I can see right through you. (Please read the A/N so you understand)
Whaaaaatttt?! An actual chapter?! This is a rare find!
Came up with this one myself! Requests are coming btw, I just wanted to work on this real quick.
IMPORTANT PART: Peter has anxiety, anorexia, and is depressed, and one day a magic experiment goes wrong, and now his eyes change color based on what he's feeling. It's not permanent, but Peter is scared cause now Mr. Stark might find out about everything. Aka, Peter and Tony fluff.
(I might use this in other stories.. idk yet)
~Legend~
Pink- passion, love, Burgundy- infuriated/ hatred, Red- in pain/normal anger (duh), Orange-in shock/confused/ embarrassed, Yellow-happy/humored/ excited, Green- sick/ jealous, Light Blue-Upset/ sad, Dark blue- depressed/deeply anxious, Purple- Anxious/Fearful, Brown-Guilty/lying, Gray- Tired/ emotionless/ meh, Black- stressed to the point of breaking/ suicidal, White- peaceful, Golden- Hopeful
Mixed colors mean mixed emotions. Duh.
Idk if this has been done before... but oh well.

3rd Person
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Peter shrieked while looking in the mirror. 'My eyes... what the actual-'
"What happened Peter?!" Tony said, skidding into the bathroom in a hurry, and interrupting his thoughts.
"My eyes! What's wrong with them?! They were gray! And now they're orange!" Peter said staring in the mirror. Mr. Stark stared for a second, then said exasperatedly, "Have you been messing around with Stranges books recently?"
"N-no!" His eyes turned Brown. "What the hell! It happened again!" He said as they turned back to orange.
Mr. Stark stared, then dialed rapidly on his phone, calling Strange.
"Tony, it's 5 am, I swear if this isn't-" Strange started.
"Strange, the kids eyes are changing color, can you help him? He went through your books again." Tony cut him off, trying to mask his worry.
"... oh. I know what's wrong. I'm not available for the week, but once I come over I'll fix it. He won't die. The colors represents his emotions." Tony What color is it now?"
"... Purple. What does that mean?" Tony said with a little worry.
"He's anxious. Might wanna calm him down. Anyway, it's spring break for him, right? So nothing to worry about. Now I have to go. Call if something strange happens." ( lol see what I did there?... I'll see myself out.) Strange hung up and Tony turned to Peter.
"Hey... it's gonna be okay kid. It'll wear off.. don't worry." He turned to Peter. His eyes flashed white for a split second before going back purple. "St-still..." He said wringing his hands.
"What could go wrong?" Tony said jokingly. Peters eyes flashed yellow in humor as he smiled, but then went to purple once more as the smile quickly faded.
'Oh I can think of a few things...' he thought dreadfully.
~~Time Skip brought to you by a small bean (Peter)~~
It was at dinner when Peter started to feel his depression creeping up on him. He groaned, 'why now of all times?'
He looked in the mirror to see what color his eyes were, and if his depression was effecting it.
(This is the best I could find... :P)
'Uh oh... that can't be good.. my depression DEFINITELY affecting my eyes...' he thought with dread. 'Parker luck strikes again...'
His eyes then flashed purple as another thought entered his mind, 'wait.. what if Mr. Stark finds out?!'
He quickly found some sunglasses, seeing if they could mask the returning color of deep blue, but it didn't work really well. He knew that Tony wrote down a sheet saying what Peters eye colors mean. There was no doubt Strange said to put that there, because he knew Peter was depressed, dispite Peters attempts to hide it.
No doubt Tony would find out about it.
"Peter? Dinners ready!" Tony called to his room, unaware of Peters current situation.
Peter, trying to keep his voice level, called back, "Just a minute!"
"This isn't good. This isn't good. What am I going to do?!" Peter murmured to himself, pacing around the bathroom. He took another look at the sunglasses.
'These will do for now..' he thought, sliding them on. He then walked into the kitchen.
Tony watched him, cocking his eyebrows at the teen. 'He's hiding something..' Tony thought as he sat down, picking at his food. It was then when Tony realized he hasn't been eating all that much. He was always concerned about that. 'Could it be... no. Peters to happy for that... right?' Tony questioned himself.
"Hey Pete.. why are you wearing those, huh?" He started, watching Peter closely. Peter flinched ever so slightly, but quickly stuttered out, "i-it's nothing!"
Tony gave a look that screamed, I-know-you're-lying-dont-even-start.
Peter gulped, then said, "I'm just a bit... embarrassed..?"
"Was that a question or an answer?" Tony said sarcastically.
"... answer?" Peter said hesitantly.
"Look, Pete, I cant help you if you don't tell me what's up. If it's nothing, then why don't you take those off?" Tony questioned, walking over to him
Peter said, "I.. just feel a little uncomfortable.." he stood and began to walk away from the table.
Tony grabbed his arm, desperate for answers so he could help, and then the glasses fell off, revealing a mix or purple, dark blue, brown, and orange in Peters eyes. (Anxious/fearful, depressed, guilty, and shocked.)
Tony, having memorized the list, stared at Peter as he wrenched his arm away, dashing to his room with a look of fear in his eyes that he could see with or without the colors. 'No.. Peter...'
He had to be sure.
"FRIDAY? Does ... does Peter have depression?" Tony asked fearfully.
"I can confirm that Peter does in fact have depression along with anorexia and anxiety disorder, with PTSD from being a hero." FRIDAY said in an almost sad voice.
"Why... didn't he tell me? Why didn't I see?" Tony questioned himself in worry. "God, I'm so stupid!"
He went to Peters room, knocking softly. "Peter... can I come in?" He said in a soft tone, as if scared he'd frighten Peter.
Peter quietly said, "C-come in..."
Tony opened the door, shutting it softly, and sitting slowly by Peter, who was sitting on the bed. Peter quietly observed him as he did so, but when Tony looked at him, he shut his eyes tightly.
Tony sighed, lifting Peters chin and saying, "Bambi... could you please look at me?"
Peter hesitated, then gave in, opening his eyes, which were now a mix of dark blue, purple, and brown. He said, "I'm sorry..."
"Kid, I'm going to have to ban that word from your vocabulary. You have nothing to be sorry about. If anyone should be apologizing, it's me."
Peter stared, his eyes turning orange in confusion. "What do you mean..? You didn't do anything."
"Yeah, I didn't realize sooner. And I forced you to do something you weren't comfortable with. God, im just like my father..." Tony laughed bitterly at the last statement.
"No you aren't! And I should've told you sooner.." Peter turned away saying the last sentence quietly.
"Can I ask why you didn't?" Tony asked.
"I don't know.. I was scared you'd be disappointed or something..." Peter said sighing. "It's stupid..."
"Hey, don't talk like that... I could never be disappointed in you kid.." Tony said, pulling Peter into a tight hug.
"... Is this a hug Mr. Stark?" Peter laughed, his eyes a golden color (hopeful)
"I didn't know we were there yet."
