We Don't Like Bullies...

(Important AN at the end.)

And May lives at the compound with Peter and the Avengers

Peter rolls over in bed, trying to ignore the constant beeping of his alarm. He doesn’t want to get out of bed, it’s too warm and comfortable, and safe. Of course Peter Parker is never that lucky. He’s just about to fall back asleep when someone grabs him by the ankle and literally drags him out of bed.

He lands on the floor with a thud, nearly hitting his head on his nightstand in the process. He looks up and is met with a smiling Clint Barton.

“Time to get up you lazy bum, or else you’ll be late for school.”

“Uncle Clint, I don’t want to go to school today. Can I just skip?” Peter asks. He pulls his blanket off his bed and covers up, not even bothering to get off the floor.

“As much as I would love to spend the day with you, your Aunt is extremely Persuasive. She says you have to go, so you’re going.”

“Persuasive, or scary?”

“Both.” Clint replies, a little fear in his eyes. “She’s tied with Pepper and Nat. Now move it or I’ll get the water.”

“No you won’t.” Peter closes his eyes again and he hears Clint leave the room. With a sigh of relief, he allows himself to drift off to sleep once again. Only seconds later, he’s drenched with Ice cold water. It soaks his clothes and his blankets, instantly waking him up and making any comfort impossible.

“Now move it.” Clint walks out and closes the door behind him, leaving Peter to get ready for the day. Peter quickly gets dressed, brushes his teeth, and runs a comb through his mess of curls before slinging his bag over his shoulder and heading towards the kitchen.

Usually someone else would’ve woke him up, but the others were out on a mission and Pepper and May were working. That means Uncle Clint had the pleasure of babysitting the teen for the day. Peter goes to leave for school when Clint stops him.

“May said you had to eat breakfast. And to make sure you had lunch money.”

Peter grabs an Apple and pulls the five dollar bill from his pocket and shows it to the archer. He nods in approval before allowing Peter to leave.

Peter pulls out his phone and turns on his music, slipping in his headphones. The walk to school is uneventful, but for some reason his spidey sense is going crazy. He looks around for the unknown threat, but everything seems normal.

It’s Probably just one of those days, Peter thinks to himself as he walks through the front doors of his school. He walks to his locker, looking around for his best friend. It’s odd, usually Ned would’ve found him by now. As if on command Ned runs into him, nearly shoving him to the ground. Peter catches his balance and takes his headphones out before turning to his best friend.

“Slow down, Ned. You’re gonna hurt someone.”

“Sorry Peter. I was looking for you.”

“Yeah I could tell.”

“No, you don’t understand. I was going to warn you about-”

“HEY PUNY PARKER!!" Flashes voice booms, echoing through the hallway. “WHERE ARE YOU?!?”

Peter’s eyes widen in horror as he tries to back away before the bully can find him. However, he’s a few minutes to late as Flash. spots him in the sea of students who are all watching. Flash shoves his way through the crowd, ignoring the shouts of protest from the others.

He catches up to Peter and grabs him by the back of his shirt before slamming him into a locker. “Where do you think you’re going?” Flash asks.

“What do you want Flash?” Peter asks him. He’s getting tired of this game Flash likes to play.

“You got me suspended.”

“W-What? How?” Peter asks, not believing a word of it.

“You snitched. You told Mr. Harrington that I cheated on the History Exam.”

“No! I didn’t even know you cheated!” Peter says, feeling slightly panicked. Flash has never gotten violent before but with the rage he’s obviously feeling at the moment, Peter doesn’t know what will happen. “Have you considered that maybe Mr. Harrington saw you.”

“You smart mouthing me, Parker?” Peter didn’t get the chance to respond before Flash lands a punch to the jaw, knocking Peter to the ground. Peter could’ve blocked it easily, but Flash never hurt him other than a few harsh words, so this was unexpected. Peter gently touches his jaw where the bruise is already beginning to show. He makes no move to try to stand as Flash glares at him.

