I Just Realised...
Alrighty then here's another part. I hope you like it. It's Angst with Fluff at the end. My sister called it Flangst when she read it. (I honestly don't know...) but I think it turned out okay.

Peter adjusts his bag on his shoulder before saying goodbye to May and heading to school. Something felt off about today, but Peter couldn't figure out what it was. Nothing was going on, and everything seemed pretty normal. But then again, when is Peter's life ever normal?
He walks up the steps to the school, following the crowds of students into the halls as they made their way to their lockers. Peter meets up with Ned and MJ in the hall as they walk to their first class of the day, mechanics. It's a required class, but it's not really that bad. It's actually pretty fun and their teacher Ms. Linh is one of the best. Peter and Ned believe she may be part Cyborg, but that's crazy. Right?
They get to class and get ready for their assignment for the day. Ms. Linh steps up to the front of the room and gets everyone's attention.
"Okay guys, today we're working on building our very own androids. You can build and design one however you like, and if it works you can name it. If you think you can figure out how, try to give it a personality. You may begin."
Peter, Ned, and MJ group up and begin working on their bot, starting with a simple design before adding more complex features. They add in more advanced tech like a personality chip and something similar to Karen, Peter's AI.
"Maybe if we add something to the internal wiring. Maybe an extra circuit board to allow more features." Ned says as he looks at the rough draft of their design.
"Well you wouldn't want to overload it. To much data and it might crash or overheat." MJ responds.
"Maybe. But not if we make it so only a few features can function at the same time. And adding a fan of some kind would allow the wiring and internal works to cool down. That way it wouldn't get too hot." Peter finally adds in. His friends nod as they make changes and add some notes to the design. They're halfway through when the announcement is made.
"Attention students! We are now on Lockdown. We are officially on lockdo-" A shot rings out over the intercom, causing everyone to jump from their seats and move into action. The frightened students make their way to the far back corner of the room, praying that the intruder leaves them alone. That they'll all be okay.
A few minutes pass, and the students slowly come out of hiding. Maybe he's gone? The students quietly look for an exit, trying to find a way outside. They're arguing in quiet whispers when the door swings open and three men rush inside, guns in hand. The students of Midtown's mechanics class jump back, hiding behind anything available.
"We're looking for something specific. A peice of alien tech, and we're not leaving here without it." The first man says. He steps closer to the kids, ignoring the fear in their eyes. "For every five minutes that we have to wait, that's one kid down. Do you understand?" When no one answers, he lifts his gun and fires s few rounds into the air.
"He asked if you understand!" One of the other men yells. The students all nod furiously, feeling panicked and afraid. The third man looks at his watch before whispering something to the first gunman. Normal people wouldn't have been able to hear the quiet conversation, but Peter Parker is far from normal.
"Devon made the call. The cops should be around within the next five minutes."
"Do they know our demands?"
"Devon told them he wanted a truckload of alien tech from damage control and a free pass out of here. Still no word on if they agreed."
The man nods and they wait for another few minutes before a phone rings. The tallest man pulls it from his pocket before answering. The longer he's on the phone the more frustrated he becomes. Eventually, he hangs up and shoves the device back in his pocket. He steps forward, moving the gun toward the crowd.
"The police have denied us what we asked for. They don't think we'll do it, so we're gonna start sending them a little message. Who's first?" Every student seems to cower away as the man comes closer. The man looks around the group before advancing towards the bully himself.
Flash's eyes fill with fear, and he looks on the edge of tears. The man grabs him roughly by the arm and drags him to the front of the class. He puts the gun to Flash's head as he ignores the teens tears and pleas.
"STOP!!" Peter scrambles to his feet, raising his hands in surrender. If only he'd brought his web shooters today. "D-Don't hurt him." The man lowers his gun, a smirk on his face.
"What're you gonna do shortie?"
"L-Let me take his place..."

