Jen's POV-
The storm was harsh, but luckily I grabbed my heavy rain coat before I left. I sighed and stopped running. I let my pale pink cat tail and ears appear. I was hesitant to show them around the humans, but now that I'm alone I can use my power to help me get there faster. I started to run again, faster than before. After about 10 minutes I ran into an old friend..... "Really?!?!" I shouted to myself, trying to get out of the hole, "Why is it always me?!" I finally got out and continued on my journey. I finally reached her house. I ran up to the door and started banging. I heard running and then the door flew open. Her son helped me in, he led me to a chair and let me sit down. The next thing I knew there was a fire in the fireplace, I was wrapped in a blanket, and I had a hot chocolate in my hand. "Humans. Sick. House. Pat." was all I seemed to be able to get out. "Ssshhhh. It's okay. I'll go by and help them. But you need to sleep." she said to me. I nodded before falling into a deep sleep.