“Maybe now you’ll think twice before running your mouth Puny Parker.”

This was gonna be a rough day…

“So you really can’t come over tonight?” Ned asks Peter as they both walk outside. It’s the end of the school day and for the most part, they’ve managed to avoid Flash. The bruise from earlier that morning has faded slightly thanks to his advanced healing, but not enough to go unnoticed.

“Sorry man. May wanted me home tonight. Something about a family dinner.”

“You’re having a family dinner… with the Avengers.” Peter gives an exhausted sigh. Even though Ned has been told a thousand times, he still doesn’t quite believe it. “Who all’s gonna be there?”

“I know that Scott and Cassie are coming. And Clint has his family coming over.” Peter replies. Before Ned can fanboy anymore, the sound of a car horn draws their attention to the parking lot. Peter immediately spots Happy’s car a few yards away. He can’t let everyone at the tower see him like this, if they did they would kill Flash in a heartbeat. (If the Fandom didn't get him first)

“I’ll talk to you later Ned.”

“Okay I guess. Bye Peter.” Ned walks in the opposite direction as Peter puts up his hood, trying his best to hide the bruise Flash gave him. When he gets close enough to the car, Happy rolls down the window and waves him over.

“Hurry up kid, we’re on a tight schedule.” Peter opens the door and silently gets in the back seat, hoping Happy hasn’t seen anything.

The first thing Happy notices is how unusually quiet the kid is. Normally Peter’s ranting about some science stuff or about his patrol as Spiderman the night before, but now he’s silent. Happy keeps his eyes on the road as he tries to figure it out.

“Hey kid.”

“Hey Happy…” Peter mumbles quietly.

“How was school?”

“It was okay.”

“Anything happen today?”

“No.” After a few more failed attempts, Happy simply puts up the divider between the two and leaves him alone. He picks up his phone and dials the one Person he thinks can help. A few seconds later, he answers.

“Hello?”

“Hey Tony. There’s something wrong with your kid.” Happy says with a sigh. He may act like he doesn’t care much for Peter, but he cares more than most.

“He’s not my-” There’s a slight pause as he realizes what was said. “What do you mean something’s wrong Hap. Is he hurt? What’s going on?”

“He’s not hurt, or at least I don’t think he is. It’s just that he’s extremely quiet. Something’s wrong.”

Peter stays quiet as he listens to their conversation. Happy’s trying to be quiet, but Peter’s enhanced hearing picks up the conversation anyway. Now, he has to prepare himself and think of a plan of escape. A headache slowly takes over, making Peter groan in both pain and exhaustion.

Thanks For The headache Flash…

“Kid, we’re here. Tony’s waiting for you in the common area.” Peter opens the door and steps out, slinging his bag over his shoulder as he walks towards the front doors. He considers turning back and attempting an upstairs window, but Happy is following right in behind him.

After going through security Happy leaves Peter alone, trying not to smother the kid. The elevator ride seems to fast for Peter as he makes his way to the common area. He plans to go directly to his room, but he still has to get past the superhero waiting for him.

When he gets there, he keeps his head down and his hood up as he stumbles through the livingroom. In his hurry to sneak past Tony Stark, he runs into none other than Natasha Romanoff. The impact knocks him to the ground for the second time that day and he can’t help but wonder why this happens to him. Parker Luck never fails.

“Oh, I’m sorry маленький паук. I didn’t see-” She spots Peter before he can fix his hood, noticing the purple mark across his jawline.

“маленький паук what happened?!” Peter stands to his feet and adjusts his hood as he tries to make it past the spy.

“Nothing Aunti Tasha, I’m fine. I’m gonna go to my room and-” Natasha grabs his shoulder and turns him around to face her. Peter keeps his eyes focused on
his shoes, not wanting to meet her gaze.

“Peter, take off the hood.” No reponse. He puts his hands in his pockets and Silently prays that she’ll leave it alone. “Peter, take off the dang hood and look at me.”

