Peter

"Thanks again for showing me around" the new kid Wade said as we walked out of the school.

"Oh no worries man. I'm happy to help" I answered.

"Hey, what do you have as first period tomorrow?"

"Uhm....I think I have English"

"Oh great! Me too....do you maybe....wanna walk to class together?" Wade asked as we got to the road.

"Yeah sure"

Wade's face then light up with a bright smile.

"Okay great! I uh....I guess I'll see you tomorrow" Wade said before he started walking away.

"See you tomorrow!" I answered and started walking across the road.

As I did my spidey sense went off and I looked to my right only to see a red car inches away from me, not being able to slow down in time. The car hit me and everything turned dark.

I checked the time and felt my concern grow. Mine and Peter's lab session started ten minutes ago and the kid still wasn't here. Usually he's half an hour early. I'd already called him several times but he wasn't answering. There had been no news about spider-man either. I sighed and waited 20 more minutes before I had enough. Something was wrong. Peter had never been late and even the times he thought he was running late he called. Something must've happened. Maybe his aunt knew. I scrolled through my contacts and waited as it rang. After a while she picked up.

"Hello?" She answered with a weak voice.

"Hello ms. Parker. It's Tony Stark here. I uh...I just wanted to call and ask if you know where Peter is? He's not here for our lab session and I can't seem to reach him" I said trying to hide how concerned I really was.

"Oh....uhm....well that's because Peter he...he was in an accident earlier today....and he has not woken up yet" ms. Parker said obviously trying to maintain her tears.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"At the author-was-too-lazy-to-come-up- with-a-name hospital"

"Alright. I'll be there soon" I said and hung up.

....

I pretty much ran into the hospital with my armor still de transforming back into my arc reactor. People of course gave me weird glares as I ran towards the front desk.

"Hey which room is Peter Parker in?" I asked.

The girl behind the desk looked at me in complete shock as she slowly tapped into the computer and glanced at it for a moment.

"Uhmm....h-he's i-in r-room 42 sir" she said.

"Thank you" I said and rushed to wherever that room was.

Outside I saw his aunt talking to some doctor. She spotted me and looked a little surprised. I mean I don't blame her. She still doesn't know Peter's secret. Hell, she probably thinks Peter just runs around giving everyone coffee at the internship.

"I came as fast as I could. How is he?" I asked and looked at the doctor.

"Well....like I just told ms. Parker....mr. Parker's surgery was successful and we managed to stabilize and fix any internal damage. However the hospital bill...."

"I'll pay for it" I interrupted which made both of the people in front of me look at me in shock.

"Sir....that's 20 560 dollars" the doctor said as if I was expecting it to cost below 100 dollars.

"Yeah....and? I'll pay for it. Preferably before ms. Parker recovers from the shock and tries to stop me"

After arguing some with Peter's aunt I was finally allowed to pay and now also got to go and see Peter while ms. Parker spoke to the doctor a bit more. I entered the room and saw Peter laying in a bed with his eyes closed. I walked up to him and felt some sort of relief when I saw the color in his skin and the heart rate on the screen. He was gonna be okay. I sighed as I sat down on a chair next to the bed.

"Thought something was up when you didn't show up for our lab session" I said out loud even though Peter was asleep and there was nobody else in the room. "Your aunt said you were in a car accident. I don't know if that's true or if you were out doing....you know.....the doctor said you should wake up soon but...he didn't seem sure. But I want you to know this kid. If you don't wake up soon....I'm forever gonna refer to Star Wars as Star trek" I said looking down at my hands with a slight smirk.

"Meanie" I heard a familiar voice say.

I couldn't help but smile as I looked up at the young boy I almost considered my own.

"Had to wake you up with something" I smirked.

"Normally people try to bribe people that are in a coma. But you just threaten people....not cool Mr. Stark. Not cool"

"Aw c'mon kid. It worked, didn't it?"

"I hate you" Peter sighed and looked away with a smile on his face.

"I'm sure you do kiddo" I answered back with the same smile. "I'm sure you do"
