Time skipped.

Riddhima was now 3 months pregnant. She was really enjoying this phase of life though it was really tough for her. No one was beside her except Vansh.Vansh was really tensed for the baby's future although he was happy.Everything was so uncertain! He was working harder than before as his responsibilities had increased.

He started for his work early in the morning and tried to come home early. So that he could be with his sweetheart. He tried his best to bear her mood swings and the tantrums she used to show. He tried his best to provide the things which she wanted to eat.

One evening Vansh came back home hurriedly. He was looking so tensed. It looked like something serious might have happened with him.As soon as he entered the house, he closed the door with a bang.Riddhima got really scared seeing him panting like this.

"Vansh!What happened? Why are you behaving like this?"

"Riddhima I need to tell you something important. Please listen to me carefully. "

"Vansh! Then tell it fast na! Can't you see that I am getting scared!"

Riddhima saw that Vansh had a big black bag in his hand.It seemed like the bag was heavy.

"What's that, Vansh?"

Vansh started telling the whole incident to Riddhima.

Flashback:

A young man got into Vansh's taxi.He told Vansh that he wanted to go to Ville Parle East.As said, Vansh dropped him at Ville Parle East. He got out of the taxi and paid Vansh the fare.He had many things in his hand.As soon as he paid the fare,the man vanished into air.It looked like that he was really in a hurry.

Vansh was really tired because that was a hectic day for him. He got out the taxi and drank water to quench his thirst. Suddenly he noticed that there was a big bag at the back seat of the taxi.He was astonished.As far as he can remember, he never carries such a big bag with him. He opened the zip of the bag and saw that it was full of money.He was flabbergasted.
He got frightened seeing so much money.
He could understand that it was the young man who carried this.He looked for the man but unfortunately didn't get him.

Flashback ends

Riddhima was gobsmacked after listening to this incident.

"Now what will you do Vansh? Let's go to the police. "

"No way Riddhima!"

"But why, Vansh?"

"Because we can do so many things with this money. Look Riddhima, think practically. We need money right now and this much money can fulfill all our needs!Then we wouldn't have to live like this.We'll be able to live lavishly.Just think Riddhima!"

And thud!!Riddhima slapped Vansh.

"How could you think like this Vansh?You are not the Vansh whom I used to know.You are someone else.You are not the Vansh Rai Singhania whom I love! Because that Vansh had such poweful ethics.He was an ethical person.You are not Vansh. You are his imposter. How could you even think that we could be happy with this? How?? We could never happy by claiming someone elses property.That Raghav Chowdhury had done the same thing with us.Do you want to stoop so low?"

Tears brimmed Vansh's eyes.He was numb after hearing all this.

"Riddhima, I am really sorry. I was so blinded by greed that I didn't even realise that the thing which is not ours can never be ours no matter how much we try to claim it.Please forgive me sweetheart. Please!"

"I forgive you Vansh.It's good that you realised your mistake.Now we need to handover this money to its owner."

"Yes!My sweetheart "

Vansh went to the police station to handover the money to police.He saw that the young man was already present to lodge a report. But there was an elderly man with him.That man was standing on the other side.As the man turned, Vansh got shocked to the core.

award goes to
Mr.Vansh Rai Singhania! "

Vansh stood up from the seat and hugged his beloved wife. His sweet daughter Vanya kissed on his cheeks lovingly. Receiving the award,he was asked to deliver a speech.

"I would like to dedicate this award to my inspiration, my better half, Mrs.Riddhima Vansh Rai Singhania.She was the one who always motivated me to reach this height. She was the one who was with me,when I was at my worst.If I'm something today then it's all because of her.I'm really blessed to have her in life.Thank you sweetheart for giving me the best gift of my life, our daughter Vanya."

Tears rolled down the cheeks of Riddhima.
Vansh wiped her tears.The award function ended and Vanya was sent to home with Mrs. D'souza. Vansh and Riddhima drove to Marine drive.They got out of the car and sat down on the shore and reminisced the things that happened 3 years back.

Flashback :

Vansh went to the police station to handover the money to police.He saw that the young man was already present to lodge a report. But there was an elderly man with him.That man was standing on the other side.Tha's why, Vansh couldn't see him.As the man turned, Vansh got shocked to the core.

That man was none other than Raghav Chowdhury. The young man was his son, Rishabh Chowdhury. As soon as the young man saw Vansh, he ran to him.Vansh returned the money to Rishabh. He didn't know Vansh as he was sent to abroad to pursue his studies. Rishabh was on cloud nine.He thanked Vansh for several times. All this while Raghav kept staring at Vansh.He felt really guilty for the crimes he committed. On the other hand, Vansh was infuriated and at the same he was feeling suffocating.The murderer of his whole family was standing in front of him but he was so helpless that he couldn't even do anything.Rishabh told Vansh to call him whenever he needed his help.

Days passed like this.Raghav's guilt was increasing day by day. The money that Rishabh lost was for his sister's marriage.It was a huge amount of money.If Vansh wouldn't have returned the money,he would've faced great losses.This thought was killing him from inside.His health was also deteriorating. He couldn't bear this guilt anymore. So one day he confessed all his crimes to Rishabh.

Rishabh felt ashamed of his father's deeds. He decided to confess everything to the police. Raghav was sent to jail. Rishabh apologised to Vansh for his father's crimes.He knew that a sorry would be nothing to mend his agony.So he offered him a job in his company.This was the turning point of his life.After one and a half year of his job he started a business of his own.At first, his company faced great loss.This time also Riddhima gave him all the support.

In the meanwhile, Vanya was born.When Vanya was born their happiness knew no bounds.It felt like Vanya was their lucky charm.Soon their company reached to great heights.

Flashback ends

The reminiscent took back them to the tough time of their life.

"That time was really hard for us, sweetheart!", said Vansh wounding his arms around her waist.

"Hmm.I agree but we overcame all the hurdles together. ", said Riddhima while snugglimg more into his chest.

" I love you sweetheart "

"I love you too."

The citylights again witnessed their love. Their love which crossed all the hurdles and rised from the ashes.The night started getting darker and the citylights brightened more and more.
