Okay I know y'all want more of Soulmates.

But I'm sick, so my brain can't properly function to make more.

It's coming though.

What I CAN do for the time being though, is tell you what I did yesterday (i.e. May 18, 2019)

So I went to the Renaissance Fest yesterday with my mom, brother, and best friend. We all dressed up and had a great time, despite the fact it was hot and crowded. Among other things, the things I got that I thought were cool was a decorative knife (NOT SHARPENED DON'T WORRY), a pair of horns, and a "pet" which attaches to a wire that makes its head move. It looks like a small cat/white bat with blue fur and I thought it was adorable and decided it was non binary because yes.

So, what did I dress up as? Well, I was a hybrid between a Wood Elf and a Dragonborn, and I had elf ears and everything. I am allergic to pollen though, so when I started sneezing my friend joked, "What kind of Wood Elf is allergic to pollen?" And I replied, "It's probably from my Dragonborn side."

We also joked about there being time travelers who gave us weird things like "phones" and "Zyrtec" (that ones for my allergies) and other shit, and how some of them looked really weird with their tea shirts and other stuff.

So, here's some cool highlights from the trip:

-We took a picture with another cosplayer who handed us a business card and said, "I don't actually work here." But hey, you didn't hear that from me :)

-We saw an improve comedy show where I got the people on stage to try and act out a manual for a door which was funny. My friend made them do a scene where they could only say the words, "My shoe is untied." It was hilarious.

-I had a decorative bag I made out of random shit in my room and I had flowers left over from a play I did so I filled it with flowers and other shit. It was really heavy though so I was dying.

-I used eyeshadow in place of blush (they didn't have any green blush...) and it worked really well, I recommend it.

-When me and my friend were buying knifes, the dude selling them said, "Do you have an adult with you? Cause we're technically not allowed to sell these to minors but if you have one it's fine." And we said yes. My mom freaked out when she saw we got actual knives because there were wooden ones she apparently thought we'd get. She let me keep mine though :)

-I was sweating the whole time but I didn't wanna ruin the look so I just smiled my pain away. (As usual)

-We all sang our favorite Disney songs while we drove to the festival and as we walked in. It consisted of "Poor Unfortunate Souls," "Prince Ali," "You ain't never had a friend like me!" And a few more. It was fun and my friend really needs to be a theater kid cause her acting was on point.

-All in all it was awesome and I'm definitely going back next year
