Stephen Strange's PoV-

It had only been a month since my husband's passing. Most of the time I just stayed at the sanctum, not having much energy to do anything. I tried to stay strong for Peter. The poor kid had taken his father's death quite roughly. When he wasn't staying with his aunt he would stay with Wong and myself here at the sanctum.

I followed my normal routine of making lunch for Peter, Wong, and myself. I stirred the stir fry when I felt a cool breeze on my left shoulder. Forgetting about lunch I quickly spun around, shields in hand, to face any spiritual threat, "Show yourself!"

I just caught a faint sound as it verberated through the air. It sounded almost like Tony? I use my magic to allow me to see into other realms. You may be surprised just how many creatures and spirits constantly roam around us. However, today there is only one ghost I'm interested in. "Tony!" A dull translucent ghostly form of the man I love stands before me.

"Stephen can you see me?" Tony asks.

I run up to him and hug him. Well I try to but my arms fall through him. He shivers as I pass through him. I try again using my magic this time and now I can once again hold the love of my life. "Oh, God, yes, I can see you Tony," I burry my face into his neck and breath in his scent. Just as I remembered.

I feel Tony wrap his arms around me and snuggle into me. "This feels nice, I missed your warm embrace."

"You're so cute, I missed you too, my love," I plant a kiss on Tony's lips.

"Doctor dad, what are you doing?" Peter stands in the doorway of the kitchen.

To him it must look like I'm making out with thin air. Tony breaks away from the embrace and hurries over to Peter and tries to hug him. Realizing he can't hold Peter he settles for a one sided hug. "Oh, I was talking to Tony's spirit," I reply, "he's hugging you now."

Tears form in Peter's eyes. "Really?!" He wraps his arms around himself as if trying to hug Tony back, "Dad, I missed y-you so much, I'm so s-sorry... I just want you b-back here with us."

"Poor kid," Tony mumbles.

That's when an idea forms in my head. Maybe to some extent I could help bring Tony back. If you consistently give a spiritual entity offerings and attention they become more powerful. "Tony, why don't you eat with us. Lunch is almost done?" I offer.

"Uh, you know I can't eat, right..." Tony seems confused.

"Yeah, you could still sit with us though, like old times," I smile as I begin dishing up plates.

Peter sets the table and Wong pours us all some hot tea.

We sit down. I'm happy to have my family at least somewhat back together. Tony attempts to pick up his fork, failing to do so. After several attempts he gives up and angrily crosses his arms over his chest. "Don't worry, it will get easier with time," I inform my frustrated husband.

After lunch Wong washes the dishes. "Do you need any help, Wong?" Peter asks.

"No, you go spend time with your dads," Wong replies and Peter happily follows Tony and myself into the living room.

"Tony, would it be okay if we created an alter for you?" I ask.

Tony seems confused, "Whatever you want to do."

Peter and I begin creating Tony's alter. I clear off a space on the fireplace mantle and shape the alter with candles, pictures of Tony, one of his arc reactors, etc. "This will help you to interact with the physical world," I use my magic to plant a kiss to his cheek.

Time passes and Peter, Wong, and myself do our best to help Tony become a more powerful spirit.

Peter makes little offerings to Tony. Sometimes he buys a coffee at one of Tony's favorite cafes and sets the coffee on his alter. I often meditate over crystals with the intent of helping Tony to become a more powerful sprit and place them on his alter. Tony at least attempts to eat meals with us. Despite our efforts the transition is slow and tiring for Tony.

A warm fire is lit in the hearth of the sanctum's living room. Tony, Peter, and I cuddle around it. I've taught Peter enough magic that he is able to see his dad. "What is it like being a ghost?" Peter asks.

"It kinda sucks," Tony replies, "I can't interact with the world, I can't talk to most people, worst of all I'm perpetually freezing."

"Does this fire help?" I ask.

"Yes, fire is pretty much the only thing that can dull the freezing cold," Tony replies.

I use my magic to hold my husband. Cloak wraps around the three of us. Peter falls asleep cuddled next to us and I drift asleep on Tony's shoulder shortly after.

The next day while Peter is at school I help Tony practice his interactions with the real world. We sit on the floor of the library. I place a feather in front of Tony. "Try to move the feather, feel free to use any means necessary to move it," I instruct my husband.

Tony attempts to pick the feather up normally but it doesn't budge. He try's again and again but fails each time.

"Try moving the air around it to see if it reacts," I state.

Tony waves his arms around fanning the feather. It doesn't react. His blows on the feather and it doesn't budge. Tony sighs in defeat. I allow my astral form to leave my body. "Tony, you need to surrender control, you can't force the feather to move. Surrender to it," I sit behind Tony, halfway straddling him.

