Soulmates (Part two)
Wow, you guys really liked the first one. I was not expecting that, to be honest.
So, as promised, here is part two.
A bit more unrelated background info on this (you can skip this if you want):
You don't necessarily need to have one romantic soulmate and one platonic soulmate. There can be two platonic, two romantic, etc. Also, there are people who don't have two marks, and some who don't have any marks. Those people are generally pitied by society at whole, making them usually bitter and mean. Suicide rates are 15% higher for them and they usually develop mental illnesses because the of bad treatment from society as a whole.
Platonic relationships can apply to any other relationship. Mentor, father, mentor, best friend, etc. So it can mean ANYTHING really. They're usually less compelling in society as a whole, for some reason.
Also it was EXCRUCIATINGLY rare to find your soulmate in the past. Now though, it's easier to find them. Your mark matches your soulmate as a mirror image, and with social media, it's pretty easy. Peter never really bothered with it because he was too busy and thought, "I'll find them later," thus the reason Tony didn't find him immediately.
Aaaaannnndddd done with background stuff. Here we go!

Tony Stark POV
'What the fuck, my platonic soulmate is here?! How? In a science fair no less...' I thought as I stared at the mark glow brighter as I shifted my hand in the direction for the students. As I leaned back, it's shine faded slightly. I did this a few times, to confirm what I saw. Nothing changed.
I let out a sigh. 'I'll find them, their mark will glow too.' I thought as I strolled out of my hiding spot, causing several gasps and at least one dropped wrench.
"Hey there! Time to see what you little nerds have been working on! I know you've been working hard, yadda yadda, so let's see what you've done." I said as I spread my arms out in a welcoming motion. There was a brief pause before they cheered, all of them racing up to me except one boy, who was trailing behind, to ask me a million questions, gasp, and shake my hand.
I wasn't paying much attention to them as the other boy, who was staring at me in disbelief. His hair was caramel brown, which curled in a messy style. His eyes were like a doe, he seemed caught in a "Deer in the Headlights" look, no pun intended. He seemed shy though, as he slowly approached, waiting patiently as the other students did their best to catch my attention.
After multiple selfies, hand shakes, and autographs, I finally got to the intriguing boy in question. "Hey there kid! What's your name?" I asked, extending my hand. He took it, his grip surprisingly firm, and shook it, stuttering, "I-I'm Peter. Peter P-Parker. Nice to meet you t-to sir."
I lowered my voice and said, "Thanks for not crowding me like your other classmates. That was frustrating."
"O-oh, it's no problem sir! I just didn't want to be a bother." He said, a little taken a back by the statement but chuckling nonetheless.
I smiled and said, "Well, I can't wait to see what you've made. Good luck, kid." And proceeded to walk to the start of the judges walk, where I examined all of the projects. I didn't even notice at the time that my hand burned brighter and brighter the farther down I went.
When I reached Peters, we talked a lot about his creation of Karen, and how the coding was heavily based off of J.A.R.V.I.S. I found it a learning experience, and saw the kid even found bugs that needed to be fixed in the current system.
At the time, I hadn't even noticed the envious glares from one particular classmate of Peters, who was ready to cause some trouble.
Peter Parker POV
After Mr. Stark visited, I checked my soulmate mark again. It burned really bright, it's light almost blinding me when I looked at it. I quickly put it back in my pocket, thinking about Mr. Starks advice on Karen. It was a really interesting conversation, I'd learned a lot more from that conversation than from my years of school it seemed.
Then I noticed Flash glaring at me from his booth. He pointed at me and than slid his finger across his throat threateningly. I gulped, already praying I'd be able to escape him before he caught me.
Little did I know how much of a day this would become.

Okay, so there will be a part 3. I can't guarantee that it'll be in the next two days cause I'm really busy and am gonna be burned out, but we will see.
Sorry that this is going slowly, I'm at a bit of a writers block right now. Hope you understand.
Anyway, I need sleep. Until next time, Webheads!