When he makes no move to do so, The assassin jerks the hood back. Peter slowly looks up, expecting his Aunt to be angry to say the least. However, when he sees her he sees an unsusual sadness in her eyes.

“Auntie Tasha?”

“Who did this to you?”

“Nobody, I just-”

“Oh, Hey Peter. Happy told me that something was wrong. Are you feeling-” Tony stops when he sees the bruise across his kids face. Unlike Natasha, his eyes fill with rage.

“Peter Benjamin Parker, what in the name of Thor happened to you?”

“Some kid at school. But it’s fine! I can totally handle it.”

“It doesn’t look like you can handle it. At least tell me that you hit him back.” Clint says from behind him. Soon enough, all of the Avengers have gathered around Peter, some ready to kill and some looking sad. Most however, look ready for murder.

“I didn’t hit him back.” Peter mumbles under his breath.

“What was that?” Clint asks.

“I didn’t hit him back! I
didn’t want to hurt him.”

“He didn’t seem to have a problem hurting you.” Steve says as he steps forward to inspect the bruise.

“Just… don’t do anything stupid. Let me fix this.” Peter replies.

“To bad kid. We’re going to talk to this kid.” Tony says.

“You don’t even know who he is.”

“FRIDAY? Who’s the bully?”

“Sir, his name appears to be Eugene ‘The Flash’ Thompson. Age, 16. Attends Midtown school of Science and Technology. It appears that he is still at the school, serving detention.”

“Alright. Team, suit up. Let’s move out.”

Peter stumbles behind the team as they make their way to the high school. They all pile into one vehicle and all to soon they arrive. Natasha is the first inside, going to the office and finding out what classroom he’s in.

Needless to say Flash is shocked when the Avengers barge into the detention room, interupting the Captain America PSA currently playing on the TV.

“Woah…” He whispers, barely loud enough to hear. Captain America stands in front, shield in hand with the others standing by his side.

“Peter, come up here please.” The Captain says. Peter slowly makes his way to the front, preparing for the worst when Flash sees him.

“Puny Parker? What are you doing here?” Flash asks. The entire team steps forward.

“What did you just call him?” Tony says.

“P-Peter Parker… sir.” Flash stutters.

“Where you the one who hit my brother?” Wanda asks, her eyes glowing red.

“W-What? B-b-brother?”

“Yes. My brother.” Flash takes a deep breath and tries to appear more confident. Despite him attempting to stand taller, Peter can still see the fear in his eyes.

“Maybe I did. But you can’t touch me. You can’t hurt a minor, and my parents are loaded. I come from a very influencial family. I can get away from this.” The Captain takes a step forward.

“Son, I don’t like bullies. I don’t care where they’re from.” Flash’s previous confidence is shattered as he sinks back into his seat, obviously terrified.

“Now, you’re going to apologize to Peter and then you’re going to leave him alone. And not just him, but every other kid you make miserable.” Flash nods, but
doesn’t say anything else.

“You heard him Eugene. Apologize.” Natasha states, pointing from Flash to Peter with the dagger she holds in her hand.

“I’m sorry.” Flash mumbles.

“Louder Eugene. We couldn’t hear you.” Clint says.

“I’m sorry, Parker. I’m sorry I bully you and I’ll leave you alone.” Flash says. Peter can’t help but smile.

“I forgive you Flash.” Peter says.

“And if you don’t leave him alone, no school will accept you and I’ll sue you and your parents for everything you own.” Tony says. The room falls silent.

“Understood?” Once again, Flash nods. Tony looks around the dreary classroom before his eyes land on the TV screen.

“Look spangles, it’s you.” Tony says as he motions to the screen. Everyone looks at the TV to see the Captain America PSA.

“I never should’ve made those videos.” Steve says as he shakes his head in embarrassment. They all laugh as they leave the classroom, leaving a shocked and terrified Flash behind them.
