared? No one understood what was going on. Then, we heard a dark chuckle.