I wrap my fingers around his hands and help him to fan the feather again. Except this time I make sure his movement are more fluid more relaxed. Sure enough the feather drifts away in the current of wind we created. "We did that?!" Tony asks obviously excited.

"You did that, my love," I kiss the back of his neck and return to my body.

I help Tony practice till Peter gets home. Tony has become quite the pro at wind manipulation. He was able to surrender enough to carry the feather across the library though he is still unable to pick it up normally.

That night Tony and I lay in bed together. "I'm proud of you," I smile and cuddle into my ghostly husband.

A scary movie plays on the television screen in our bedroom. Tony's almost asleep when a jump scare on the TV makes a loud noise and scares my lover. He jumps in fright and disappears... "Tony?" I call out.

I use my magic to view the spiritual world around me. I can't find Tony.

Stephen?

I hear Tony's voice in my head. "Where are you?"

Suddenly my hands move on their own. I'm looking at my scared hands and I feel my face. It's weird not being in control of my own movements.

I think... I'm in you.

"You possessed me!" I'm excited for Tony. It takes strong magic for a ghost to possess someone. That means our efforts are working!

So I'm in control of you?

"Kinda I suppose I have some control over my body," I chuckle at Tony's amazement.

Sit up.

"Why?" I question but I obey my husband anyway.

Suddenly my body falls back down on my pillow. I try to sit up again but find that I am unable to. "Tony, what are you doing?"

That was just a test.

Tony obviously has more control over me than what I thought and he knows it. Warmth starts to spread over me. I feel aroused? My hand, not under my control, starts to slip down my body. "Tony, you are not making me fuck myself!" I state firmly.

Come on. You want me too. I haven't touched you like this in months.

"Tony, please wait," I know I'm at Tony's mercy but I trust him enough to take my concern to heart.

Fine.

Suddenly, I'm in control again. The arousal dies down. I sit up. Unrestricted this time.

Can we go get something to eat? I haven't eaten in over a month.

I smile. "Of course," I start to dress myself feeling only mildly awkward that Tony is in my body watching me, "what do you want?"

How about a good American hamburger?

"Okay, deal," I walk out of the Sanctum and walk the every busy streets of New York.

It's late. After 11 but New York is the city that never sleeps so I'm sure I'll be able to find something for Tony. Soon enough we come across a small dine-in. We enter and a small bell rings above our head. Inside one other customer sits alone while eating a cheeseburger. Oddly enough the man seems to be talking to himself. Tony takes control to order his hamburger talking in my voice. "You could have just told me what you wanted," I state forgetting that talking to one's self is not quite normal.

I notice the other customer looks back at me with an odd glance.

"What a bunch of crazies we have here tonight," the cashier grumbles.

Only mildly angered at his words I choose to ignore him and I find a place to sit while Tony once again takes control to enjoy his meal. "You know, I will never get use to that feeling of not being in control of my own body," I complain to Tony once again accidentally speaking aloud.

The other customer eyes me again. I use my magic to read his aura. Oddly enough two auras apear. One dark grey and the other blue. Weird... Likely another magical practitioner would see the same if looking at me now. The customer gets up and walks over to us. Maybe he's mad at me for eyeing him. He looks tough. I ready myself for a fight. "This might be a weird question... You're not possessed by an alien parasite are you?" The tough looking, possibly homeless, man asks.

Immediately after saying that the man punches himself in the face. "Parasite is a term of endearment, love," the man claims while talking to himself.

"No, I'm just possessed by the ghost of my dead husband," I reply blandly.

I don't like this guy.

"My alien is my husband too," the man states and if I wasn't a sorcerer I might think this whole conversation was crazy.

"That's it, you both are banned from this restaurant, go act crazy elsewhere," the owner of the restaurant rudely pushes us out the door.

My sandwich is still inside. The man stole my sandwich!

"No, you can not eat him, he's just a small business owner trying to make a living," the other man talks to himself or presumably his alien husband.

I decide it might be best to get Tony and myself home. "It was nice talking with you..."

"Eddie," the man supplies.

"... but we should be getting home."

"Okay, have a good night, see you two around," Eddie states and we both part ways.

He was weird.

"Yeah, but so are we," I reply.

I love our weirdness.

"I do too."

Sorry for the abrupt ending but I didn't know how else to end it. When Tony possessed Stephen I was getting Symbrock vibes so I decided to include them too. Also, I'm getting ready to post a symbrock story. So be on the look out for that. Anyway, thank you!