Tony Stark has never been one to watch the news (unless he was on it), but as he moved to his workshop, he had FRIDAY turn the TV to channel Six anyways. He isn't really paying a attention as he works on reinstalling Peter's parachute and repairing his webshooters. He's halfway through when he hears something that makes his blood run cold.
"-at Midtown High. The hostage situation is still unclear as the gunmen make demands, but it is known that students were unable to leave the building. A few shots were fired moments ago-" Stark stops listening as he drops the webshooter he was holding. Midtown? Peter goes to Midtown...
Once it starts to make sense and Tony understands the situation he drops everything, the discarded Spider-Man equipment hitting the floor. He takes off, sprinting up the stairs.
"FRIDAY! Get me to the school, NOW!!" His IronMan suit forms around him and he takes off toward the school. When he gets there he lands next to the police and other first responders, stepping out of his armor. He immediately starts to the front doors, but is pushed back by an officer.
"I'm sorry sir, but you can't go in there. We're handling the situation as best we can-"
"Move out of my way. My kid is in there!!" Tony attempts to move past him, only to be pushed back again by two policemen. "Don't. Push. Me." he says through gritted teeth.
"What're you going to do?"
"I'll push you back." He shoves past them all before dashing towards the school.

"L-Let me take his place." Peter says. The gunman nods before shoving Flash to the floor and grabbing Peter by the arm. He drags him forward before turning to his partner.
"Any word?"
"They're still refusing." he replies. The gunman nods before pointing the gun at Peter's chest. The man almost seems to hesitate, and Peter takes this opportunity and attempts to take the gun. The two struggle for a moment before a shot rings out, echoing throughout the room as they both fall to the floor.
At the sane time, the door swings open and in comes a disheveled and panicked Tony Stark. He lifts his IronMan gauntlet, aiming at and shooting the other two men leaving them unconscious. He looks around to see his kid and a third guy, the other shooter lying unconscious on the floor. He dashes over to Peter, who is trying to stand. Tony sprints over to him and pulls him into a hug.
"Oh gods Pete, you trying to kill me? You nearly gave me a heart attack."
"I'm sorry." Peter says quietly. As the adrenaline of the moment wears off, he begins to feel the searing hot pain in his chest and abdomen. "Uh... Mr. Stark?"
"Yeah kid?" Peter backs away to face the billionaire.
"So...I just realised...I've been shot." Peter looks down at his T-shirt as Tony does the same. The white material is turning red, spreading from the places in his stomach and chest. Peter pales at the sight before falling to the ground.
"Kid! Hey underoos, you gotta stay awake! Kid open your eyes!"
"I'm tired. I want to go to sleep..." Peter mumbles. He's sweating now as he tries to ignore the white-hot pain.
"No kid, you can't sleep now. Someone go get help!" Tony shakes Peter's shoulders, trying to keep him awake. He cradles the kids head in his hands as Peter slowly slips in and out of consciousness.
"Pete open your eyes! Please..."
Peter hears Tony's voice fade out before everything goes black.

Beep...Beep...Beep
Peter opens his eyes for a moment, only to regret it a second later. The lights are to bright, and the smell of disinfectant lingers in the air. He groans as he feels the intense pain in his chest and stomach.
"Kid?" a voice asks.
"Mr. Stark?"
"Yeah kid, it's me."
"It's too bright. The lights..."
"FRIDAY, dim the lights to 15 percent." The lights grow darker and Peter slowly opens his eyes to meet his mentor. "That better?"
"Yeah. Thanks Mr. Stark."
"No problem Pete. Just promise me something."
"Hmm?"
"Don't get shot again. I don't think I could handle it." Peter laughs a little and gives him a slow nod.
"I'll try."
"No, trying isn't good enough. Promise me you won't die."
"I promise." Peter replies, smiling.
"Okay. You up for a movie or something? How does Star Wars sound?"
"Sounds great." The father and son duo (Not that they'd ever admit it) sit together, for the moment enjoying the peace that is so rare in their lives. Maybe Parker Luck isn't such a bad thing after all.

Hello my Amazing Arachnids. How's it going?
I hate it when Peter gets hurt but my mind was being evil and thus, this was born.
