Djinn or Jinn or Genies are real. Or they are not. It depends on one's faith and what one believes.

They are said to be made of something like smokeless fire. Some modern believers have suggested forms of energy.

They may or may not be associated with rings, lamps, or bottles.

But if one writes about these hidden beings, it's useful to have some verbs that can describe their  changing states and association with small containers.

to emanate - to flow out of

to immanate - to flow into

to disperse - to become larger and more diffuse

to condense - to become smaller and more solid in form

to assume - to take on a shape or appearance

to transform - to convert from one state or shape to another

to shift - to change from one state or form to another

to manifest - to take on more substantial form

to appear - to become able to be seen, to seem like

to disappear - to become hidden or invisible

to be summoned - to be called or compelled to come forth
